    Hi Varanon. Just a quick question. I see if your adding tasks and briefings you need to add it in the init.sqf or within the mission through say a trigger. We are using a dedicated server and want to avoid using the init.sqf and rather the initServer.sqf and initPlayerLocal.sqf. Should the briefings & tasks go into which one of these? Am I correct that they just need to actually be launched fron initPlayerLocal? Just want to avoid having 3 different inits in my missions.

If your running the script, execute it as stated in the readme. If your running zeus, the mod or script must be run on the persons PC who is zeusing in addition to the server. Regards Twak

    Hi Revo Busy creating a mission on Tonoa. It seems that the random patrol is broken on the map or something. It creates one or two waypoints in the area specified and the rest waaaaay off at a more level area. Might be because its looking for a "safe" spot to place the wp? Also a small request if possible. Is it possible to only put these random markers on roads, in a certain area or avoid a certain area? Or are you just applying BIS_fnc_taskPatrol directly? Regardless, thanks for the awesome Mod Twak
  7. Hi Guys Just a question. We have been having an blood replenishment issue recently. We play with RHS, basic medical system. Basically when we give blood to replenish a persons blood level, no matter which blood bag we give, we cant seem to ever replenish the persons blood. (And yes they are completely bandaged) Wanted to know if its just us or someone else might have an issue as well. No rpt error from what we can see. Regards C

  9. Here is a little guide for those struggling with the Ace_sitting breaking your missions if you dont use Acex (or any other addon breaking your mission), this is how I "saved" my mission: NB!! First backup mission.sqm. I wont be held accountable for your mission if its broken. 1) Open your mission.sqm (if its binarized, use BIS tools or any other tool to unbinarize it). 2) Search for ace_sitting in your mission and delete them. There should be 2 instances in your mission: 3) Now here is the most important part. You need to rename all the Items from your ace_sitting Items to the end of the AddonsMetaData section. I recommend starting at the bottom of AddonsMetaData and just copying and pasting the the top ItemNr to the one below until you reach the ItemNr for ace_sitting ex: 4) The last step is then to go to the top of AddonsMetaData and decreasing the item nr by one ex. if item = 82 then change it to 81 ex: Save your mission and you should be able to edit it again. Hope this helps. It is VERY dangerous to edit your mission.sqm and would only suggest you try and do it if you cant remake your mission. Regards Twak

  11. Howsit Guys So on the ARES addon thread someone suggested adding a suppression function to ZEUS. Thus allowing the units to effectively suppress an area even if no enemy units are in the area. This will add whole new dynamic to Zeus since you no longer need to "Remote Control" units to suppress players. Does anyone know of some way to do this? I am no script-warrior and this is waaay above me but I thought if you could spawn a player friendly unit and let the enemy AI group engage it, it might give the effect of suppression since I dont think enemy AI can keep on engaging an area without enemy units present.   12. We have seen the best way to increase firefight length is to decrease ai accuracy while increasing AI skill. Also look into AI scripts such as VCOM AI, ASR_AI and pooters ASR_AI. Each has its own perks and cons so you will need to play around with it. There is quite a good BIS module which causes units to respawn in waves, cant remember it off the top of my head. With a little google I am sure you will be able to find it.

  14. I can also attest to this specific bug. Like Azza, we use additional channels and switching too fast between these two channels has caused it. Not game breaking by any means, we are just now more attend on waiting a couple of seconds before barking orders :)

  16. Hi Freghar We have been using FSF for ages but unfortunately since its no longer being maintained alot of errors has crept in. So with great relieve we have stumbled upon your mod. Was wondering if it is available on Steamworkshop, since that is now our goto repository? Thanks. C

    Not to go off topic too much but I suggest you go and try it again. You can create random group types and respawn them if you just add a trigger and one or two lines of code. Shouldnt be too difficult atleast.

    Just want to congratulate you on your newest release. Like I said in the post above, ff you ever decide to dabble in this, a very cool mod is T8 less dynamic ai creator to take some inspiration from. Thanks again R3vo. A real game changer.

    Hi blazenchamber Thanks for the awesome mod. Just one request, we run a Linux server and unfortunately doesnt accept uppercase file names. Is it possible that in the future you would please change all the bpo's and bisigns to lowercase. Its not a big issue, we do it manually afterwards but would save some time. Thanks regardless!! Twak

We have been using your mods quite extensively on our dedicated server but since the last patch we keep getting a huge amount of spam on our rpt file like this: Cannot create non-ai vehicle Achilles_Module_Base, 18:37:47 Cannot create object 3:12 with type[Entity], param[Achilles_Module_Base], NMT code[91]: 18:37:47 Cannot create object 3:13 with type[AIUnit], param[unit], NMT code[113]: 18:37:48 Client: Object 3:12 (type Type_93) not found. 18:37:48 Client: Object 3:12 (type Type_437) not found. 18:37:48 Client: Object 3:12 (type Type_439) not found. 18:37:48 Client: Object 3:13 (type Type_114) not found. 18:37:48 Client: Object 3:13 (type Type_115) not found. 18:37:48 Client: Object 3:12 (type Type_349) not found. Now we know only the GM needs ARES but could it be because either the server or some clients arent running it, it is causing this error? Cheers Twak
  22. Try adding this to your cmd line with which you launch your server: -par=startupparameter.txt 1>>"arma3server_$(date +%s).rpt" 2>>"arma3server_$(date +%s).rpt" You should then get a rpt. Looks a bit different than the normal one but works 100%
