  1. Borderline Tactical Who are we? B-Tac is a relatively new group, founded at the end of 2012. We play tactical games of ArmA every Thursday and Saturday. In these games we use proper radio communication, real-life tactics, trained movements and techniques to achieve objectives. Because of this we expect a sense of professionalism to go along with a sense of humor and fun. We don't pretend we're in the Armed forces, there is no saluting, 'sir', or anything else associated with that. We've worked hard to make it a relaxed and fun environment. We aim to keep things flexible. We don't keep people in permanent positions. You are free to play in any role you like provided you've shown interest and some competency. On our dedicated Tac nights we get 18-25 players working together at once, with missions made by our own editors. Our player size is relatively small but we hope to grow to allow for large scale scenarios and platoon level missions. How do we operate? Before a Tac, a brief is posted on the forums for you to nominate command positions, read the mission intelligence and see the assets provided if any. There are three tiers of leadership involved in our sessions: Platoon Commander, Section Leader and Fire team Leader. By streamlining the command structure like that, we break up a lot of the micro managing issues that are inherent with leadership positions. The Commander for the night runs his subordinates through the first few objectives and how he would like them achieved, setting the ROE and how he expects the mission to proceed. This information is trickled down through the command chain and finally to the regular soldiers. We use our own TTP, following common tactics used by most modern defense branches. Everybody has a role to play in one of our Tacs: Pilot, AR gunner, Medic, whatever's called for. How can I join? 1. You can go to the B-Tac forums: http://www.borderlin...orums/forum.php and message me (Spanie Lisem: http://www.borderlinetactical.net/forums/member.php?8-Spanie-Lisem) that you're interested and any questions you have. 2. Hop onto our Teamspeak server: ts3.therebelscum.net and get to know the other members. What is involved with joining? After registering you will be in a screening period so that we can see if you work well in a team environment. Treat this as a way to see if B-Tac offers what you're looking for, if you're unhappy you can walk away, no hard feelings. After your screening period you'll be bumped up to 'Grunt', an official member of Borderline Tactical. What is required of me? 1. Must be 18 or older 2. Treat your mates with respect 3. Be able to follow orders in the field 4. Speak and understand English 5. Attend most Tac nights and Trainings, Barring exceptions . 6. Be active on the forums and Teamspeak 7. Not be a part of another ArmA unit. We do run our Tac nights with mods. You can find the list, download link to the mod package and instructions here http://www.borderlin...-Server-Modpack
