  2. Very nice Burnes and armaholic for the sneak preview. Loving the twin Generals on top cover. Doesn't make them rolling death platforms like GMG vehicles but does mean they are great for a bit of overwatch and support fire for the dismounted bods. Eagerly awaiting these bad boys :D
  3. Hello all. I'm having some trouble with my model and the placement of the IR laser. I've been using Alwarrens A2 to A3 guide (amongst other posts here) and I've encountered something I just can't work out. I've got pretty much everything working except the proxy for the pointer is upside down so I've had to mount it to the left hand RIS rail. How do I make the proxy rotate 180 through the horizontal so that the IR pointer can be mounted on the right hand side? It's probably something incredibly simple but I'm just a bit thick and totally missing it ;) Many thankings in advance

    Sir! You are a scholar and a gentleman :D I think my probs was having muzzleflashRot instead of zaslehRot. I went old school with the selection naming and missed the connection with that one.     Thank you both very much :) I've been trying to work that one out for a while now :D I've pretty much just got the rotating muzzle flash to work out and it should be in a releasable state. Thanks again for the swift answers and help.

    Arctic Fox Defense Solutions: FOB Deployment Specialist

    Oh very nice mate :) Some very swish looking FOB'S in the near future. Any chance of a nice CnC/TOC style one with monitors and comms equipment? Just as annoying as bottomless ammo crates are the super PRR's that the world communicates over. And as in A3 there's no miltary radio set object, to fill out those command centre's. Just some crappy 80's satphone. Doesn't need to do anything more than look like it can send a message across the globe if need be. :D Are they going to be covered with cam netting or just plain conntainers? Looking forward to seeing some textures on them.

    Weapon Resting & Deployment Feedback

    I must say I'm totally loving the weapon resting and bipods. Just tried the bipods tonight and very impressed with the results. Very fluid and quite quick to become a 2nd nature thing you're hardly aware of.

    ASDG - Mk. V SOC (WIP)

    How about something small and covert? I've always wanted a klepper kayak/canoe for those shakey boat squad style insertions in arma. With the new underwater features a swimmer/canoeist SF style boat would be cool. That and some enemy shipping to destroy :D I tried to model one but it looked terrible :) more tin bath than sea going craft. Loving the ASDG and can't wait to give it a blast on the water.

Although I maybe barking up the wrong tree as I'm just getting to grips with simple configs and even those...:D I hope this helps you out and I'd love to see a visible green lazer. Great for pointing out things when the usual "half right 300m" is failing and you don't want to put rounds down. Edit... Excuse my ignorance if this is totally wrong but would you not need a cfg vehicles too? I was looking through da12th's LDS config and his is very similar to yours but has the vehicle class too.     [WIP] UKSF uniforms retexture

    Looking very good Rob. I couldn't find a nice desert dpm texture I was happy with but yours looks bang on.     PLP BeachObjects

    Fantastic objects :) The surf club actually looks like surfers use it. And the boxes and vending machines, etc look great. Not enough objects like these available to mission builders for filling out the mission area and making it feel more lived in. I thank you and will D/L it immediatly :D

    Special Forces Mods?

    I'm working on something along those lines for UK special forces for my campaign story that could fit your needs. As that's as far as my skills go, so no modelling of anything :D In a similar vain to Niko's US pack and Teriyaki's uniform pack but with a more british flavour to the camo patterns. There will be a mixture of desert and woodland styles with some solid colours too. (OG, Tan, Etc.) And some like the desert multicam in the pictures that are more ficticious. In both nato and indep uniform styles. Not sure on what if any weapons they would get. I like them unarmed so I can add mission specifics easier without the need to strip them first It's still needing some work done to the textures and then ugh! The config work. :butbut: Which is where everything slows down :D but most of the legwork is done just the tidying up and squaring away where the visuals are concerned.

    Excellent work Eggi. It's just a shame we can't walk on the rear deck when it's staionary. It would make a very good diving platform.

    British Ridgback PPV

    Very nice Cleggy :) Small bug report for you. The windows offer very little protection from small arms fire. Those occupying the front seats are very vulnerable. Could maybe do with a little more toughness to overall armour and wheels too. Really liked the flat tire effect. It was still drivable enough with one flat and one severly damaged tyre, too extract ones arse out of contact. (very handy) Contrary to oO para Oo I thought the turning circle was decent enough for such a big armoured vehicle, was pretty easy to navigate through city streets with only the odd corner proving to be harder but not impossible to get round. More brit kit is always good :D

    ArmAGeddon

    Looks very promising indeed. Some of the effects are nothing short of brilliant. I especially loved the meteor breaking apart coming through the atmosphere, very very well done. Love the concept too I'll enjoy playing this immensely. Old school camera work too nice :)

    @A3MP - ArmA 3 Map Pack

    Alduric. I must say bloody fuckin marvellous! For me the lakes etc aren't black but do go through some interesting colours as you fly by (including blood red) and do stand out quite noticeably, I really like it though. The dash on the screen thing doesn't show up on takistan but does on cherno for some reason, maybe a clue in there why it is showing on certain maps and not others for the CBA guys to look into. And lastly a great big THANK YOU.
