well its all dependent in real life what area you are in regarding lighting, i live in town, and at night time its usually brighter on a overcast night than a regular clear skies night as the light reflects off of the clouds. also take a comparison look of RL and 1.60 before ranting about how unreal it is. Its much more realistic than what it was before, although i do think they could improve the aperture on Altis and Stratis. As for ANY other map, especially map packs like CUP-T, the lighting is something on their side. This is proven with maps like Esseker. IFA3's maps, Kunduz, G.O.S maps. They have for the most part balanced the aperture pretty nicely, even to the point even the night is the perfect balance. As for the clouds, i have been in many storms (Some even tornadic) in the past 2 weeks. There is nothing wrong with them besides maybe make them darker ONLY when its raining heavily, adding more visual weight to the clouds -
I mean the coding may not be that hard, he could basically split the code into 2 separate classes, one for regular zombies that will spawn primarily at non-military structures, and military zombies with headgear and vests possible to spawn near military structures. and a separate uniform classname lineset for the gear. its just an idea though i wont pester him about it

A successful evacuation of survivors of a white plague outbreak in the esseker region. All other armed personnel in the region has been confirmed infected, either turning or slowly going mad until their death. During the evacuation an armed offroad attempted to shoot down the evac, but the driver had seemingly turned and drove the car into the esseker river. in regards to my play session, i would like to toss some ideas around for Ravage. Bring back unarmed vehicle patrols. not everyone has to have a 50 cal. Ability to set areas synced to markers to create "military zones" where the more military weapons can spawn (set by a classname field like the zombie uniforms) along with military MRAPs ability to add vests and headgear to zombies (a % factor and classname list)

In all honest opinion all they need to do is turn down the aperture (as seen in a comparison shot reposted below credited to Roshnak) and give us back shadows. then it would be good. Many map makers have already taken into account when updating the aperture and they look lovely in my opinion (ie. Napf, esseker, G.O.S maps, Unsungs maps) Current lighting on altis If they turned the aperture down (Roshnak used splendid here to do so) -

There is already a mod being made with that, and to be honest i think that would stray from the mod. As the mod itself has its own story (shown by the loading screens). Long story short a plague believed to be developed by CSAT called the White Plague has killed off 90% of the female population in the world. Controlled Nuclear strikes were launched in hopes to delay or stop the plague. What this does bring to mind though would be maybe A helicopter crash system like in DayZ could be added in due to Electromagnetic interference post nukes. (kinda like the EW campaign from A2. My biggest hope is full ace compatibility so we can find ACE supplies and loot

Honestly my opinion is the new lighting is amazing. There are 3 things that Aesthetically i feel are a must Return of the proper shadows Lighting sourced from the sky based on moon phase/stars that are also able to be covered by clouds (an idea to BI on how to fix night) Increase Flare and chemlight lighting just a bit -
If possible do you think you can find a way to spawn military geared zombies at military structures (Ex. with RHS, finding a Russian Zombie with uniform and vest at NW airfield in chernarus) you can make it so they cant be looted of their gear as if the gear is contaminated or damaged to the point that its useless to take it off

My only issue so far with this map is the perm cloud cover, even if you turn overcast off.

Just a thought, if you wanted to make this work on MP so that it only worked for the person with the mod loaded maybe you can try giving the blood splats a spawn system that spawns them like the rabbits and snakes (where one person can see them but the other cant). the only downside is vaporization would have to not work due to it would need to make the body vanish on only the users screen, not the other players -
