    Yes, that software good to make screenshots, but in long run I prefer old 1.58 picture. Btw, I don't know how to describe the problem with 1.60. But I cannot balance settings to get good "picture". Looks like some objects are too bright/saturated. Settings changes the whole balance and couldn't fix that. The colours are unbalanced between objects/terrain/sky/etc.

    I don't like visual update. It is too bright and oversaturated. You changed RGB balance, that really make my eyes cry.

    Thank you for your feedback. I am tired of Arma 3. Game and modding takes too much time. That is a headache to solve problems with Arma and mods updates.

    Changes in version 1.1: - fixed event handlers work; - removed forced wind settings (issues); - added ability to turn on/off auto trim on key press (SPACE by default, check CBA keybindings to change); - added more stringtable entries; For now mod forces: stress damage - enabled; auto trim - disabled on every "get in" action.   9. Was it really freds malloc or any other malloc except tbb4malloc_bi? I have strong feeling that BI tries different ways to move away from that kind of optimisation and that is pity.
  10. False. It is possible to add presets as stated above, for example: Preset 1 - Old settings (1.56) Preset 2 - New settings (dev branch settings) Preset 3 - ... Preset 4 - ... ... Preset N - ... That make things easier for novice players. Add advanced options like Greenfist ReColor mod for advanced players. Everyone will be happy.
  11. Actually, it was a constructive feedback (but please you should stay constructive too there are too many spam in thread). Make color changes optional as free DLC. That will give more options and full server compatibility (MP keys). Something like Greenfist's mod. Or just implement Greenfist's mod into the game with additional option to load presets (old one by default, new one as secondary, etc.). There is no need to force players, make things optional.

  13. Are lighting actually changed? Looks like devs changed and forced some postprocessing effects and that is all. If so, may you make them as separate PBO (free DLC, maybe) and not force people to use it? I don't like chnaged effects (water is fine, probably, it may be even better with old postprocessing settings).
  14. There are two requests: 1. Provide lockless memory allocator with other DLL's. Why not? There are several malloc's distributed with game and lockless 2. Repeat fred41's modification for latest version of TBBmalloc. I am noob in that field but can say that Fred41's malloc still the best in performance, hope that his tweaks will give even more FPS with new TBBmalloc version.

    Partly agree. Zoom is not realistic too. In case of reality you should use that mod and change FOV in cfg file to your monitor specific. Otherwise both situations are unrealistic. Also you can play without maginification optics or retexture it to specific FOV like in VTN mod. It is ok to play without zoom, the main problem - terrains.     You are right. To solve that problem all magnified scopes should be retextured. Nevertheless mod is playable in that state.

    The best solution is to change configs but you will have to do that for every weapon/vehicle. Maybe it is possible with scripting, but I don't know how.

  24. Thank you, Dwarden. I have tested your version of malloc and it is a pity but it worse than fred41 version with LP enabled. Hope that some day you release newest tbbmalloc with his changes. It is a pity that his work was made more than a year ago, gives better performance and still not implememted into the game. I didn't try his latest work (with changes made into arma3.exe) but LP works fine.
