    Hello, In KoTH I have that problem too, what I do is: Change to Normal flight model, and go to repair pad, after 100% repaired then I change again to AFM.

    Hello, some weeks ago I was thinking about buying the TrackIr5 (i'm still with that idea) but this awesome "controller" is not going to give me more FPS, and this is my main problem with Arma 3 so I prefer waiting a little bit and first upgrading something in my hardware. I have a powerful PC, not the best, but Arma hates it xD I've got an i5-3570k 4.2Ghz, 8Gb, A3 installed in 250Gb SSD and a AMD R9 290 4Gb 1100Mhz/1350Mhz. With all that it is still not going well, I've got low FPS mainly in MP, but I lose too much FPS. Usually I have like 20-30Fps (acceptable) but a lot of times I have drops to 8-12Fps and I always had that, but now I'm playing a lot mp and it's annoying. I usually play: King of The Hill, Conquer and Annex and simulation missions with the clan (a lot of addons) but the most performance problems are in Koth and Conquer and Annex. I don't know what to upgrade, CPU or GPU because my CPU at 4.2Ghz it's working well and my GPU is from the last year. Some people told me that the problem in my PC is the AMD GPU, they say to me that with Nvidia GPU it'd working better. But I prefer changing to a more powerful CPU before changing my R9 290. What shall I do?

    Not anymore, in KoTH it automatically set the distance to 1500 inf and 2000 air I think, and in Conquer and Annex I have it very low I think 1500 (in server settings)

    Hello again, so the main thing is to let my PC like this and just buy TrackIr5? I have to say that when I said to change the CPU i was knowing that I would have to buy another MB and new Ram. So for that I'm going to wait to see what brings the i7-7xxx generation (that I don't know the name xD) and then I'll buy a nice 200€ MB and 16Gb of ram, and for the GPU I was thinking to wait for the Artic Island series of AMD, but my friend continues to say to me that the game runs A LOT better with Nvidia :huh: A weird thing of the game, is: if a put the settings almost all the the lower and then almost all to the higher (don't say anything about sampling, that just kill your pc) is almost the same FPS.   5. Hello, I'm an addicted player of Arma 3, mostly on helicopters...(<3 AFM) I play also on DCS and X-Plane and I have a question that I think here is the best place to resolve my question. I have pedals, throttle quadrant and a Joystick, fine for Helicopter and Airplane simulation but there is a thing missing here... but I don't know what to buy (or wait????): What I should do? Buy TrackIr 5, or wait for the Oculus Rift Non DK version? I have time, so I'm not in a hurry to get one of these. But I don't know because for simulation some people say that OR is not fine because you can't see instruments but I have heard that with OR you can see better the "distance perspective" or I don't know how to explain this... so if you see an object at 20 meters, it's like you really see that object at 20 meters but how I said I don't know all that. And a thing like that for flying helicopters is very immersive and cool. For what Games/Simulators I need this? Assetto Corsa, City Car Driving, X-plane, Arma, Take on Helicopters, DCS and if is OR a lot more of games. Sorry for any incorrect spelling. :) Cheers.
  6. Thanks for the answers, I think I will buy TracKIR. I think It's too soon for VR and there are more than only OR so for now I'll be fine just with TrackIR 5. But the idea of virtual reality stills, it seems very promising in some time. :D @MarkDennehy I know how it works but the problem was "Only head tracking, or Virtual reality?" but still thanks for the reply. :)

    Suddenly Low Fps After Coming Back To Arma

    I have the same thing... i5-3570k OC 4.2Ghz 8Gb RAM R9 290 4Gb 1100/1350Mhz Windows 8.1 Pro 64Bits and I get like 15-20 in for example king of the hill while flying with all at standard(same as low and Ultra e.e) and wiew distance 1km, with drops to 7-8Fps. Other servers like conquer and annex with 20 people in the game I get like 20-30fps. :/ Any tips/advice for some performance? :c

Hello, I'm doing a mission where logistics are important, I use the "R3F Logistics" "objects moved by player", but I would like a script that when I put for example an ammo box in a container, it appears an option to attach this ammo box to the container where the ammo box is placed; like that I can move the container with a lot of ammo boxes in, or something like that. Is that possible please?
  9. Hello, I would like to start in this beautiful world of modding, but I don't know how; I have tried some times to do something but I don't know how to configure the mod (config.cpp). It would be awesome if you could give me some tutorials, or some help with the config.cpp. I'm interested on ships or heli/jet modding. I'm a noob in scripting, I'm starting to understand some scripts (for missions) but I don't know a lot; I have little experience with blender, but I could learn this easily there are a lot tutorial of blender out there.

    ATLAS Mod: LHD Plus

    Class Wasp is an LHD that only supports F-35 or Harrier II Vertical/Short Take-Off and Landing (V/STOL) jets.
  12. Markers have Z coordinate, because if you put a marker named Respawn_west and in your init.sqf you put that: "Respawn_west" setMarkerPosLocal [markerPos "Respawn_west" select 0, markerPos "Respawn_west" select 1, 17]; You'll respawn at 17m.

Hello, I'm trying to make a scenario where the missions are "random", example: You select in a computer (via addaction) "missions" and this addaction executes a .sqf called "Objectives.sqf" and this .sqf executes randomly a trigger that creates a mission.   15. How I didn't think about that before?:rolleyes: Ok, but I think it's better to create a trigger in the random mission, when this trigger's condition (condition like "!alive o1") is met, then []execVM "file.sqf" and mission completed.Is that good?

I have tried it and it worked well, but when I finished the first (random) mission, it didn't show another one, so I think I need a script like: if (missions<1) then _mission_array = ["tasks\task1.sqf","tasks\task2.sqf","tasks\task3.s qf"] call BIS_fnc_selectRandom; or something like that, but I don't know how to do it, I'm pretty noob at scripting. :( And any help to spawn things from a script?

  18. ok, so if I use a variable only in one script I can use "_variable", but if I have to use a variable in a script and in the game or another script no "_". Anything about the first script? Thanks again for the help

  20. thanks for the help. Ok, I'll do it by creating the mission from the script. I've seen that, but I don't know how to do it, I know I've to put something in the condition of the trigger, and then turn the variable true from the script. But how?
  21. But the thing is: I've a create task module in editor, and a trigger waiting to be activated to create the task so what I want is a script that can activate the trigger, but I don't know how. thanks for trying to help me. :)

    help with groups.

    Hi, I'm making a mission, but I have an issue and I was wondering if someone could help me. The problem is that I've set some groups, with the module of "set call sign" and all that, but when I go to the screen to select a player they are all unorganized and I want to know how I can organize that? Thanks.
