  1. Dude you should check the version of the ArmA3 that is running on that server cause it sounds like it's a frikkin pre-alpha one...
  2. yes. 1920 is not wider than 1920 so you will get the same.
  3. 27" at 1920x1080 is horrible if you sit relatively close to it. So don't buy the 27. I would go for the LG24mb65py because of it's resolution (1920x1200) and options. That 1ms difference you have on the Iilyama is not worth buying it for.
  4. Just create a respawn module or put down some empty markers and name them respawn_west1 and so on. (if the unit you want to respawn is BLUFOR) And make sure that this is set in the description.ext: respawn = 3;

    Server does not work

    According to this log file, it is trying to load mod files from a really weird location which I suggest are your mods. If you want to put mods into ArmA3, you put their pbo's in the Addons folder of the server and then they will automatically be loaded.

    Arma 3 Steam, Paramters

    Right click ArmA 3 in your steam library > Properties > On the GENERAL tab (first one), click SET LAUNCH OPTIONS > put in the launch parameters you want. Have you checked the ArmA 3 logs? it is located at C:\Users\yourusername\appData\Local\ArmA3\ It's an RPT file.

    Server list is empty?

    Ah dang it, I confused ArmA 2 with ArmA 3 (A3 did have that magical button). I think if you have the latest patch for ArmA 2, the game will automatically show all steam servers. So please check if your game is uptodate.
  8. ah now I get what you mean. Unfortunately, that isn't possible. But I agree, you have way better targeting abilities with lower FOV's because targets are sorta "closer".
  9. why not launch this script via init.sqf and attach it to the player?
  10. Nice post formatting :) Anyways, to answer your question: can you check the logs located at C:\users\yourusername\appdata\local\ArmA3\Arma3.RPT Maybe it will mention something about the problem you have? EDIT: Log file location changed, it was wrong.
  11. A good monitor can not help you with your poor eyesight. Only glasses/lenses can. I would go for the 24" 1920x1200 because 24 is the most awesome size you can get; not too big, not too small. Can you give more detailed info about the monitors? (like brand, type, response time, etc. etc.)

    Server list is empty?

    Try and switch to the steam-only server list :) Gayspy is dead you know?
  13. Are you sure that the missions you are trying to upload are MP compatible? (mission mode/type in description.ext)

    Hmz..... I remember that I have done that before. I think you can load the 3d one into the 2d and then merge?

    MakePbo Unbinirised wrp

    Throw MakePbo in the trash and start using a program that actually works: http://www.armaholic.com/page.php?id=16369

    3 24inch monitors set up in arma 3

    lower your FOV. Having high FOV with 3 screens makes the outer screens look horribly stretched and zoomed in. Higher FOV numbers are for people (like meh) that get motion sickness if the viewing angle is too small on ONE monitor. But 3 monitors eliminate that problem because of their wideness. If you have default FOV, try lower it to 60.

    Attachto Global

    According to the wiki, attachTo only has to be executed on one client and should have a global effect. Are you sure this works?: [2.7,-.05,-5]];

    Arma 3 hacker on A3wasteland

    It would be bringing water to the sea if you ask me. But of course, you can try and get him banned.
  20. http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?156973-Utility-Arma-FOV-Changer Download that and change the FOV to default. Not sure what the default is.... maybe 70?
  21. This little example from a mission of mine should help you: [0, 0, false] spawn BIS_fnc_cinemaBorder; playSound"song3"; titleCut ["","BLACK FADED",2]; titleCut ["", "BLACK IN", 5]; showMap false; player switchCamera "External"; sleep 10; //or whatever. depends on how long you want to show the cinema borders [1, nil, false] spawn BIS_fnc_cinemaBorder; //removes the cinema borders showMap true; //allow the player to open his/her map

    WMVCore.dll is missing

    You might have already done this; but I'll give you the link anyway: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40744 The reason why you get the error is because your version of Windows does not have those components installed.

    WMVCore.dll is missing

    What about your windows updates? Are you uptodate? And has this problem been there from the start?

    WMVCore.dll is missing

    Whatever you do; do NOT download the dll from any site on the web. They can be infected with crap you don't want on your pc.
