  1. I don't know, this issue was happening yesterday night when I was hosting the game on my own machine.
  2. Do you mean after switching to the dev branch it fixes the issue? So the problem is fixed for the next update? Too bad we have to wait a long time for that update to come out. Maybe there's a hotfix coming out.
  3. I've just encountered this in the past few days and I have no idea why After about 1.5 hours of playing my FPS will drop to between 1 and 3, and after a while it slows below 1! All the models and textures go down to extremely low quality. My CPU is around 40c and my GPU around the same, so it's not that. I did have this problem before because of overheating, but I fixed it by cleaning out my PC. I was able to play for more than 3 hours at a time after that. I have no idea how to diagnose this or why it happens. This will make it completely pointless to play long sessions. I need a fix ASAP so if someone can work with me to diagnose and fix this then that would be appreciated immensely.
  4. Hey guys, I have an idea for a mission and was wondering how doable it might be with ALiVE Basically, I want to make an MSO where civilians will move around depending on what happens. So clear a town of insurgents and civilians will move back into it. If insurgents start coming back or if too many shots are fired nearby, they'll move away again Is this possible with ALiVE?   5. Silola, I know you say that it's not any kind of mission tool, but the ability to place objects and save them as a script file for use in a mission is exactly what I've needed for a long time. I just need a way to place objects to make it easier to furnish buildings and create bases for my missions, and it seems this tool is (possibly inadvertently) exactly what I've wanted. So for whatever it is, thank you for your hard work. I can't wait to try it out.

    ACRE2 Public Beta Release

    Hey Nou, how do you reckon you'll add Mumble support in the future? I heard it doesn't have anything near what TS can do when it comes to game plugins, just rudimentary support for positional audio. so it can't apply radio distortion or anything like that. I'd really love a Mumble version but I'm wondering how it might be possible.
  7. after seeing X-Cam there's no way I'll make missions without positioning objects with that. I'm actually waiting for it to come out before I start making extended bases and things

    seems to be sound issues, i get an error in the editor about weapon sounds when I select a USAF vehicle. this is happening for others?
  10. so I'm right in assuming this mod is still causing errors to pop up for everyone else? It seems certain sounds are missing, is there anything I've missed or that I can do about it?
  11. AiATP seems to be working fine in PwS, but not in Six Updater. I need it to work in SU for my dedicated server, what's going on with that?
  12. so am I right when I say this is going to be a much easier way to position objects in the world? currently I'm using GID Object Positioning System, which is a script and you have to click buttons individually just to rotate objects, but this would revolutionize mission editing for me if i want to furnish a house or make bases etc. edit: Never mind, read through and saw that it stores the object as a script file (X-Cam). I really need that, so I can't wait for release. Thank you so much
  13. SIX still not working? It shows up in SixUpdater on my dedicated server, but not in the search in PwS, and it fails to download in SU.

  15. Wait, so is AiATP currently crashing in default A1/A2 maps where A3MP isn't? I'd rather wait for a fix to AiATP before switching if this is true
  16. that's a shame. but it's worth using AiATP over A3MP so I'll just wait for Lingor A3 to hopefully come out someday

This is strange, because Lingor worked with A3MP and I even took screenshots before I uninstalled it I know technically we're not supposed to be using Lingor (Icebreaker doesn't want us to), but it would be worth looking into this sometime because why would it work with A3MP and not AiATP? It could add better compatibility to fix that issue
  18. it looks like the MEGA link for the 6 gb version isn't working (Temporary Error) and the torrent isn't giving very good speed, so I'll stay on the torrent until it's on SIX.

    Sorry, but how do you incrementally open doors? The changelog just says to hold the button and use the scroll wheel, but I tried holding space, interact, and the middle mouse button and none of them incrementally open doors.
  20. this actually sounds great. if we like it better than AGM we might just weigh the differences and consider switching. the CMS seems too complicated for my group to benefit, but if it can be reduced to something closer to AGM or ACE then that would be ideal
  21. more than anything, I was concerned that mixing AGM and CSE would result in some terrible conflict, even if it's just one part of AGM. but I might just give it a try
  22. I have a quick question for me and my group, I feel the medical system is too much. would it be hard to take this, disable the medical module, and use AGM med instead? fantastic work, by the way

    the swag walk thing is really just a small option, it doesn't matter much to me. I don't know how difficult it would be to have it so one could use either one animation or the other. I think you misunderstood what I meant by the mission scripts. in my group, there are multiple content creators who make missions in their own ways, making it difficult for them to always implement the same scripts every time. it's too casual for me to get them to use the same framework every time maybe I'm just spoiled from ACE2, but it did remove enemy markers from the map. it would just be a nice addition. I do wish a mod existed that just created player markers so it wouldn't really matter.

    Elite difficulty disables enemies on the map, but it also disables friendly units showing up. we want to keep tabs on friendlies there are ways to do this with mission scripts, but it is very difficult to make everyone use the same scripts when making missions

    I have a suggestion for AGM, let me know if this already exists somewhere else It'd be nice if AGM disabled the enemy reveal action so that enemy units won't appear on the map anymore. This is a terrible cheat during multiplayer and I don't know why it can't be turned off serverside by default. Alongside that, it would be equally important to disable player's characters calling random things, such as "Injured!" and "I'm at grid XXXXXX" "Under fire!" etc. This is extremely annoying and only takes away from gameplay we currently use mrb_a3_voicestop, but that doesn't stop enemy reveal, and it also disables enemy AI talk, which is undesired. thank you EDIT: Another thing would be the ability to choose between the default walking animation and the new one in the AGM options. I love the new animation, but sometimes I wanna swag walk
