How about using Magpul CTR as the buttstock of the M4A5? It should be nice. Ask Sabre about that. He made a very nice M4 in ArmA 2 included in the mod named "Australian 2CDO & SOER" or something like that. I'm very pleased if you do all of them.

How to make AI land on top of it? I tried to tell them to 'dismount' but they won't comply. How?

I saw this mod a couple days ago and it's amazing. I saw in several pages back that some of them are speaking Russian and that is caused by the face camo. How to change the config so there will be nobody uses face camo? And the units classnames are quite many, but I don't know what classnames will look like in the game. Anyone mind to post the classname images? Because I haven't had the Arma 2 yet. Still working on it. I've gotten the Arma 3, but it doesn't have Afghanistan-like map. So, I consider to get the Arma 2 OA also. BTW, do you have plan on porting it to Arma 3? Also, how to detach the face wrap? I prefer not to use it
