    Will this look to implement AI medic auto healing? Also with the radio enemy ai feature , do you get all the ai on the map converging onto your position? Cheers

    thanks froggy for a polite answer.. Would you agree bcombat is better than ASR? Is there any mods that support AI medic and auto healing, the ones i read (ASR combat etc) dont seem to have this feature. Am i missing anything ? Thanks again froggy. P.S I was asking for peoples opinion. I love it when people have so many opinions on any other thread but when you ask for it you get trashed like above.

    all im asking is maybe a experienced user of all or most AI mods to come forward and give his/her opinions on their favourite mod and why... Cmon guys its a simple question.. Im using ASR at the moment am I missing out on a better mod? ex; fire fight, bcombat. group link etc etc
  4. Hiya guys. Ive just made the crossover to A3 from 2, and im loving it so far, great improvement. But im in that process (everyone knows ) of setting up gfx. In arma 2 i believe there was a best "minimal" distance it was best to set the visibility range, due to scopes and stuff (1600 i think) is there a best minimal range for A3, i have around 2800, but im only getting around 40-45 (50 good area) on showcase infantry. But on the Nato base showcase level im in at around 30fps (in the base). Im running x8 fsaa as it doesnt seem to affect my fps with it off and full smaa or fxaa instead . Visibility is the obvious killer for me and wondering what is a needed value. Ive noticed a few Texture mods at mid range released, wont this help me with FPS and create better looking hills etc?   9. Hello im new to A3, and im ust trying to find a good visibility setting. This i think will help as sometimes on aournd 2000 you get some ugly distance hills etc.. WIll this do the trick.. DOes this add any FPS as well? WIll the different versions heavily differ in FPS.? cheers
  10. i must admit.. ive used this a bit in SP and this is the best mod out there, that actually feels like arma should be. Now captives follow you AI get in vehicles straight away, gunners aim and fire themselves. This and the few mods above, will get your arma game up n running to a much better experience in my view.. Cheers for the creators of this and all the mods, listed. :)

    Hello Ive been playing arma 2 for a while now, although i dont go online I've modded my SP campaign with a few AI mods etc. I do like it and its does have some absolute memorable moments, but then mostly followed by some wtf ai trigger scrpit moment! Im interested in A3 but some questions i would like answered? * driving flying....is it easier now? especially with helos? * Ai although ill probably use ASR (like a2) is it better? * Command menu and commanding in general... is it better? Is it worth 20£ although im still playing thru A2s dlc campaigns. cheers
  12. i just added this to me mod folders, and ran the mod like the others.. have i actually got this mod enabled now? or aim i imagining its better,? i do get the markers on map, and the code initialising at the beginning? im sure its running?! also is there anything gl4 doesnt do that say zeus and asr do?
  13. i must admit and no disrepect other mod creators. But ive tried all the big AI mods, Zeus & ASR. I stumbled on this one hearing lots about GL4 but not really wanted to jump ship, mainly thinking the claims were going to be no different from other mods. BUT... having tried gl4 in campaign mode. (1st czeck mission) it works wonders for AI!!! YOur team actually get straight into a vehicle with this mod, no more running around and around then finally getting in car.. This with a sprinkle of other mods.. -nvg googles (full screen) -copy my stance -STHUD -Mycontrolmenu -SLX wounds -CarsfasterPVP -AI pistol -allgunnerweapons and i have a great arma modded game. Feels like it works like arma should... ill try further to see if campaign triggers/scripts are broken, but i like the way gl4 randomised the targets. I did have to turn off reinforcements as you do get the whole map worth of enemies come and get you. BUt now the Ai seem/are clever, they actually take cover and stick with you in formations and patrolling. This does seem different to the other mods, im not entirely sure why, but somethings is better.. dan
  14. I know theres lots to choose and I've picked some main ones. I'm interested to see how many people use what one, I've tried a few only on campaign mode, and wondering what one is the best. I know some are customisable and some are inherited in other ones,but its just out of interest mainly. if you want to post your mod additions to the main ones, please feel free. cheers

    Ah i noticed that wasn't in cowar axons why is this, isn't that needed for fixed healing or cowar has another healing system.. If i add will that cause conflicts? cheers G

    unfortunatly its not, i had a mission where i shot a car with injured VIP person in and i couldn't get him out, to heal him or any other bodies to use car, by the normal unload, command. (was in coslx) not in cowar.

    Why are much more people playing Arma 2?

    i speak for myself but i take it could be a general feeling among people.. I have A2 and played it religiously lately.. Im a SP player but use COWAR mod, which i think makes the game as good as its gonna get, unless go online. Meanwhile ive been searching for a cheaper price than £30, i think A3 isnt worth the £30 atm, its still fundamentally broken and suffers from what a2 suffers today. Although some things are modded and fixed in a2 im not sure in a3 they have, as its not shared the same course of time for mods or R&D. IM interested dont get me wrong.... but im not jumping ship yet, since A2 and 3 are fundamentally the same game with updated gfx/optimisation. and the same problems.?! £10-15 maybe be a defo buy, anything over , not worth imo YET / p.s are they really weapons and vehicles of today.. i thought the game was based in 2030?
  21. Guys is there any mods to make flying a helo easier with a mouse and KB.. Im not thinking of getting a stick so any ideas would be cool.. I have trouble keeping height and controlling and firing all at same time. cheers
  22. hmm i think its more that the AI gunner doesnt fire upon targets ... ive got the flying now... took me ages to do the helo mission on AO lol

    it does seem they are on their way to fixing a lot of issues still apparent in A3.. .but is the Ai being looked at? and some of the most annoying ai vehicle commanding ever seen in a game?! getting captives to follow you and get into a vehicle with you etc etc

    ive just stuck this on and am impressed as i used coslx and adds many small improvements that are important.... vehicle ai tweaks mainly. Having played arma 2 lots recently finished A2 OA campaign im starting to appreciate the "more complete' mod. But gunther, the action menu doesnt contain "unload people" so you can't empty dead people from vehicles. Can this be altered back into cowar? also agree with your anim mod read me, the lite version is less intrusive :) cheers @CHris that Kai looks good i dont understand why u dont release it for us SP players?
