Arma 2 sound static

I just installed the game about an hour ago and every time i've tried to play, i get a static sound whenever i walk or shoot a weapon. i tried a fix but that just made it worse, now it's a very loud static sound. all the time. i haven't been able to play because of this.

editt: more info: it only does it with this game, and it doesn't do it when i watch youtube videos.

My main Steam account, the CD key was stolen for ARMA 11 OA so I couldn't play dayz, So I decided to buy it on another account but I still got bad serial number, so I re installed windows 7, created another new account and it worked, BUT now for some reason dayz works on all of my three accounts?
