  1. Assets seen in these images are just a sample of what is included, NOT the entire content! Everything shown is still work-in-progress, NOT the final content! Details: USP Gear & Uniforms v0.7.0 This mod is composed of the following components: USP_Gear_Acc (Accessories; GPS, wristmap, etc) USP_Gear_Body (Uniforms; pretty much just uniforms) USP_Gear_Core (Core; required by all modules to function) USP_Gear_Face (Facewear; shades, balaclavas, cool stuff, etc) USP_Gear_Head (Headgear; helmets, caps, etc) USP_Gear_Nvg (You guessed it) USP_Gear_Pack (Backpacks; mostly stuff that goes on the back) USP_Gear_Vest (Body armor; everything from lightweight chest rigs to full plate carriers.) USP_Objects (Editor placeable objects) Each module is standalone, and only requires the USP_Gear_Core (included) to function. Required Addons: None Signed: Yes, Server Key included Overview: I'll try to keep this brief. Overall, this mod has been long in the making, even before any progress pics started popping up for it. I've owned and played the whole Arma series, back to OFP, and remained a pretty dedicated fan since the start. Never did anything more than play with scripting and develop missions/scenarios up until Arma 3, which is when I first decided to really get into modding. Started out small, messing around with patches and markers, and then I began playing with retextures as a first step into working on a full units/gear mod. Got good and far along with that, but never really mentioned it or made a release since I have a bad habit of always wanting to pack in more before going public. Then I met Hawaiian (Will) and he taught me everything he could. Started messing with models, building up the foundation for a gear mod with what I could from A2 assets. Eduardo (Carlos) right by my side from the beginning, always pushing me and encouraging progress, doing everything he can to learn and help where possible. Enter OMA, the team modeller with incredible talent, shit explodes from there. So now we have this here, a gear pack that is steadily expanding to create as much authentic assets as we can...or until we get bored. Including tons of variety, hiddenSelections, various camo/texture patterns, and the largest collection of vests/plate carriers available. Why? Because we like creating new things and adding as much variety as we can to the game. I'll update everything with more info soon, mainly just wanted to get the thread up so I can stop posting unrelated things to the Rangers thread. Current Assets: As always, everything shown here is WIP and subject to change. Somes items still aren't shown yet, so this list will be updated as new assets are added. Accessories: Facewear: Headgear: NVG: Packs: Uniforms: Vests: Future Assets: Everything. No but seriously, we have a pretty lengthy list of 'planned' assets, but that's not to say all of them will get done. We're constantly adding to the list so we'll just see how much gets completed in the end. Just to name a few items, we have things like balaclavas, shemaghs, coveralls, beards, amphibious gear, para gear, and much more in the planning. May create a more solid list of our future-plans as we get further along, so stay tuned. FAQ: Q: When will this mod be released? ETA? A: The mod is already released. Q: Do you take requests? A: Absolutely. Not that we will accept all requests, but definitely consider them. Q: Is there any focus or direction that is planned for the gear? US only? A: Not entirely, pretty much adding anything that interests us for the most part. Q: Why make so many assets that have already been done before? A: Well to make an all-in-one gear pack, it's what we all want right? Q: Any plans to work on weapons or vehicles at some point? A: Details will be revealed when its time. Q: How are you able to pump out new asset models so fast? A: The Dream Team© Q: Will this mod be made open-source so assets can be used in other projects? A: Possibly upon request. (This only applies to assets created by OMA.) Dev Team: Here's the core development team. We are a growing, dedicated group and always open to experienced help from anyone wishing to get involved. Yes. No. We do have a discord if you'd like to stay more up-to-date on progress but as was mentioned there, things have slowed substantially. Not as many active devs and nearly all of us have become more limited on our time modding, but progress is still being made towards release(s) even if not as fast as we'd like. Anyone with modding experience who'd be interested in helping to speed things along is more than welcome to contact us.

Made some changes to our NVG pack. GPNVG18 have received a new overlay thanks to WolfeActual: And I took another shot at getting our NVG glow splash working and actually worked out something pretty decent. Happy enough with it now to fully implement across our nvg sets.

Some new patterns being added to our packs. A few are still WIP and require further adjustments, but not far from having the base patterns complete.

    USP Gear & Uniforms

With how short handed we are currently and the limited time the few of us have to work on the project, it is unlikely that we'll be taking on anymore requests/suggestions or adding too many more new assets (which require new models to be made) to our roadmap. Certain things will be an exception if we come across assets which are deemed necessary to our overall goals. This may change over time depending on whether we are able to pull more active devs onboard, but the current plans are to finish the model assets we already have available (which is still quite a bit). As for the Caiman ballistic helmets, you are kinda in luck there since that is something that we already had modeled awhile back but for the Caiman Hybrid bump helmet with addon ballistic plates, so maybe not what you are after. Though may still be awhile before that item is integrated into the mod as its fairly low on the priority list compared to others. As far as our helmets in USP, yes we are making versions of them which fit better with the balaclavas and have minimal clipping. Every helmet has 2 different hidden selections for the straps; tight fit (for no balaclava) and loose fit (with balaclava). Those options will also be incorporated into the helmet ACE interactions, so the straps can be adjusted while playing if needed. But as for helmets from other mods/vanilla, not much we can do about that unless the balaclavas ever undergo further edits which could possibly make them more universally compatible.

Not ours. We do have a JPC2 that will be included with our vest update, but that one isn't from our mod.

    USP Gear & Uniforms

Thanks. There are quite a few issues with the vests as well as headgear, since those are still the same builds from the initial release of USP Gear & Uniforms. Those have been in desperate need of updating, which is on the way and packed full of fixes, new content, and plenty more to make it worth the wait. Okay, gonna try embedding these images from the Google album again, please let me know if anyone has issues with them loading here. This is a preview of one of our new backpack models which will be included with the next update as well as showing the extensive customization options that will be available as hiddenSelections. There will be multiple premade loadouts that will come with the update, but we won't be doing EVERY variation like we usually have in the past. Players will be able to 'build' their own loadouts though by disabling/enabling various selections of their choosing. We are actively working to get all of our packs working with the ACE Arsenal Extended mod which will make this process much more fluid and easy to achieve.

Nope you aren't missing anything, just looking at the wrong uniform. The G3 Combat uniform (Crye G3C) is the one you are looking at which has Navy blue. Its the G3 Field uniform (Crye G3F) which has the NWU. Search the uniforms list for 'Crye G3F' No there is no difference. The AIO is currently up-to-date with all the standalone packs, so having the AIO is the same as having all the rest. Usually the standalone packs get updated more frequently than the AIO, but I always try my best to update the AIO not far afterwards.

Yes, the NWU pattern is available in this update on the G3 Field uniforms. Furthermore, USP_Gear_Core has also been updated with new patches and both Core and Uniforms have been updated in the AiO. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1795825073

Odd indeed, considering I've always been able to embed the images from that same album previously here. Used to have issues with embedding IMGUR pics, so then I switched to Google, and now that is starting to have issues lol. Oh well, in any case this is the images that were posted:

WIP Update: Some new assets recently completed and pushed ingame. First off we have our new Crye Zip-on Pack panel 2.0 which was kindly contributed by Zen of Stage 3 Studios, which has been modified for USP with our standard patterns, new detailing, and various configuration setups. Then we have also provided some of the same treatment to our current Crye Zip-on Pouch panel 2.0, as well as several other improvements and changes. And some new uniform accessories from Ardy have been included. The Suunto Core wristwatch has replaced the older watch model we were using and the new Wrist Coach doing the same for the older wrist map. Standalone variants of these will also be available under the facewear slot.

    USP Gear & Uniforms

OCP variants were released with the last IHPS update. The MSV has been added to our never ending to-do list, just not sure how soon it will be that we're able to get around to working on it (still so many other things to finish and never enough time to do it all). As for the SPCS, yes that is something we still plan to finish and include, but again no idea how soon that may be. We have a long list of assets which currently have priority and our main focus right now, but thats not to say some priorities won't switch around depending on what we're in the mood for. Just need everyone to understand that our development team is scaled back quite a bit compared to what it was for the past couple years or so, with some devs moving on to other things, some done with modding in general, and some which don't have much time anymore to dedicate to this project. So we are limited on manpower with only a few of us still remaining active with the mod on a semi-regular basis. Updates/releases may be slow but we haven't called it quits yet, still a good bit more we have planned. New balaclavas will be included with the next Facewear update. Agilite bridge will be included with the next Headgear update/standalone release.
  20. Patches seen in these images are just a small sample of what is included, NOT the entire content! Details: USP Patches - 4525 Unit Patches & Insignias Required Addons: None Signed: Yes, Server Key included Overview: VERSION 1.6: 1350 New Patches & Insignias added. 4525 Total. Not much to say, other than another patches update with tons more added. This update was mainly focused around adding all the country flags, which makes up about half of the pack, with each country flag coming in 3 variants (Frame, Name, & Shield). Also adding in 4 new pbo's for the countries of Greece, Iraq, Israel, and Pakistan. The Field Manual section for this addon has been updated to include better information regarding each individual pack. Started doing some cleanup with the classnames, so as always be sure to check the ClassList if having trouble. Even though this was the biggest update so far, it still didn't quite fill all requests as I had thought. Time is wearing thin for me, so I decided to go ahead and pack what is done to at least get it released. More additions will be coming, to address some of the requests that were missed and to focus more directly on already included addon packs. The roadmap for this addon, from version 1.6 to 1.7, will be to expand further upon included modules which have been neglected since introduced. As well as upgrading many of the outdated (128x) patches to 256x. Hope you all enjoy this update, which is packed full of new morale patches for everyone, and some smaller additions to all previous categories. ORIGINAL: During the process of creating my own custom units, I came across the need for some specific unit patches. Which then turned into an entire project all in its own, as a few patches turned into a library. Seeing as how there aren't very many patch addons in the community currently, I decided to go ahead and begin adding as many patches and insignias as I possibly could to the game. Each and every patch tailored to 'near-perfection', so all would be presented in just as much quality as there is quantity. There are still tons more patches to be added, and with this first pack, I was more focused on U.S. patches, since those are the units I am currently working on. But, I do plan on adding in many more patches based off of different countries around the world. Please note, I cannot ensure the absolute accuracy of the naming of all patches in this pack. All informations have been pulled from internet resources from which the patches were obtained. If you are certain of a name which is incorrect, please do contact me and inform me of the changes and I will be sure to correct them as needed. If anyone has any requests for additional patches, feel free to ask as I don't mind adding in more. Hope you enjoy this small addition and I will try to keep updated as necessary. So you tried deleting the other pbo files? There should be no reason for the others to show if the other pbos aren't present, it wouldn't be possible since those contain the patch images. Unless Steam is doing something to redownload the files for some reason.
