Not sure if anybody wondering where my update has gone. It's still coming, I took on another project to bring something else to the table here, an MV-22. I know, some of you thinking "but why another MV-22?" Because I don't like the other MV-22's and I'm a control freak haha. Also tons and tons of internal play testing in my unit. Next update you see will bring ton's of fix's and updates to the craft. And with all I've done, there is still lots more to do. Expect it's release the end of this month. Let's say the 27th. -
Thanks for making this! I've been wanting to get into re-texturing some of my ARMA 2 ports.

Bullets in ARMA 3 will always have drop to them compared to rockets which can be built to have no drop. -

Hmmmmm. I wonder if we can convert the shell base but I don't think that'll work. You very likely have to make it rocket based as it can have an engine to keep pushing it along at low speeds. It can still function like a rifle with the correct setup. -

I know for sure Rockets you can make them have no drop at all. Bullets on the other hand will always have drop to it, might be a script work around for it. What kind of bullet are you looking to config? Might be able to brainstorm some ideas on working around it. -

I'm currently in the process of updating my Zodiac CRRC - Assault Boat addon - http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?185194-Zodiac-CRRC-Assault-Boat by actually bringing over the Zodiac from ARMA 2. So far so good on it and I'm making improvements on it, however I cannot figure out this issue. When you destroy the boat, instead of ejecting the players out of it and keeping them alive in the water. It kills everyone on-board. I wasn't sure if this was a config issue or a model issue. I figured I'd start here. -

Nope no dice, AI/Players all still die when the boat is considered destroyed. @Warlord554 Not when it's a rubber boat, the current A3 Assault boats eject all players when they deflate. Currently, mine is not doing that and instead just kills everyone as soon as the boat is destroyed instead of forcing them to eject. I havn't been able to find anything config wise as to how to get that to happen, and I don't know if there is anything I'm supposed to set in the Model p3d itself. -

Pistol Sound Config not working

Try removing weaponSoundEffect = "DefaultHandgun"; As far as I can tell, BIS has removed it from all of their configs. That might do it, and I know you've likely done this already, but double check the pathing to where the sound is located. can't tell you how many times I've missed a simple detail like that. -
Restrict weapon fire if optic is not present?

Nothing to do with config, any weapon can be fired with or without an optic on as it currently stands in ARMA 3. Seems more like you'd want to create a script along the lines of "If X is not present, do not allow weapon to fire. If X is present, Fire." I know NOTHING about scripting though but I'd like to think that's the best line of possibility. -

As I learned the hard way, you'll need to go into every weapon you have and painstakingly set where the bipod memory point is to avoid players sinking into the ground. Pretty much, don't place the bipod memory point anywhere on the weapon. Place the point lined up where you'd like to see the weapon be rested/deployed from (Either in-built bipod, or if lack of bipod, where the rifle barrel will rest) and then you'll need to move that point down. Here's an example from my own work. Reference the Red Memory point dot.

DLC Helicopter Configs

You cannot access any DLC content as they are locked away behind EBO's for the time being. The only way to see what their config coding is like, is to open up the editor, place yourself in game, hit esc and click on config and find the helicopter you are looking for. -

Matt, I just made some pretty big overhauls to my AH-1 and UH-1 in configs and slightly to the p3d models. You'll see when I do my update on my USMC release. Let me know if you'd like the updates. Also yay winter camo!!! You're the best and my unit has been loving (most of them anyway) the the uniforms. -

Yeah, and I can finally help push out that AAV update that people have been asking ME for ever since I posted that video way back when lol. Although it looks like BI will be releasing support for non-wheeled vehicles to be amphibious. Guess we'll see. -

Sorry, the modeling / oxygen / p3d side of ARMA is one of the things I do find difficult to grasp. I know how to do very simple and basic things (Changing texture names, fixing proxies, adding memory points and other very minor things) I'm more of a config side of things guy. Like figuring out AFM and that kind of stuff. Not trying to be difficult I'm just confused I guess by what it is I'm supposed to do. Do the ARMA 2 AH1 and UH1's even have physx lods in them already? Is it something I need to add to them for ARMA 3? Guess I don't understand how I was able to make edits before and add memory points without this issue popping up, but I add one memory point recently and how it is happening. -

Ok I go to the geo LOD and select all that is there. I then change the mass value from 0 to 1. And then from 1 back to 0. Still getting the error. -
