I believe the above is part of a larger issue with the 2D to 3dD conversion process. In addition to this error (resulting in the death screen map top down view even with a player placed on the map) many scripts become non-functioning as well, most addActions are absent.

Unfortunately it can't be opened. I did compare my scripts with those in that file and they are nearly identical. The teleport.sqm was completely different but everything else remained the same. EDIT: But it did get me thinking that because everything was the same, another issue might be to blame. Again, everything worked previously so I assume (and I just verified) it is not an issue with mods or with my implementation of anything. I went through, created a brand new mission fresh in eden and threw all the scripts in. Low and behold, they function. Yet they don't function on the mission I am trying to fix. The culprit is none other than the BI 2D to 3D Editor conversion process. That is the only logical answer. -

Wow, someone can't read! Blame whatever forum topics I learned how to do all this in! :) because they worked for a very long time and now they don't! If anyone wants to be helpful, I still can't seem to figure out how to get the teleport or VVS script to work again! -

This hasn't been fixed yet... I'm working on importing a training map last updated just before Eden came out and I've got several scripts (I'll post them below) that simply don't work anymore Can anyone give some insight into how to get these scripts functioning again? (EDIT: figured out how to perform this natively in Eden... still doesn't make sense for it not to work) This should add VA to the object but it doesn't this addaction ["Open Virtual Arsenal",{ ["Open",true] call BIS_fnc_arsenal; }]; This should throw up a simple interface called VVS (Virtual Vehicle Spawner) (yes all other files are included) this addAction["Spawn Armored",VVS_fnc_openVVS,["VVS3ARMOR","Armored"]]; this setunitpos "up"; this enablesimulation false; This should allow scroll menu teleportation from object to marker (everything is set up properly) this addAction ["Teleport - Airfield","teleport.sqf",["AP1"]]; All of these scripts functioned 100% prior to being put through Eden. -
Only way I know of to use something like teamviewer (have your arma set to windowed) and share your screen with your friend and have them walking you through things. Everything seems a little easier to do in eden as far as setting up units and such, I'm not so sure about mods yet though

I did. It still imports old 2D mission sqms in binary. It was also selected by default. If you want your mission sqms binarized you should have to dig for that setting.

Why in the world can't we edit the new 3d mission sqm? Why isn't it just normal text? Everything about Eden is great. Except that. Typical BI.

I was getting a similar error but now it isn't showing up as a configurable addon in the controls. Me thinks BI broke the mod with a recent update. I so want to use this mod!!! -

I'm so confused!!! haha I've had so many people tell me it wasn't possible and then my hopes and dreams seems to be dashed when you said it was because the wheels were blocks! Oh please let us use the ILS function in any aircraft, including helicopters! It would make me the happiest sloth who wears sunglasses in the world! -

There is no way no one has encountered this issue before. If you haven't and have lifter working on your missions on AiA TP maps then please speak up and help me work out what the issue is. This is the internet, I'm not the first and only person to have this issue. -

I can get lifter to function on any map I've tried except those found in the AiA Terrain Pack. I have very limited ability with scripting but I've opened up the lifter PBO in an attempt to figure out why this could be happening and have nothing to show for it. Works fine on Stratis and Altis though To test, just load up any AiA TP map (say sahrani or chenarus) place a huron down and a marshall IFV and see if you can get the Lift Vehicle option. I've search for several days to find the answer to this and I find it very hard to believe no one has had this issue or even noticed it. Can anyone give me a hand? -

Guess I'll bring this up again because it looks like it got buried XD We can make mods that cause zombies to crawl out of the ground and get dudes to slide down on ropes out of helicopters, but adding the MCC ILS option to helicopters is impossible because... wheels? That doesn't make a whole lot of sense honestly... especially when the MCC ILS isn't activated by wheels like it is in the USAF pack but by an ACE interaction... Can someone please enlighten me? -

Why must the ILS system be dependent on having moving wheels? (also not necessarily true, load up the AFM and you can ground taxi helicopters with wheels just like an airplane) -

So I'm setting up a nice little Halloween horror map for my group and I've run into a snag with triggers (I'm also slowly getting better at creating missions but new to it) All the ground triggers work as intended on the first try but I've got 2 that are suppose to be triggered for the players while they are riding in a C130 but they don't seem to be working. I've also tried linking the triggers to the C130 but no joy. Any advice? (The C130 is player controlled) -

Issue was solved thankfully but making the trigger range much wider. Apparently the aircraft wasn't triggering it because it would fly though it too quickly and the mission wouldn't register it! Thanks for the suggestion though! -

Why is the ILS module only linked to airplanes? Helicopters can fly ILS approaches too... I should know... I fly them all the time in helicopters for real... -

I'm completely surprised by my lack of find ANYTHING relating to my issue. I can state without a doubt that Lifter doesn't work on All in Arma TP maps at all. No idea why but I'd love a solution.

Can someone explain the Terrain Interception Coefficient to me? It's in the enforce module and the default is 7. What happens when you make this number go up and down?

UPDATE: 17SEPT2015 In the few short weeks we've been operating, VUSASOC's membership has exploded. We've increased our numbers by more than 400% and are continuing to grow every day. We operate our server 24/7 and keep our mods up to date so that all the members can get on when they please and conduct unscheduled missions with any other members online. We are gearing up for a major weekly operation, 1-2 training missions as well as a rotating Insurgency/Battlezone map for the times in-between for members to tackle. The best part?
