On a LAN server it wouldn't work but after I ran it on my units server the mission worked perfectly. Pretty fun mission man, nice work!

Does Task Force Radio work on this? Seems like a cool mission.

Looking forward to these rifles. I used the 11 for two of my deployments and loved it.

Hell yes! I've been waiting for a bird like this to come out. Nice work man.

I've always liked the SURPAT uniforms. Nice work and thanks. my unit uses these guys a lot during ops.

Thank Odin! I was extremely upset when the update during beta turned the agile little helicopter into a dump truck with a rotor. Nice work!

Got my username from a buddy and game. After I got back from deployment I went to sniper school and when I rejoined my unit a good friend of mine had just got done playing Call Of Duty Ghosts. Supposedly one of the characters, Keegan, is a Marine Corps Scout Sniper. Me being a Marine and sniper he gave me the nickname after the character. Part of the reason was due to the fact that there were four guys in my platoon who had the same last name as me and I was tired of my previous nickname. When I was in Helmand my squad painted skulls on their FROG skin (Basically a fireproof tan balaclava) for night ops. Sadly I never got to wear it too much and it scared a lot of kids which sucked. (I should add that I never deployed as a sniper. On my three tours I deployed only as a designated marksman.) Not the coolest story/reason and to be honest I thought it was lame at first. Avatar is me in Helmand just right outside Marjah in 2011.

Aha...hahaha...AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Do a comparisson between the two photos, the Seals that went to the operation Red Wings, were carrying more gear on the vest than the guy of my previous picture...rest my case "What happend to the rangers in 93 in somalia due to this mentality ?"Do you not realize how hostile of an environment Ramadi and Baghdad are? When Marcus was there you were getting into contact for hours on end. Sometimes you have to carry all your gear out there with you because it would be too dangerous to resupply. Also, Most SF and SOF units are deeper inside the city past normal Line Companies. The nearest friendly unit could be miles away. Enough with the dick measuring contest, Dude.

Yes the Platecarriers in our pack will be featured in different colors - aka. the colors that are available for the specific system. You can expect a small range from Coyote, OD to Ranger Green up until specific patterns like MC or AOR 1/2 later down the road.drooling.jpg
Awesome possum. Cant wait.

Do you guys use battlebelts? I don't see any mag pouches on their vest or I'm just blind. I see one guy has his side arm like John Wayne on his chest. lol
Back on topic: I cant remember if it was addressed yet but will you gentlemen be making the plate carriers in different colors/patterns? (Coyote brown, Multicam etc)

Cunico, please consider making hiddenselections available for these masks as I would love to be able to make some custom masks. (I believe Mr. Keegan can guess what I'm on about)Yes! Brotha Scorch makes some pretty high quality addons. Get this man a beer too.

I had no clue the USMC was using SPC's now, I know the US Army still uses the IOTV now at Gen 3.Since 09. I'm on the left. My unit and a few others were doing the field testing for them in Helmand. I heard that guys were using them in Kajaki in 08 but I can't confirm that. The plate carriers were officially sent battalion wide late 09-early 10.

Ckrauslo-My country now is starting to use Armor to the soldiers and we are now receiving the interceptor body armor for the regular infantry and our special forces are using the PIG plate carrier and the Mar Ciras...you're 31st? "
If you're referring to the 31st MEU, No. I deployed to Helmand and Sangin along with 1/9 and I think 3/7 or 3/6 in preparation for the big operation in Marjah. That's when I was in 1/6 Bravo Co. I've been with 3/5 Lima for the last 2 years or so. My company just got done doing security for the medical convoys in the Phillipines after that bad storm a few months ago. So my guys were a supporting asset for the MEU but I was in Okinawa in the hospital.
Edit: Forgot the quote button and typos.

Looks like you Devil Dogs are getting the good shit now... a whole lot better than that crappy IBA I was sport'n back in Iraq.I joined in 06 and in SOI we were using the shitty ITV's or whatever they were called. Something Interceptor. The big ass flak jacket with broken ass MOLLE. Most of them were passed through circulation and were used in Baghdad previously. Funny how CIF cleared burnt PPE but still bitch you out for not having your black glove shells. I didn't get the MTV until I hit the fleet a few months after. In 1/6 we only used them for one deployment before being issued SPC's. I changed battalions and nearly everyone is using SPC's now. I haven't seen an MTV in a long ass time. Same with the interceptor. Thanks for your service brother.

AAF is based on the IMTV made by Point Blank Armor Systems here in my state of Florida. They are currently the USMC Standard and are "supposed" to be rated to stop no more than 3 7.62x39mm rounds to the trauma plate. Here is a link for you: http://pointblankenterprises.com/protectiveproductsenterprises/?product=imtv
I'm an active duty infantry Marine and we do not use MTV's anymore. We're using SPC's.

That V-25 looks really cool. Hopefully it doesn't rain hydraulic fluid on us grunts in the back like the current Osprey. ;) Nice work!

Okay, got it to work now. The dll's were in the wrong folder in the new download.

I've literally tried everything right now and I still get this API error. No idea what is going on. If someone could pm me an easy solution/step by step I'd greatly appreciate it. So far I have tried everything you fella's have suggested and still no joy.
-
I'm new to TFR. Like someone said above, The new TS update is messing with the plugin. I have the new version of TFR and it still gives me the API error.

Job well done good chap, lets grab some shots when I get home

Too bad we wont get the tactical SFASOFUWTFTW (SpecialForcesAndSpecialOperationsForcesUseWhateverTheFreakTheyWant) backpacks with this mod. I really wanted to be able to spot out a Ranger with his millions of morale patches hinting at him being SOF capable from a mile away, as well as the million pouches hanging off it.
I'm being sarcastic. And a douche. I do agree though, Instead of being condescending with your response about backpacks not being added you could have just said something like "Backpacks are not planned at the moment, Perhaps in a future update." Or something along those lines. Not everyone on this website is a barrel chested hadji slayer. People have feelings.
Edit: Quote button is broken. hoopty doop
Back on topic: Are there going to be different versions of the platecarriers? (some with flex cuffs and bolt cutters, others with banger pouches on the back panel etc)?

My nipples harden at the sight of these eyepro.
I'm err. Excited. That's what I meant. Yeah. Good work brotha!

in ARMA 3 - ADDONS & MODS: DISCUSSION

When I was in Helmand my platoon and I trained a lot of these guys. Some pretty solid dudes considering their lesser cousins are like bags of smashed ass. I've got plenty of pictures from deployment so let me know if you need them as a reference.
