  5. I was going to make a post around the same thoughts after I read the changelog. Shay I know you might not be happy with what people are going to say. I too won't be near anywhere happy if I have to drop MCC and switch to zeus or some other mission creator. With the last couple updates though I'm afraid that there might be a point, where getting rid of all the "new" MCC features will be tougher than learning zeus. When that day comes I'm either rolling back to the MANW version (if available) or I might even go back to the freaking editor and spend 6 hours before every play day.

  7. I know about that "invisible crate", assuming you're talking about weapon holders. Didn't know that ticket was so critical in the progress, I guess you can't pull a Jarhead and release it without it :(.

    I don't think that creates any bleeding or blood loss, though I last tried that method in '0.9.3' or '0.9.4'.

    ^That and the pictures look really compressed, they don't match up to how you tell us you see them in-game. Hard to judge the particles when you can't see any particles :D. Don't like to bash BI but Arma 3's lighting was never good any way, don't expect such a small detail to be addressed before dynamic lighting etc.

    I can help you with that insignia by the player ID thing, I have a similar system in my group for our moral patches. Though like Siege-A said there is no way you could create those insignias on fly.

    I'm I the only one thinking that this is a good thing? BI is giving the community what they want with a order, it's just taking a decade ;). They gave us content in A2, they're giving us features in A3, and after that we'll probably get performance with A4.
  17. You can save the buildings you made and the other things in 2 separate missions, then merge them together. "Merging" is a default option in the editor and hence the name, combines two mission together.
  18. Mine is about the afterburner sound, it takes some time for the afterburner sound to end after you turn it off.
  19. I have a question that's not only for shay_gman because I'm sure anybody can answer it. I don't know if I got rusty in mission making, but is there a way for me to make a chopper sling lift us with MCC? I can do it with scripting or simply by hijacking the pilot but I'm %100 sure that there is another easier way, like a waypoint or MCC option (which I couldn't find).
  20. Can't we also use an external application to fasten up calculations? I remember L_ES had a problem about that with the forest sounds (In a un-released version). Can't we use some simple C# code to move some or all the sqf work to an external app for faster calculations?
  21. Maybe use attachTo to attach a small object (some simple transparent square) on to the weapon and do the texturing on that?
  22. I don't think you should use the global ones, as your ammo status and everything on the weapon only needs to be seen by you. Just put the selections and change the texture for the player only with code running on his machine. Just an idea for higher server performance.

  24. Allright than shay_gman wins. The grenade view is a 2D thing, but it originates from the 3D model. Read this. MCC is seeming to get all the features other mods have in pieces merged in to itself with additions.
