  1. Canada doesn't have a "arctic division". What are you referring too?
  2. Google image search; search words "RIMPAC 2012" "PPCLI" "CSOR" "JTF2" Also, off the Canadian Army Facebook page and militaryphotos.net
  3. On deployments, it is common for soldiers to purchase their own rig to replace the tac vest - this is of course if the chain of command allows it. Within Canada generally, it is tac vest only how ever some units are ok with members wearing a purchased chest rig or webbing. There is also the SORD and Tactical Tailor rigs that have been issued in the last few years. If you have DWAN access, search for the small arms update - I used the search term "C7A3" and found it that way, shows all the planned/proposed upgrades. There is an accessory rail system and some other things planned for the C6. The C8A3s are issued with a EoTech as well. The C7/C8 also comes with a small back up iron sight. The EoTech is an officially issued sight, and they come with all C8A3s(some units also have C79A2s for them as well); individual units are not purchasing their own EoTechs for use overseas as they are a CAF issue item. Some extra EoTechs are also used on C9s, etc. The EoTech 512 is the model issued for conventional forces, and CANSOFCOM uses the 553, and another model(as seen in publicly released photos and video). http://static.dvidshub.net/media/thumbs/photos/1207/633152/1000w_q75.jpg http://i47.tinypic.com/53weo2.jpg http://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2012/35/1346088410-cc2012-0820-006.jpg http://i117.photobucket.com/albums/o47/Hatakestrife/CSOR212.jpg http://www.abload.de/img/csor1m4s4a.jpg https://scontent-a-lga.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash3/q75/s720x720/1235989_10153187842920007_158606093_n.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-c-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/q88/s720x720/1185807_10153187842915007_1431620929_n.jpg The brown boots we originally got were garbage(and were past the trial stage I believe) and did fall apart(not all fell apart after a short period, but a majority did). Brown boots are still being issued out though. Another tender was put out for companies to submit brown/tan boots, and 2 pairs of Kodiak boots and L.P. Royer pair are moving onto user trials. As well, the black boots are in limited supply so if black boots are not available in your size, you are getting the brown boots or desert boots(if available). https://buyandsell.gc.ca/procurement-data/award-notice/PW-PR-751-62564 https://buyandsell.gc.ca/procurement-data/award-notice/PW-PR-751-62564-1 https://buyandsell.gc.ca/procurement-data/award-notice/PW-PR-751-62564-0 For more info and photos on the brown boots first issued out, and the new round of trial boots check click on the below link http://forums.army.ca/forums/index.php/topic,450.msg1262646.html#new Yes, the Canadian Forces does have some. They are crewman helmets(armour vehicle crews), but, Snipers are using them as well. For SOF, in photos and the CANSOF video you can see Ops Core helmets, and others in use. http://www.abload.de/img/csor1m4s4a.jpg https://fbcdn-sphotos-g-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/13884_500522460039737_129470204_n.jpg http://img547.imageshack.us/img547/811/9j9v.jpg The CAF mod looks great, good job guys.
