Welcome to the European Alliance, or "EUA"! The EUA is a new group formed around the idea of tactical realism yet still maintaining a casual; no hassle environment. We aim to get the most out of what we do, either by having an amazing mission together, or by just having a laugh. There are no strict rules or petty training requirements in the EUA, which is why when you join, you can just jump straight into the game, rather than be treated like an FNG; like most other groups do. If you want help with something, then of course we can help, but we expect members to be able to install mods or at least know what a mod is, at a minimum.
The join process is very simple as well. You simply connect to the TeamSpeak 3 server, and you'll go through an interview with either the leader or co-leader. They'll ask you a series of questions related to ArmA 2; nothing too hard at all, it's just so we get to know a little bit about you. If accepted, you'll be a member and will have member privileges on the TeamSpeak 3 server. You will then be asked to put the unit tag in your in-game name, and also some details regarding the squad XML file (player ID etc). Once you are a member, you are expected to attend weekly operations and follow the server rules with responsibility and maturity.
The operations we have are kept controlled and organised to minimise frustration and hassle. The operation briefing starts at 17:30 GMT (18:30 for BST) Monday. During the briefing we discuss the mission and organize ourselves into squads in-game. Members are expected to be in-game on the lobby screen by 17:45 (18:45 for BST) Monday. We run an open slot system in the lobby, so we'll open up slots for anyone to jump in. It is done on a first come first served basis. This allows everyone to take a different role each time, and if you're up to it, take the commander role and lead your army. Once everyone is ready, we commence the mission and aim to end at 20:30 (21:30 for BST).
In terms of servers, we have perhaps the best setup there is. We have a whole dedicated server to ourselves, that runs the website, TeamSpeak and any game server we want. It's good because we can setup an infinite amount of game servers and choose how many slots it has, without being restricted by the hosting company. So if you want a server running a particular mission, just ask, and it'll be up!

The server rules we have in the EUA are only there to make sure everyone has a good time. It is required that all members respect these rules:
