I think the brightest example is Pridnestrovye (Transnitria), who are under control of Russia and have no voice in whether they want to become part of Moldova or just remove Russian troops from their territory.

In Russia it is illegal to ask for a referendum and discuss federalization in a protest. So maybe Putin should ask his fellow Russians what they think about self determination, before forcing it on the people of other states?
-
I think it's closer to Insurgency than ArmA 2. Insurgency also promised very interesting co-op gameplay, but in the end it turned out to have very linear deathmatch maps. Not sure about this 'Squad' game...
-
Yes, but it's definitely not the sole contributing factor. Russia is also extremely dependent on imports. From medicine to automobiles. Countries like Norway and Nigeria, who are also dependent on their oil, have suffered only a 10% fall in their currencies.
-
Putin loves to blame current problems on external factors, but then claims all successes on his own genius. Guess by how much oil prices rose from 1999 until 2008?... 10 times. I think that's a lot of extra money that you can use to buy yourself mansions and yachts, and leave a little for the common Russian to increase his salary.

Very interesting! Any plans to add more vehicles and air units?

May have something to do with the ban of Belarus exports to Russia? I don't think Lukashenko is serious - just needs Moscow to come and beg (in the form of increased trade and financial aid). Similar stories come from the other side, in Kazakhstan, which also depends largely on economic trades with Russia: Kazakh President Calls For Compromise Between Russia And Ukraine Also, Lukashenko said he's interested in making a joint Belarussian-Ukrainian TV channel to show the 'real' situation in Donbass, and Nazarbayev offered coal trades for Ukraine.

Something a little bit more up-to-date. (ITAR-TASS) Lukashenko says Belarus is ready to help Ukraine

He's the head of a well-respected intelligence company.

It's still illegal by Russian law. Putin needs to read the Constitution from time to time. :)

4 days is long time ago? I encourage you to read both parts, as it shows Russian military on these tanks and admitting that they're in Ukraine (especially in the first part).

What do you call proof? How about this: http://sled-vzayt.livejournal.com/926.html This is the continuation of the previous article I posted a couple pages back.

RHS Escalation (AFRF and USAF)
Sub-Human replied to soul_assassin's topic in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: COMPLETE
I think Russian Defense Ministry already denied AK-12. They will probably go with the American route - stick with a tested rifle (AK-74), perhaps adding a couple modifications, but leaving mostly as is. Is he fighting in Ukraine? ;)- 16546 replies

Damian90 (or anyone from RHS team), are you planning on introducing new Russian equipment to reflect the newly-adopted Ratnik outfit?- 16546 replies

Too late - Russian shops are starting to introduce prices in у.е. (money units, most likely related to euro) - pay in rubles, but according to whatever the exchange rate is on that day. :)

Europe does not need Russian gas. In the next 10-15 years Gazprom will likely be completely out of business in Europe and better find a new market. The Black Sea has a very large natural gas reserve that Romania and Bulgaria can use (up to 600 billion cubic metres). Romania also has one of the largest shale gas reserves in Europe. In addition there are plans to import Western European gas, a project that will cost 750 million euro and deliver upwards of 25 billion cubic meters (compare this to $1 bln. USD that Bulgaria was supposed to donate to South Stream project). And Turkey is planning a new pipeline from Azerbaijan that will deliver about 20 billion cubic meters.

I don't want to be that conspiracy guy, but I'm finding this attack rather surprising... Some Moscow residents claimed there was a state of alarm in the city (helicopters patrolling), perhaps Russian Intelligence expected an attack in Moscow?
-
That is not entirely true, soldiers are trained to be able to march with full equipment for several hours. Some units go out for entire days (of course, they do sleep and take breaks) and then the worst is blisters on the foot. I think ArmA soldiers are pretty lightweight, a lot of them do not have backpacks that would be filled with rations, water, blankets, tents, rope... Also, if you consider that most multiplayer operations can be completed in just over an hour, with vehicle transportation in between and frequent breaks to discuss plans, I'd say there's not much fatigue put upon the player.

Why America is NOT the greatest country in the world, any-more.
Sub-Human replied to walker's topic in OFFTOPIC
And who are you to say that the Russian people are happy with their government? Luzhkov (Moscow's mayor) had a 90% approval rating, then when he got kicked - suddenly it's only 10%. Don't be so gullible about Russian approval ratings. -
What do you want to see in the expansion?
Sub-Human replied to Westonsammy's topic in ARMA 3 - GENERAL
Definitely more content. Wouldn't matter to me if they didn't introduce any features at all, as long as we get more factions, weapons, vehicles and develop the 2035 setting a bit more.
