Okay, maybe I'm tired and just need rest to figure this out or I'm having some kind of undiscovered version of a massive brainfart. The player's body, class man, has armor = 2. That means he's got a global health of 2. His armorStructural = 0.4 meaning if he took 4 damage, then it would translate into 1.6, or 40% of the damage. ExplosionShielding = 0.04, taken from armorStructural / 10 OR 0.4 / 10 = 0.04. Checking the Soldier Protection Wiki Page lead to some interesting revelations for me. The subclasses of the base hitpoints for man would have armor ADDED on to the original total when something like a plate carrier was equipped. In addition, passThrough is a coeffecient that determines how much damage is going to pass through into total damage when the hitpoint is struck. So, for example. Say HitDiaphragm with- armor = 1 passThrough = 0.1 explosionShielding = 6 Is covered by some armor with- armor = 20 armor = 0.2 And that's leaves the totals at- armor = 21 passThrough = 0.02 So, if a round that deals 100 damage flies and smacks into this piece of armor, would the calculation for this whole thing go as- 100 / 21 = 4.76(rounded for the sake of ease.) * ( 2 * .2 = 10) = 47.6 * (0.02) * (0.4) = 0.3808. I feel like I goofed up somewhere along here, but correct me if I'm wrong. EDIT- Not done with this yet, hit Enter Key on accident and it saved. Still working this out in my head and on paper. EDIT-Now I'm done. -

I've been reading through those, but maybe I'm just missing something or whatnot. I'll probably experiment with some vanilla configs and see if I can figure it out... -
IIRC, Bohemia added the ability to see the classnames of equipment, weapons, uniforms, etc, when you move your mouse over the item in the Virtual Arsenal. Alternatively, you can just export and copypasta what you need.

I mean, you can take the NATO Prowler and apply CTRG textures, but it won't have CTRG Equipment inside. That's the difference.

The Prowler(light) is not the only CTRG Prowler. The devs hid the other two prowlers inside the Motorized Recon and Assault Teams.

Step 1: Verify integrity of game cache. Step 2: Go watch a movie as the process takes about 30 to an hour to complete. Step 3: If that doesn't work, reinstall. If reinstallation doesn't work, I don't know what to say. -
Seeing that Black Variants of the weapons, especially the Black Raheem, was a fresh breath of air.

Good Quality Black Equipment? TRYK Uniforms, TAC Vests. Those are the only two that I can think of off the top of my head at the moment. -

Cannot Connect to Official Servers After Multiple Valdidations.

Started up arma 3 this morning to check out a small number of mods, disabled them and came back later tonight to play vanilla. Started without mods. Servers loaded up Noticed the Official servers playercount was unusually low. Normally the amount of Master (insert map here) Zeus (NATO) was normally about 4-5 servers maxed or nearly full, but it looked more like 2-3 or so. Tried to connect to an empty server, mid-sized server, KOTH server. Connection lasted a while, connecting failed is all I got. Exited, reverified for 30 minutes or so with one file being reacquired(that's another thing, why does it take so long to validate?)' Restarted Arma. Same thing happened last time. Restarted computer. Okay, so I connected to the Master Altis 48+2 server, forgot which one it was. Turns out it's specific servers you can't connect to. Currently validating now, will update OP accordingly. Alright, so everything is in working order, could I get a mod to close/lock the topic? I'll ask somewhere else as to why validation in arma takes so long.-

I dunno, have a moving marker with a set of defined parameters surrounding it? You're gonna need to use some script for that to work properly.

I wouldn't mind having a separate option to load in loadouts from different factions, similar to how we spawn in with a specific faction loadout.
