Hi there, I am trying to get backpacks to spawn on the ground either next to a marker or a named civilian unit. I can get the backpack to spawn on the ground but if the unit or maker is on a building and I want the backpack to spawn above the floor of the building it remains fixed to ground level which means it is buried in the floor of the building, Have tired a number of different ways but unable to get the backpack to spawn above the terrain level so it doesnt end up buried in the ground. Would anyone have any ideas or suggestions for this problem?

Making Slammer Fire Main Gun

I used dotarget and dofire yesterday, it worked but the slammer only fired the machinegun. Will try command fire later but if that does the same is there a way to force the main gun use? ---------- Post added at 08:21 ---------- Previous post was at 07:32 ---------- Just tried and it fires only the machinegun -
I am looking to have a Slammer tank located on a hill, and for a bit of realism I would like the tank to fire on a position (probably marked by invisible helipad) fire the main gun then wait a few seconds before rotating and targeting another location and firing again. Can anyone offer their superior knowledge on the subject? Thanks

My first mission I have put together for ARMA 3 and my first attempt since the good old Operation Flashpoint. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=191107951&searchtext= NATO forces have mobilised themselves into position to assault Stratis and take back the territory from CSAT forces. Special Forces have been mobilised to harass and disrupt the enemy in preperation for the coming invasion. As one of these elite team members you are tasked with preparing the ground for the safe insertion of a tactical assault team to LZ Connor, once safely dropped you will join their squad and assault a nearby enemy Command and Control location and eliminate the high ranking officer dealing a significant blow to the enemy. This mission utilises the UPSMON script package to provide as dynamic a mission experience as possible within the constraints I was trying to create for the mission, and thanks go to its author for creating such an excellent script. Hope you enjoy the mission and any feedback then please feel free, as I say my first mission since OFP and enjoyed relarning a lot and developing for future missions.

I tried your way but it doesnt work still, tried LEAN and the soldier still stands there :s

changed the code for the unit and this didn't affect it and the unit remains in an upright combat stance :(

I have an issue where I have added UPSMON to my mission but some individual units had BIS_fnc_ambientAnimCombat attributed to them, since adding UPSMON they just stand there in combat mode. Has anyone seen this before? Have searched but couldn't see a mention of this, is there a way of getting the units to sit or lean etc? Or possibly can the units be set to sit and lean and also be part of a UPSMON reinforcement system?

Anyone found a fix for the units not patrolling in safe and limited speed? I have a pair of units in their own marker area and they patrol but in the wrong behaviour and speed. enemy units haven't event landed on the island yet and the units cannot see the enemy. Any ideas?
