Sure thing, not a problem at all. You can either contact me through DM here, or preferably on Discord if you use it. My ID: Siege-A#5657

    Small Insignia mod

I don't mind giving a hand if needed, doing an insignia mod is pretty basic and not hard to learn. Would even be willing to share with you source files from my own patches pack to get you started, if interested.

The AIO pack is currently on Armaholic. I can't be certain if that version is fully up-to-date, nor do we maintain the uploads there, so use at your own discretion. And a few screenshots for you guys that were taken during internal testing. These were shown on our Discord and figured we would share around so everyone can get a look at the G3 (and variants) ingame. Some tweaking is still being done, so to be taken as WIP until they are released. Last thing I'll note; many of the visual differences between patterns is something we are aware of and it is being corrected to match with our uniforms. We don't expect things to always be a perfect match, due to items having different fabrics/materials, but we do look to have them blending well with eachother.

Are you talking about the update that was posted today? Because the change log is listed. But just to recap, it was just a small hotfix for some of the file signatures which weren't working. Not sure if that did the trick, since there were still some issues when uploading the new signatures, but we'll find out. Once the content update is released, it will be posted here.

After many revisions, Ardy's work on the new G3 model is being concluded. Some minor changes are still being made as we run it through testing, as well as additional rolled/cut sleeve variants still being in the works, but outside of that we are all happy with the current state of the uniform. This has been one of the last additions that we were looking to throw in with the update and once testing is complete with no major issues, we will be pushing releases for the final modules; Uniforms, Vests, & Headgear.

    USP Gear & Uniforms

Hello all, We at USP understand that the ban-list functionality included in our most recent update has caused quite a stir, for better or for worse depends purely on the context. However, we felt it best to state our intent with this functionality, reflect on its introduction, and discuss steps for the future. At USP all of our developers take a hard-line approach against content theft. Be it from our mod, other mods, or other games. Content theft has a serious detrimental effect on the modding community, with notable cases of long-term modders packing up and leaving the Arma 3 modding community due to the stark increase in cases of content theft since Arma 3’s release. Modding is what makes Arma so great, modding has put many games and their developers on the map over the years, and games developed 20 years ago are still played by members of their communities thanks to modders. USP is a large mod with a large following, yet our team is relatively small. We have found in recent months, that the increase in content theft, and trying to investigate and manage every single instance of content theft from our mod was causing a lot of overhead and it was detrimentally affecting our ability to develop the content you’ve come to appreciate in the community. We found over time that these instances of content theft were coming from a small subset of people each time. So, the idea was to create functionality that made it harder for these people to gain access to our mod to steal the content from it. And make it impossible for these people to play on multiplayer with the mod installed. Unfortunately, this functionality missed the mark, due to us having no examples to go by and having to purely test the concept through trial and error. There were a number of problems with it, functionally and non-functionally, that has caused issues with members of the community who were not intended to be banned. We are working on refining this ban-list function so that innocent players are no longer affected by the ban, and we are also refining the criteria on who makes the ban-list with a clear SOP on how we investigate and evidence these bans. External and internal communications procedures when dealing with members of the community are also being looked at, and the primary focus of this change is positive community engagement. We at USP realize that there is a significant radio silence while development is underway, we are looking to commit to change this so you can see the hard work we put in to provide you with quality content for Arma 3, for free. We are also proud to announce that, subject to dev team vetting and approval, mods retexturing USP assets will be allowed to release publicly. Some of the things you can expect in the future include: - Dev Streams - Dev Blogs - Featured Screenshots - Copyright Question Time - Featured USP Retexture Furthermore, for the first time since the mod was initially announced, we are reopening public discord channels to the community. This will remain separate from our closed development channels. We have made this decision in order to engage with the community more openly and always remaining transparent with our actions. Everyone is welcome and we strongly encourage you guys to use this opportunity for discussing the mod, learning more about IP theft and what can be done to prevent it, and anything else that may be on your mind. Hopefully as we move forward from here, this will give you all a better understanding of our direction as well as our commitment to providing you with the best content which we can offer. https://discord.gg/XzJvP4E

    USP Gear & Uniforms

USP Gear & Uniforms AIO has been updated to v0.7.7! The following modules have been updated to v0.8.0, with standalone releases on the way; USP_Gear_Acc, USP_Gear_Core, USP_Gear_Face, USP_Gear_NVG, & USP_Gear_Pack. Furthermore, USP_Objects has been removed from the AIO pack and will be released separately. Uniform fixes were not implemented yet, and will be coming with the USP_Gear_Body 0.8.0 update. As always, there are errors and issues in need of fixing with the updated modules, as well as additional texture work to be done. But at least now you all will have a chance to use some of the new assets until everything is complete. Enjoy. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1795825073 USP Objects & Placeables v0.8.0 released! https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2121559988

Arma 3 Photography : Questions and Comments

At least for the majority of us it is, but can't really speak for you. Some don't catch on as quick as others. Does make me understand a bit better though why you guys would remove that rule from your own photography page now; you just don't know what any of that stuff means. So now you seek the answers you need from somewhere that has a much better understanding of it all. When you edit your posts like that, it just puts everything out of context. Had you said that sooner, I would have left it at that. Otherwise, just seemed to me that you were fishing for bait. Why else would a 'moderator' come here questioning a rule such as this? 'Do not post stolen/ripped/IP violating content' Does it really make sense for an official forum for a game/company to allow stolen/ripped/IP violating content be displayed? Sounds rather unprofessional.

Ah, alright then. I'm sure one of the moderators here can educate you.

Arma 3 Photography : Questions and Comments

Do you really need an answer to that? Seems rather self-explanatory. Don't you already have a arma photography page on reddit which once had those rules as well? At least, up until you guys felt the need to remove them...

    USP Gear & Uniforms

We have discussed the possibility of doing the G4, but nothing set in stone yet since they aren't very common to see at the moment, making it low on the priority list. We'll see as time goes on whether they become more widely used and then we may look back into them again.
  14. Siege-A

    USP Flags & Markers

No it doesn't. There are some flags for the service branches if I recall right, but no specific units/divisions. If there are any in particular you are looking for, feel free to post them up as a request and I'll see about adding them in.

Yep, should be able to get that taken care of now that I know what was causing it.

Hidden selections will still be a thing even once the ACE stuff is all worked in. Can't promise that it will all be available with the update, but we're working our way in that direction. Yeah we can reduce the dirt a bit on the overlay. Was waiting to hear some feedback about it before making any changes. Does seem a little heavy.

WIP update for all the forum dwellers. A few improvements have been made for the SOLR oxygen mask; redone textures for the hose, fixed hose weighting, oxygen tank slightly repositioned, and a new pouch added for the tank. The Oakley ballistic goggles from Cunico have been retextured along with some minor improvements to the model. More progress made on the MICH-2001, which will be included with the helmets update. MGP back panels have been updated. Nearly all models have been replaced and textures upgraded. Some new setups will be made available later. Images show old vs new. Steve from the SPS mod has been assisting us with some things in our weapons project. He donated this Magpul 40-Rnd PMAG for use in USP. And Steve has also begun texturing Warden's Geissele mounts (first image is the raw model).

No, those will be fixed with the release of the updated USP_Gear_Head pbo.

    USP Gear & Uniforms

Nothing new to report. Got a long list of items that are still laying around which have work to be done yet before being game ready, so can't really say much more on it until we have caught ourselves up a bit. Yeah that was a mistake. The pbo isn't included with that download. But to remedy that, we have just now released the USP Gear - ACE module which will contain all of our ACE compat files. USP Gear - ACE v0.8.0 Released! https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2056229605 Currently includes USP Gear Nvg (ACE) for a first glimpse into our gear interaction system. More compat files will be added as other gear modules are released.

Another WIP milestone to show that patience can lead to better things. With more time comes more content in the end result. Shown here is a look at some of the great new things which have been made available for this update, as well as one of the first looks at the fully completed Crye G3 uniform by our dev @ardvarkdb. More images here.

Can't all of that information be pulled up through the ingame config viewer? Making a classlist is something we really didn't wanna do considering the thousands of classnames that would need to be added, but its possible our obfuscation makes the configs unable to read ingame. Check it out and let us know, and we'll see about doing a fix. We do have plans to make configs more accessible, which would alleviate the problems of making custom configs. Once all the standalone modules are released and updated, then we'll push an updated version of the all-in-one pack. The standalones will be updated more frequently than the main pack, so its still always best to compare versions.

Much appreciated for the continued interest in the mod. Will gladly add that in for the next update. The gear mod has taken priority at the moment, but just as soon as the update for it is released, I will be looking to get the patches/markers mods updated.

    USP Gear & Uniforms

So just wanted to drop in and give you guys a little update on our progress, and where things stand with the updated release. First off, we have taken some more authors onboard which will be elaborated on more as they get moving along. One of which is well experienced in doing animations and has already contributed a hefty load of them to allow us to bring you our own custom static poses pack which will be titled; USP Animations & Poses. Everyone welcome @ShiftyzZ-98 to the team. For now, this will be directed towards screenshot makers, but he is also going to be providing us with some custom animations which can be incorporated with some of our gear. Next we have had some rumors going around about a possible USP Weapons pack, which I won't confirm or deny until we can see how things develop. Yes, it is something we are highly interested in, and have been for quite sometime, but we need to ensure that we are able to get it going successfully (and manage all the requirements needed) before we can commit to it fully. More details will be provided once we can establish if it is something feasible for us to undertake. Lastly, I'm sure everyone has been growing a bit impatient for the updated gear release, as I hear about it nearly every day. Some thinking we're just teasing people, some with this diluted idea that we are doing it to milk patreon as much as we can (even though OMA is the only one that receives those funds, and we don't offer any special benefits for donating aside from Discord access), and then some that just believe we aren't focusing on the right priorities. While none of that is true, I would rather not have to explain the reasoning behind why things are taking so long. For those that are knowledgeable in what it takes to create a mod, they have a good idea of what we have been going through without needing an answer. Whereas those who haven't can't seem to grasp the concept that these things take time, especially when we want only the best for our projects and are not satisfied with releasing something that isn't up to our standards (even if others are fine with the current state of things). But, I am going to disclose some information about how the release will be made. Since we have several modules that are currently ready for release, and had planned to release it all at once, we will begin dropping them individually instead. This will allow everyone to get their hands on some of the new content little by little, and giving ourselves additional time to prepare the rest to follow up with. Not here to provide an ETA on when this is going to happen, so don't bother asking. All I will say is that if we have several that are ready, then there's a good chance it could be any day now. Best way to stay in the loop is to keep an eye on our Twitter or subreddit page, which will be the first locations that any releases are announced. I'd also like to inform you guys about our own website which was the work of one of our devs; @markoef. And before complaining that it was a waste of time which took away from the release, keep in mind that this was completely a side project that was done at his own will in order to further increase our exposure. The page is solely meant as a central location for information about our team and projects, and we are all very grateful to him for the work he has put into it. You can find the link here: https://uspmod.com/ And since we always like to drop some WIP every chance we can, here is a fresh new piece of gear delivered to us by OMA for those not following our media pages. Its all good. Sorry if we seem a little edgy at times, we are working as hard as we can to get things pushed out and we do get our share of flak from people that don't understand what all is involved on our side. Not always easy taking on a mod of this scale and having tons of items/features that require attention. At that point, its fairly easy for some things to slip under the rug unnoticed until we get back to them. But as for the WileyX gloves which you are referring to, they will most likely come in a bit later. It just requires a good bit of work setting up all the uniform variants everytime we add in another set.
