  1. bingo!!! Bohemia Interactive, brilliant idea. Use real character gadgets as an indicator. For example, a life band? Just add a fatigue bar integrated into the watch, simple. So if someone is walking like a snail, can't aim, is breathing heavily, and has a throbbing screen, they can pull up their watch to see if their symptoms are everything else but fatigue! =P

    Slight piss takes but all actually good ideas. Considering the year /setting.

Hello, please note that I will completely review all animal animations and rework the configs to provide better feel of animal behavior (there is also possibility of little enrichment of animal animations as well). This is planned for 1.50 update because we want to be sure everything is polished and will not cause any other issues. Thanks for your feedback and patience.

    I have enough patience, seems you are putting some love into this. fair play. I will love starting up arma on 1.50 in the midst of battle see a dog or sheep in a glorious stride, then adjust my scope for the range.....

    Why, because I just felt like destroying something beautiful. :D


  4. This. Lol, but given it's a wet, island environment... You may be out of luck. Hehe, i wouldn't mind seeing cargo pants, jeans, stuff like that would be cool. All terrain, and amphibious civilian vehicles, a proper SUV, like a nice range rover or something.

    I wanna see rambo style bandanas. Shredded combat uniforms looking like wastecoats. Prorper jungle Gorilla Fighters


  5. AI can only see where you went through said brush. Meaning they will engage you through that bush, if they saw you go through it prior to engagement. I mean, it's only a bush. If i saw a guy run through a bush, i would unload in the bush... in fact, i've done this many times and got kills. =D

    Thats all good. It's more the ground vegetation I'd be concerned about. On altis crawling in it prone you are at a disadvantage vs AI. It's ofp landscape as far as AI is concerned you on the otherhand forced to go to your knee or stand up . This is a pain on altis. in a jungle setting, a nightmare.

    Hopefully the AI is also forced to go to its knees to shoot in such situations .

  6. Always loved the way BF3 sounds felt like they cackled with electricity but haven't played it in years. Actually changed some audio settings, and with Razer audio enabled and headphones, Arma starting to sound pretty damn good to me except those damn noisy snaps.

    Second the snaps. Don't know if they're repetitive annoying ie no variations or because it makes gun battles sound like everyone is using a silence weapon.

    I do realise the snaps might come into their own with other changes. just having trouble imaging how.


  7. Can we pleeeease get the AI action menu sorted already? It must be a very easy fix, just push all the "take xxx" to appear after all of the other commands. Right now you need to browse through multiple "take xxx" pages to get to the more frequent commands.

    Bahahah got me killed. Ended up saying take a bullet for me coz I'm dead now thanks to this.

    gonna start the campaign again when next patch hits boo yah. I feel it's gonna be a good patch don't you make a fool outta me bis.


  8. Yeah gun shots could be reduced a little so we could hear more ambient, reverbs, echoes and so on.

    But I can still hear the ambient and footsteps very well at lower volumes so I don't stand behind that.

    Gunshots etc are on the loud side gaming wise, .. balancing issues have been acknowledged by devs.

    But I'm with jimmy, I use a standard headset nothing special. I hear footsteps and ambient.

    Haha spoils it. Has been picked up by a few online media. Making some hype before e3.not a bad thing at all, fallout 4 done it. You spoiled nothing. actually may bring more people over to arma3 that otherwise might not have been aware bis were heading.

    Some of them have to do with Battleye... There is a battleye forum? Is it helpful (or infact distracting) to have these displayed in every forum?

    I resolved my issue, it was because i am retarded, but i stand by my complaint...

    I hope at the very least my superfluously ironic elucidation highlights the transparency of this conundrum.

    Ha to be honest, i have had to show a lot of Arma players... vets... how to do this. in fact none of them were even aware that there was such a thing. maybe a gentle reminder on the launcher, "hey wanna come see all the cool upcoming features , sounds , improvements and help with feedback ... come join on Dev branch. maybe a way to launch Dev branch from the arma launcher or place there clearer instructions for the average beer drinking man.


  11. They said it was going to be new, and something that hasn't been done as a Terrain officially before. This means it's either some jungle-ish map, which isn't too hard to believe given the way the tree's look on the countdown page (silhouette of the trees at least, don't look temperate or evergreen), or multiple pacific islands forming an Archipelago, and were only being shown one of a main, or many islands. Anything is still possible, but it won't be Middle Eastern (thank god), or a European nation. Nordic States are still questionable, but...

    Considering the camo faces recently added in marksman, I'd guess it is jungle.

    There are some major problems with proper alpha sorting

    Think you mean, due to the large number of misfire incident. command has issued new saftey regulations for engagement from aerial transport . Had a guy shoot out the instruments almost killed a whole squad. Till further notice No shooting behind the white line or distracting pilot. That's an order soldier.

    But on serious note, is there some plans of variations on walking animations ??? To make it look more natural?? Could it be?


  13. don't have time to track or search this, messing about earlier with remote designator. I could only get the remote designator to "lock turret" using left control and T, once another designator was set up too. if i tried doing this with only one remote designator set up, as soon as I released remote, the turret would spin to another position.

    anyone else used this maybe I'm doing wrong.

    in fact if I pack up the other remote designator, the locked turret uav one unlocks and spins.

    You got some nice answers for the community, and looking at the pictures have found your father dun dun dunnnn dramaaaa bomb. yes yes, you look like Dusa's love child ;).

    Difference between vanilla and dev branch. Pow. Got the throw some rgos use a gmg.

    Looking forward to the changes in explosive sounds of vehicle cannons.

    Bressie on dev branch use a gmg, and fluff it out to 1500 M. Hopefully the other vehicle round explosives etc get the same love.


  16. Think it would have been fair to just point out to op, its wip at the moment. Alot of stuff out of sync with sounds And is not the desired result so don't panic. This is from an overhaul of sounds bis is doing, and is just the foundation for a better sound overall.

    So soldier on.
