    I've been playing a bit of FarCry 4 lately, and while it is hyperrealistic, can't help but lament the lack of dynamic interaction in Arma 3. The foes in FC4 strafe, run to cover from grenades, recoil from torso hits, you can do stealth takedowns without the rest of them lighting up your arse behind a ton of cover. Even with ragdoll physics the animations in Arma 3 are stiff and the opposite of anything convincing.

    Smarter tanks script

    alarm9k mate, it seems the latest A3 update broke the script. Gunners now point at something in the distance and fail to engage mechanized targets much of the time. I hope you can figure it out!

    alarm9k's script improve mechanised attributes, especially against infantry, but tank-on-tank AI is still very crude.
  5. Would be "harika" if we could get Turkish radio protocol in the full mod :) Hopefully it's planned!
  6. The radio PBO in this mod overrides other protocols but removing kae_sz_language.pbo seems to resolve it (at the expense of the mod itself)

  9. Thanks, that'll take all evening haha. I guess I will have to figure it out on my own. Is there a known conflict with kimi's HMD for vanilla choppers?

    Would be ace if the AI could be tweaked to detect the source of the muzzle flashes and/or directional audio when the player is cloaked.

    Tried that, but no dice. Have to disable other mods with radio protocols first. Oh well.. I have a question for the brilliant modellers of RHS, is it possible to implement recoil in vehicles at the receiving end of projectiles? Vanilla Arma should have implemented this years ago, but I wonder if it's possible to implement it using scripting.

    Seems the RU radio protocol is overriden by other mods, since I hear it in english. Another frustrating aspect in A3, you can't use mix radio protocols it seems.

First of all, after the bootcamp update I keep getting Warning Message: No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgWeapons/FACTIONXYZ_NVGoggles.sounds'. every time I use the editor, it became tiresome after a while since the loading process take a lot of time thanks to many mods used. I tried tracing it back in the RPT log to no avail, and I have all mods updated to their latest builds. Is there a way to suppress those warning messages? And there's also the endless spam of OFP2_ManSkeleton bone errors. Could it be caused by a single mod?

  21. I wouldn't want to waste anyone's time analysing my humongous RPT log! Was hoping someone was familiar with those incessant NVGoggle sound errors since they're the most prevalent. Guess I will have to try combinations of the dozens of mods I'm using. :( Thanks for reply all the same.

  23. How many maps does TKoH have, and are they a worthy addition to Arma3? I realize this is highly subjective, but I'd appreciate any input. Steam keys are relatively cheap, sans the Hind addon.
