    Hey, I was thinking it would REALLY improve the immersion of this mod and make it much more realistic if the rebels spoke Arabic, along with the SAA. The voices can be fairly simply ported from Arma 2: OA, from what I understand. Kaelies has already done this successfully with the Russians and Czech speaking units of his mod, you could probably contact him for instruction if you don't know how to do it. Thanks!

    Hey Kaelies, so for the Marines, the light variant should be called Marine(light) instead of Soldier (light). Just a technical thing. It's improper to refer to Marines as soldiers. No worries though!

    Holy mother of...... OMG YOU ARE AWESOME!!! Literally the best sounding Arma gun I've ever heard. EVER. I solute you. As should every Arma gamer out there. Thank you for making Earth a better place to live. My life is complete now.

    Sorry, not trying to be overly demanding, but I really do think it would be helpful to have both a standard and an alternate version of the download for this mod. By that I mean to have the language addon pre-installed on the alternate download and the standard just normal. Improved vehicles did this with their vehicle/weapon renaming. This way you'll also be able to get both up on PlayWithSix. That would be wonderful :)
  9. I was having some trouble with my screen being EXTREMELY bright during the day, but I didn't want to post it on the webpage since I am not sure if I have everything set up right. I'm using AiA with AiA SA together in one SIX collection.

    Is the language bug associated with East vs West fixed? (Where all units except the Russians speak English) that's the only reason I don't want to get the mod... Also you should think about porting A2OA Arabic for your units :)

    Definitely agree on both issues, I don't like pixelated camo on vehicles (ie the AAF and CSAT's camos) but this one seems to work well. Would be cooler if it looked like it was stenciled and spray painted on :) ---------- Post added at 16:10 ---------- Previous post was at 16:06 ---------- One quick addition I'd really like is to have a "light" soldier variant, similar to the "militia" in Arma 2 CDF. These guys would be pretty basic, with just a plain patrol cap without an earpiece, no radio, 3-4 mags and an AKM. I would really like some variants of the headgear without earpieces, it would make my day :) :) :) ---------- Post added at 16:12 ---------- Previous post was at 16:10 ---------- The "light" guys would have no vest or backpack either. Just a plain uniform. All sides could have one, just as a very basic unit for smaller patrol scenarios.

  15. I think you guys should take the story to a mainland African country, make a savannah-like map. Nobody has done that yet. It would be amazing! Also are you guys planning on eventually recording Swedish voices for the units? And maybe porting the Russian ones for the Russians and (maybe) Arabic for the African units would be cool!

    Ohally, relax a bit, man! You can ignore people if they ask things that annoy you! Don't let it get to you. It's a great mod and a lot of people use Zeus, so they're asking about compatibility. Relax, it's a fair question. You already answered it, I understand, but just don't respond if people keep asking. No worries! It's all good.

    What I mean is to include 2 separate packs, one with the normal download and one that already has it installed and working, if that makes sense.
  21. We tried to use it on Zargabad and there was a ton of music playing at once. Even after we edited the config to turn off the music. No idea.

  23. Kaelies is making both the NAPA Guerillas, SZ Partisans (basically are probably going to look like Chedaki fighters), and TK Guerillas in his pack, so you're gonna be set for those factions once he adds them in.

    About NVgoggles and your post: That's pretty much it. As humans, it's easier to distinguish between shades of green light than it is other colors. By default, infrared cameras and goggles would be grey, but yeah the green is an extra filter. I did some reading and apparently this also allows NVGs to run at dimmer levels, saving battery life.
