  1. The Arisaka Type 99 is the latest weapon to get a fresh lick of paint Still to come: M1 Garand, M1A1 Thompson and M1903A4 Springfield
  2. The Ithaca 37 has just gotten a facelift, and we'd expect a few other weapons to follow Bulldozer:
  3. Yee probably had, but we had a MkII laying around from the old WC so we thought "fuck it, why not"

    Faces of War [WW2]

    I don't think he understands himself sometimes I think he's saying it's a K98a rather than a G98
  5. Hmm, no clue. Antialiasing maybe? I doubt it but try turning it down/off if you have it on. your graphics settings automatically downscale the textures if they're set low enough so try going to very high/ultra and see if it helps
  6. They do, they're just not used in Arma, for very good reasons I mainly put that there because I'm a sarcastic little shit
  7. http://www.strawpoll.me/10447445 Please let us know whether yee would like 4k or 2k textures for our assets, as although I'm a huge fan of 4K stuff (such as RHS) I know the pain of low FPS due to intensive mods

Yeah, it's definitely meant to be a G98 but they don't have the little grooves cut out of the side of the chassis like that model does

Actually, those sights confirm it's definitely a G98, although the cutouts in the body make me think it's a G98 B, which doesn't have that sight design
  10. Decided to try out this Iron Front malarkey while checking out the new shadow LODs I'd just finished and it made for some pretty screens of our US gear These obviously aren't our uniforms, but with the North Korean one currently getting a quick polish we expect the Yank to be done soon enough

Hmm, chassis says Arisaka type 99 or Mauser G98 but safety suggests it's definitely the Mauser? Edit Or is it the carbine version of the 98?

Ah of course, welcome to Arma, where your specs don't matter and whatever you're doing you're doing it wrong :D
  14. The censorship office *cough*welshstalker*cough* has decided this message is too extreme for small children.....
  15. So, so, close It's a knockoff of the tt-33, so you're almost right
  16. We haven't started, but I've delegated 2 of our members to work on our terrain with Variable from the 7th Cav mod team, who will be helping us with our terrain, and they're going to start planning it very soon hopefullyNo, both uniforms are not finished yet, but they are absolutely flying along and we expect to have them by the stated release date Our biggest obstacle is animations but hellceaser from the Blood trenches team is helping us with those, so they shouldn't be a problem for much longer
  17. There's a lot of things that were needed and have since been re-done, hoping to have the new textures in game tonight
  18. Type 99 rvmat is now working, and the bipod and monopod are also fully functional!
  19. It is indeed! The Kai-shek is also planned, but further down the line, when we add the PRC and PLA/PVA
  20. I'm sorry to hear that man, and yeah it is, it was my favourite part of history in school and it's always surprised me that so many people know so little about it On an unrelated not, due to the discovery of a typo in 3 of our weapons which were causing issues with rotation animations, we now have all of our finished models in game all ~90% functional (LODs still need to be finished) and if the current work-rate is kept we could be looking at a very basic early release as soon as the next 6 weeks, depending on how the uniforms work out and if we can find a character animator
