  1. Speaking of birds, As you guys know I'm a pilgrimage fan. That being said, the crows around dead bodies doesn't work after a saved game. I don't know if that's the problem with other missions. ...And yes @TPW, We'll take what you give us. 🤣 Selfishly!

Hope you're well Just to expand a bit to the previous post I to am experiencing a bit of a bug using the same setup (TPW/CBA) and if I hop off a rock or a somewhat elevated perch or climb over a wall, I flip to first person from third person. ...one other is that the crows around dead bodies doesn't work after loading a save game. I can't remember if it ever did TBO. Maybe that's something that can't work the same after a reload as it did prior to saving the game. Thanks!

    Pilgrimage - Ported

    @FlatDarkSpaceI'm also very interested in a CamLao Nam port.  so I assume you’re looking for some type of jungle warfare similar to that of Vietnam or Cambodia. you might try one of the links in my signature for either single player or co-op. They’re not perfect but they work quite well.

    smoke particles fail

    ...so I've been looking around a bit for this issue that I've had for some time now. I resume a mission say, and my smoke effects don't work, not always but randomly. Quit the game and restart generally fixes it. Today however I've restarted a number of times and I cannot get the smoke to appear. I do run a number of mods so I'll post them later.

    Still not a fix though. Thing is they say it's not worth their time anymore implying Arma 3 is getting old I guess. I get they are working on new projects but I still see on average 10,000 people still playing. Arma may be old it's still being played!!! Bug fixes have been shelved for nearly 5 years already which pisses me off, not to mention they find time to make some lame terrains. Not sorry for the rant but imo, priorities (player support) seems to have been slid behind the $'s at times. I get it's a business (you have bills to pay) but we are customers after all and without us BI couldn't exist.

  8. You can enable/disable parts of the mod in the Arma in game config settings if you subscribed to Steam or in the .hpp file if you installed it manually. Just check or uncheck what you want to use. You can even adjust the intensity of some of the settings. As far as conflicts with your mission, I dewn't knew.

    ...3080Ti = no issues So I ran into this problem a long time ago. ...when you create a box, remove a box, repair your vehicle, lock a vehicle, it can take anywhere from 2 to 4 seconds to react. I've been using these mods for a long time without a problem. Does anyone remember this?   18. So I have been asked about three mods that I have required in order to play a mission. These mods are no longer available (Armaholic). I am thinking I would like to include the mods in a folder along with my mission but I want to know if I am allowed to do such a thing. The authors may not be available could be a problem. Thanks

    uploading obsolete mods permissions

    Thank you both for your insights, much appreciated. ...it doesn't take long for the weeds to grow high and thick on such matters. ...I will first attempt to contact the authors for starters. EDIT So the only mod that is in question is one called "Eden Objects". Here is how I understand it. Someone simply pulled "hidden" or "unavailable objects" from the Editor and made them available as placable objects. So I think the original author is actually BI. If that is true then I shold be ok so just include the folder inside the mission for users to point to in their launcher.
  22. I was just bored and rumaging through the forums. ...on topic, in the past when ever I ran into this error it was usually due to a CPU overclock and the need for a tad more voltage. ...maybe not here however but if your issue persists, then maybe.
