are the sniper scopes going to be 2D or 3D scopes? considering how scopes were pretty much 2.5x zoom for the japs and the american scope was apperently also 2.5x zoom, which in ArmA III the MRCO, RCO, and ARCO are respectively 2x, 2x, 2x, while their RL counterparts (Cant find the real MRCO) have the HAMR (RCO) 4x zoom, SpecterDR(ARCO) is 4x zoom . So making them a 3D sight would be a nice option and would also make people who are familiar with games like rising storm like the sights.- 205 replies

Does anyone know how to make it so you CANT see where everyone in your vehicle is looking? because its annoying the living hell out of me in dev build and i cant find the option to turn it off, i much prefered using the vehicle's in built compass to find out what bearing my crew was looking

that isnt his, but its a working thing, Kiory's was a modded in gear set with a special RVMAT, this here makes you invisible and gives the the exhaust effect of a plane or something of the sorts to mimic distortion

This update caused a bad visual bug on some maps during daylight, the maps listed below are ones i have found. also namalsk seems to have no sky no matter the overcast setting, And Rura penthe is bugged with clouds and such A3 maps: Winter Chernarus Napf Winter A3 A2 maps: Clafghan Razoreniya -

my only issues with this mod is some blood splats i cannot walk over, and the vaporisation has too far of a range on some explosions (155mm) where someone wasnt close enough to be vaporized but the mod vaporized them anyways -

thats because its on a CUP map, ported maps dont have the proper lighting configs yet -

Im one of the friends, we have tried switching to Massis gear instead and same results, we believe its something with this mods, possibly has something to do with the MP modules like persistency

this mod kills frames when using anything with shrapnel, but the result is glorious -
i get a bug that only happens with this mod, when me and my friends play it on MP, no matter if we have the persistence on, off, or even the module not place down. We spawn where we last were (when presistance is off), magazines duplicate in some cases, and when someone joins we rubberband to the point where they start connecting (leading to many deaths). This happens with the save module not even in the game. and happens with it in aswell, even when we want persistence we get glitches still mostly the ones stated above,

my only issue is that it is not client side, as it creates usertexture objects (learned this using ARES to pick up remains of units). Which sadly means it isnt a good idea to use on public servers that allow clientside mods as it may lag up the server -

The LOD issue that came with the lighting also affected ArmA II buildings aswell, example here then i barely turn my head its like something out of quantum break -

There will be an OPCAN update coming sometime before 4/23/16, There will be a issue that i will make clear is unavoidable: Any mission using the OPCAN Pelicans will no longer work as the classnames will change from their current ones -
Do you plan on incorperating the First ArmA's buildings into the mod's loot system (the ones used in maps like ArmA II's Fallujah and Sahrani) Also just curious, if a building is opened up by a mod (like how CUP is going to open up a lot of A2 and A1 buildings) while keeping the same classnames, will loot spawn in the newly opened areas? Edit: also i didnt remember if anyone asked this, do you plan on adding CUP compatibility for weapons/ammo, vehicles, and uniforms?

Honestly I love the new lighting, i just wish it would have better shadows, And for all of those who say the new lighting looks "washed out" and such, either 1. Never looked at stratis with the new lighting, 2. Didnt look at the pic from BI comparing it to RL Limnos. So i will just post this here Photo @Bohemia Interactive -

my only issue so far is the US Army not using the loadouts they used in Operation Arrowhead, But instead using a loadout much more similar to the ones in Armed Assault with the US army on Sharani. Is there any chance y'all will fix this or separate them into two distinct factions like this: United States Army (OA) United States Army (ArmA) -
