If I may make a suggesstion to either BI or a talented modder. Make a separate option in game settings to adjust 1) fatigue............................................Slide Control/scale 2) stamina...........................................Slide Control/scale 3) Weapon Sway.................................Slide Control/scale 4) Breathing Sound Effects. ...............On/Off To be fair, these settings would also affect AI and/or Players on a given server. This is deffinately one of those times when I wished I was capable of understanding the coding needed to work on mods.

Totaly agree In addition,....I am just standing, perfectly still and every 5 seconds I let out a gasp or huffy breath. Much to audible. -
I apologize. That was really stupid of me. I do have the RHS mod installed but I thought it consisted of only uniforms, weapon, and objects, not aircraft. I promise to research my issues a bit more before running to the forums.

I'll try to capture again on my next session Edit: I just researched the "no sound" issue I reported earlier. Updated findings are 1) I have sound if I switch from Rifle to handgun and vice versa. 2) I do not have sound switching from binoculars to weapon and vice versa. https://youtu.be/IB0lyXa0XOU As to which version I have, all I can submit is that your files are dated 11/2 and 11/7 in the "Addons" folder. Wish I could be more accurate. Accumulating quite a number of mods so I have decided to insert release information in a more reliable way on my PC so that I can spit that out in situations like this.

Mr. Jarhead Reading through miles of posts I know you are a stickler for perfection. Therefore my observations are veeeeeery gently laid on your desk for you to review. I don't know what type of helicopter it is that has the sound of a Turbo Model T. This is the best way I can describe it. Aplogies if this has been reported earlier. I have a short clip if needed when I get a few minutes. I also noticed there is no sond assiciated with,...say switching from Katiba to pistol or vice versa. Example, soft clothing swish sound. Hey Mr Benson My buddy tried this mod but cannot get it to work. He says that the "esc" "your key bindings", at least for the climb function is blank. Thoughts?

LOL Yup. reminds me about a deal I had with a car dealer long ago. Three days later the as i drove over a set of RR tracks, all the bondo fell out of the door panels. Water spray from the road was getting the back seat wet! WTF?

@Ineptaphid I just started using RHS mod in SP on Lingor. If I understand the RHS mods correctely there are two parts. U.S and Russian packs. I am using the U.S pack and it works ok so far.

...hmm I thought it was just me. I am getting intermitent fails when I switch, perticularily from the scroll menu. For example I might have an RPG on my shoulder but if I quickly change using my "use" key I will go prone as well. Another example is when I approach a climbable object I hit my, (in my case) "V" key and my charactor calmly puts his weapon away, takes a knee, stands up, and then proceeds to climb over. These player actions don't happen all the time but randomly. PS: I convinced my buddy to add EM to his mods but when he clicks to add his "use" key, the area is blank. I just wanted to add this quickly but when we get more time we'll elaborate with SS's.

I think I had this issue long ago but cannot remember what the fix, if nay was. When I get killed and have to reload a "save game", the markings on the scope (ARCO) are missing. The shaded area outside the scoped view is still there but the scope lens is perfectley clear. I apologize for posting, if this is in fact buried in this thread.

...I was causing trouble in Pyrgos one day with my trusty Katiba GL. Shot off four GL rounds but only "heard" one of them explode. I don't see any other reports so it could be at my end. I'll double check in Editor when I get a minute. Just a heads up in case annyone can post results.

As I get better at playing I am slowly removing the visual aids that I used to depend on to keep the enemy at bay. For example I used to use the information from TPW hud (lower right corner of the display) to allert me of any danger. There is also the text display that is visible over the enemy/freindlies/vehicles and so on. I have since removed all of the text at the lower right corner and reduced the enemy range distance to 250m. Here's my question/request. I want to be able to remove the Orange text over the enemy altogether and replace the text/icon to a small exclamation point positioned about 5 feet above the heads of the enemy. Since I already know the enemy is 250m or less, I am scrambling to find cover but I just want to keep tabs by following that small marker I'm looking to add. Can anyone show me how that could be done? Post edit This question is for Gliptal,.... I use the Arma 3 Launcher. I also have a few saved favorites in the TPW UI. My question is, would it be possible to link a "mods" profile, to one the saved profiles in TPW. I always forget to set my TPW settings first depending on which mission I might play. I play either SP or coop and as you know some of TPW's settings don't play well based on which type of mission you start. Thanks!- 5767 replies

There are multiple options to choose from and I'm not sure what is correct for me. If I play single player is my best option JSRS3 V2? If so, I then I see a SP v2.01 which would make it JSRS3 V2.01. With this option I then have a part B question. After downloading both JSRS3 V2 and JSRS3 V2.01 should I,... 1) Merge them together (some files are then overwritten) or, 2) Activate them both independantly in my Arma 3 Launcher? Secondly, If I play coop with one other person should I use the same option as above or should my coop partner (who is serving) run the sound mod. If he runs the mod do I hear the new sounds from his PC or do I still need to run JSRS on my PC? Apologies for stumbling through my brain while I try to ask a complicated question.

I sure don't know much about how these mods work but I'll try to point you in the direction I think you might have to go, but first I have to ask, do you run ACE as well as TPW? If you are, then it might be that the two are competing for a place in your game. Like I said I might be way off so go easy. 1) The TPW_ANIMSPEED part of your error, might have to do with how your ingame charactor walks, i.e: walk, jog, run, etc. I think ACE has that tweaked and so does TPW. You might have to choose which mod you want to handle this. The only issue is, TPW's UI (made by Gliptal) is greyed out for me but you might be able to open a config file a change it there. 2) The bleedout, selfheal might be wonky because of similar issues I pointed out above. I think both mods that we are talking about provide their own version and thus only one can be active. Hope I explained it well enough for you fix it.- 5767 replies

I was thinking about something similar, that is, change the factions to Middle Eastern rebels and African rebels for the Lingor map. ...and speaking of the Middle East... @Ryd', do you know if the mod JBAD Building should be used if we are playing on the Lingor map? I haven't found anything that says we have to, but I noticed other similar terrains such as Fallujah require it for best results.

I think I understand your issue. ...here's what I did... Unbind your BI Arma default, "V" key which is step over and then rebind it in EM. It seems to me that the "B" key is a little bit far away, especially if you find yourself in a firefight and want to make a quick get away. :P

Can't use "configure" option in preview mission within editor?

Right click your steam exe and select library. right click Arma and select properties. Click on the local files tab, and click on verify game cache,..be sure Arma is not running.
