    Yeah, exactly - whatever you say goes :D Hey, I got a thought - maybe you could do Firewill's AWS integration - it would probably save a lot of time, as he's got like a million weapons already modeled, has amazing GPS / laser targeting functions, and good ECM scripts and stuff. If you haven't messed around with it, you should - it's the best weapon package for aircraft in Arma, hands down.

    So I just did a little research... the MQ-25 is supposed to be changed from the stealth UAV to a multirole UAS, specializing in refueling other aircraft and doing secondary roles as a strike / recon aircraft, and reducibg the stealth requirements. Are you gonna reflect these changes? The refueling bit would be sweet, because then we wouldn't need to stick an AI tanker up in the sky, and could launch it from really small runways.

    According to MCRP 3-11-4A, the first roper will become airborne at 85 feet, or roughly 26 meters. Right now it looks more like 5-10 meters. Keep up the great work, this is awesome!

    Awesome! One suggestion, though - you should increase the height from the helicopter to the top guy. This way, you get more leeway for canopies and stuff, because for right now you almost need to land, negating the point. I have a USMC publication lying around somewhere that goes over the distances between each person and the bird, I'll post them up after some research!

    As an active duty infantryman, I can tell you that realistically nobody puts cammie paint on super thick, also like others are saying, it doesn't peel off. It does, however, smear and fade. Usual chain of events: LT gets motivated and tells everyone to cammie up Everyone does it because they have to Nobody reapplies until explicitly told to by name In all seriousness, some ways I cammie up - Put three diagonal black stripes, three green stripes, and 2 brown ones Viking inspired cammie paint (black / green stripe across eyes) Tactical Braveheart Warboy (witness meeee!)   18. Wow, nice release! Super stoked for the long-awaited IR chemlights (and all sorts of awesome chem-light goodies)! I was reading through the framework, and saw something about holding smoke grenades while they're going off... bad idea IRL. Smokes get super hot, like melt-your-glove-to-your-hand-hot. I hate to be that guy, but think of the REEEEALISM!!1! edit #2 just tried it, nevermind. you guys are one step ahead of me :> I do have a question though, regarding fatigue: does the weight of worn items affect stamina? I mentioned something about this on github a while back but I'm not sure if this made the cut into the advanced fatigue. Would be nice to add some reason for wearing soft covers, but I digress. Regardless, great work guys! EDIT: just saw you can play grenade-catch. you guys are awesome.
  19. Yeah, it just doesn't work for the snake eye (High drag) mk82's. Also, if you're moving around a lot before weapons release, the CCIP won't reflect the most recent changes. What works best is to get to about 450-550kmh @2000-3000 m altitude, come in from about 6km out, and once you start to approach go into a roughly -30 deg dive, get on target, drop and slowly pull out. The increased angle helps to negate any short/long misses. I've hit individual people directly like that :D

    Cockpit textures and custom sounds aren't vital - they're definitely nice polish, and they make things look/sound pretty, but you don't need to release with those. As for the ECM / EW ability with Pook's stuff, I think allowing others to give you feedback will help a lot!

Accordibg to the ever-trustworthy internet, the M261 is both the 19- shot tube and the Multipurpose Submunition Warhead... weird they'd name them the same. http://fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/missile/hydra-70.htm But regardless, awesome! The M/N really revolve around fragmentation (or the lack thereof for the -N), so it makes sense they wouldn't be in the base mod. Them tungsten darts would be great too, being able to take out baddies in a house without leveling the block :D I wonder if you could specifically load rockets in the tubes via a service menu - I know the FZA AH-64D can do that but it seems they use some strange black magic to accomplish that. Thanks for the reply though, we're all really looking forward to dispensing freedom in these bad boys!
  23. There's an issue with that right now, the next game update should have a built in laser designator, so Firewill said that should fix it.

    I think he means as more of an AI command, like getting on the radio and saying "Hey, turn on the jammer".
  25. Hey Firewill, would it be possible for you to make the action menu things not pop up in the middle of the screen? For example, if I'm using the jet and I put on the afterburner. the middle of the screen says "turn off afterburner" and gets in the way, and then you have to scroll all the way down to the bottom of the action menu to that empty selection to get it to go away. It's not game breaking, but since for now I'm flying with an Xbox controller, I have to take a hand off of it and scroll down on my mouse :( Could these things not come up on the middle of the screen, and just stay to the side?
