  1. The difficulty/skill is set to the minimum everywhere. In the game settings, in the editor and even with F5 modules. A skill of 0.2 Tried the Pre-created difficulty setting, but same results. Btw this config is missing an }; Singleplayer only. Also "VCOM_AISkillEnabled = false;" doesnt change anything. It's like it's not skill related. https://youtu.be/iHb1zhLO45w Regards
  2. Thank you Genesis for the update! Rearming is a well needed addition. Tried it and it works! I think all of the features work fine but the supersniper AI is still plaguing me. I'm being always fired upon with my first shot... prone, night, silencer, 600m distance, 1 missed shot towards some private class unit = I am being instantly fired upon. Am I really the only one with this godmode AI problem? Any ideas how I might further investigate this? And the AI shoots me even when he does not "knowsabout player", so it's like not even unit skill related. Also VCOM_HEARINGDISTANCE = distance shooter is immidiately detected when shooting. "enemy knowsabout player == 4" instantly. Also with addons I got a underfined variable in exp: _mags in realmself.sqf line 32

For mod version if you set the debug markers on then there are arrows spawned in the air on you position and so on. \Arma 3\userconfig\VCOM_AI\AISettingsV2.hpp //Turn this on to see certain debug messages VCOM_AIDEBUG = 1; //Turn on map markers that track AI movement VCOM_UseMarkers = true; AI throwing smokes when engaged is also a good sign.
  4. thank you genesis for a new test version! Tried it. Did not notice arty errors or animation loops anymore. Saw buildings used, smoke, arti, supportcall being used and various maneuvers. Supportcall it seems only works "against the player"... support only started moving when I interfered in the AI battle. But the AI still detects me with the first shot immediately (knowsabout == 4). A simple test mission where AI detects me on first shot with ~5 seconds.   5. Hi and thank you! The gibbing does not work with ACE it seems. Bloodsplatters work. And when I remove ACE gibbing works but I also get: No Entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgModels.default'.
  6. Hi My problem with being detected is related to the "VCOM_HEARINGDISTANCE" setting. If I fire inside the distance radius (600m), I am detected and immediately fired upon. I dont think it should work this way Sometimes AI is stuck in somekind of "put gun away" animation. Also sometimes with arti in mission I recieve: edit: nope hearingdistance does not fix the problem completely
  7. Hi Set skills to 0 in difficulty settings... still detected with first shot. With the 21.02. vcom version it takes ~4 shots to be detected (same userconfig). Thank you!

  9. Thank you for a new version! :) Most features seem to be working fine. But AI skill setting seem broke. In my AISettingsV2.hpp for Private Level AI I have: _Unit setSkill ["spotDistance",(0.1 + (random 0.1))]; _Unit setSkill ["spotTime",(0.1 + (random 0.1))]; 1 prone shot from 500m away on a squad of "privates" and I am immediately detected and fired upon. Addon version with cba and Vcom only.
  10. Thank you for this grimson mod! Everything working as intended thus far. An idea would be the addition of simple dismemberment, like it was done in SLX. When hit with enough damage the unit is deleted and body parts are spawned.
  11. Hi My Arma3 with CBA and ACE cannot load singleplayer mission savegames and crashes when loading. Editor savegames work tho. Using latest version of ACE and CBA cleanly installed. Any mission crashes. Game does not crash without ACE.   12. Tried and played VCOM 2.5. It works! :) AI was very much more human like and more interesting. Saw being used shot detection, support call, smoke, mines, artillery, garrisoning, vehicle transport. The combat/stealth waypoint issue though still is in. A fix is to assign 2 extra move waypoints before the combat/stealth waypoint. Also some snipers stopped and blew themselves up with mines. Thank you!

    Blastcore: Phoenix 2

    Am I right in assuming the Eden update broke blastcore for good? Constant "Underfined variable in expression bis_effects_cannon" and "bis_effects_heavycalibre".
  14. After some testing... sometimes (very slowly) support call or gunshot reaction works. Steath/combat waypoint dont work.
  15. Tested the new version... love it. Waypoints are working again and it is just so nice to watch the AI conquer a town :) Saw most of the features being effectively used. Although 1 important feature seemed not to work - support call. 10 man squad guarding town, 20 man attacking. A 3rd squad with no waypoints does not ever come for help (~600m away) although they are even aware of the enemy. edit: also gunshot hearing over the 800m setting does not bring a reaction
  16. Thank you for the update! Had some testruns today and a lot has improved :) Waypoints now mostly work and the AI does interesting stuff again. Without waypoints the AI is very good Bugs: Waypoints with changed parameters have problems. Waypoint behavior "stealth" or "danger" caused the units to stop forever. Same for changing speed to "full". Probably all changes. Sometimes I saw squad leaders repeating something like a "put away weapon" animation forever. Maybe bugs: Transport vehicles are sometimes left behind/stopped (crew inside, soldiers long out) Maybe intentional but units are not agressive enough to follow their waypoint to the end. Example: Attack Chernogorsk from north-west with infantry, apcs, tanks. Simple "seek and destroy waypoints" into the city. At 30 minutes there are very few shots heard and the attack force is sitting in front of the city, but never enters it. They should enter... Here is an illustration of the situation http://i.imgur.com/biBAwMD.jpg In userconfig I think Unit setSkill "reloadSpeed" should be the other way around. "1.0" would be the best skill, not "0.1". edit: And some random times units with move waypoints still dont move
  17. Very glad to hear that there is a new version coming :) Are the waypoints fixed in the next version, or is this still a unknown bug only plaguing me? Currently any waypoint causes AI squads to walk around in circles at their starting location or wander off in a random direction, as if they were patrolling. Clean Arma 3 with only CBA and latest Vcomai.

  19. Hi and thank you for this wonderful control mod! I am having trouble getting started after reading the manuals and watching the videos. The tablet and menus work fine. But HUD mode seems to occupy my numpad keys (in use by ACE and others). And when I use the numpad keys the hud formations appear, but are never "commited". How do I assign them to other keys than numpad? They dont seem to be in the addon controls menu.

    Enhanced Movement

    Love the movement possibilites and the mini mods! Is there a possibility to climb down from building roofs? Falling is not the best method. And I get "No entrty 'bin\confing.bin/CfgGlasses.NVGoggles'." when I load a savegame and the nvgoggles are no more usable. edit: the nvg thing is probably unrelated
  22. Hi I cannot load savegames on this map. Whenever I try to load a saved game it throws Unable to load ~~\Usersaved\missions\mission.australia\save1.Arma3Save I am using other mods, but this is the only map that cannot load savegames. Besides this problem, the map is lovely!

    JSRS3: DragonFyre

    Hi Arma3 1.52 and the latest RHS escalation have problems with Dragonfyre. When I enable Dragonfyre some RHS vehicle turrets are not working. Humvee M2 for example... in gunner position I get only "freelook" and the weapon does not fire. edit: the problem lies in dfyre_v_w_hunter.pbo
  24. Nope I'm also seeing this in the last 2 versions. No waypoints work and AI movement is completely broken!! Latest Arma3 and no other mods. Squad leader +3 mates are just flickering in their starting position (maybe trying to aim at enemy) and the rest of the squad moves in some random direction, where there is no enemy or waypoint. Some waypoints are drawn onto the map but they only move to the first one and then stop. Also AT soldiers still not fire weapons. The AI accuarcy, spotting and smoke count is now better :) http://i.imgur.com/WcptJSj.jpg
  25. Hi A simple test scenario with some errors. 3 AT squads that move in the completely wrong direction or dont move at all and fail to engage the APC. And I am being shot by the APC from 600m after taking 1-2 shots from prone position.
