So I'm trying to just get a look at Altis in the editor. I've placed myself and a single helicopter, yet the map refuses to load. It gives me lots and lots of wonderful tips and facts about the island of Altis, but the load-bar just hangs at approx. 50%.

Over at International Conflict, we're hoping to end this poor multiplayer pvp experience by offering users a structured weekly Team v Team campaign-based tournament for every ARMA community member to freely take part in. Everything is only beginning to take off now, but anyone is welcome. We'll be hoping to work with other communities within ARMA (For example, the before mentioned ARMA Israel) to combine and bring a monstrous playerbase in a dedicated environment to the ARMA community.

Serious injuries (graphic) - gore/violence

Now this is a feature I would love to see. However, from a gameplay point of view, it might disrupt flow as basically any explosion would render you pretty useless. Go sit in the medical tent and try not to die while we finish the mission! -
International Conflict - Team v Team Tournament - Every Sunday [IC ARMA3]
-IC-Bugs posted a topic in ARMA 3 - SQUADS AND FANPAGES
International Conflict, or IC as it's commonly known, is a Player vs Player tournament hailing from over seven successful years hosting the largest player v player tournament in Novalogic's Joint Operations. Who are we? We're a group of players who play together in an army vs army tournament using a military-style structure including Generals, HCOs, CO/XOs and specific units. IC started out in Novalogic's Joint Operations, and after creating a custom mod for the game, the Total International Conflict mod (or TIC for short), became the leading community within JO, bringing over a hundred players together on a weekly bases to battle it out over multiple maps in a massive team-orientated battle for over seven years. We are a community of players who enjoy teamwork and structure. We are friends, veterans, programmers, police officers, students, fathers and even one metal band roady! We're currently expanding from Joint Operations into ARMA3. For seven years, IC has been bringing over 100 players together weekly to battle it out in our tournaments. Being the leading community in a game for so long is an arduous task, and now we feel it's time to spread our wings and bring our unique style of gameplay to the ARMA community. What do we do? We offer a Team v Team tournament, player vs player tournament. Our tournament is broken down like this. Each player is split into an army. The army is assigned a General, and from there, the General will pick his/her units, officers and overall army theme (Name, Ranks, Uniforms, etc.) The General will then set times and dates for specific training if needed, recon of the maps to be played on battleday and formulate their opening attack moves and plans for the battle. Given either pre-determined assets, or a limited budget to purchase their own assets, it's up to the General and his/her staff to defeat the other team with the players and assets under their control. Each week, the two armies battle each other out during several hours of intense action. Utilizing Teamspeak3 and a basic command structure, each army must work together to overcome their enemy and complete their map objective(s). No third-person! No random pubby players! A structured chain of command and a chance at glory! Join up with the Infantry, Air Core, Armoured and much more! Now we're bringing our massive community and unique tournament style of play to the ARMA community and we want YOU! If you're looking for some teamwork, some fun and something you (and your clan) could get involved in, then this is for you! We want players, map makers, script writers, clans, families, anything and everything. Any questions feel free to PM me, visit us on Teamspeak or on our forums. Yes, I've noticed that. I've also always gotten a one-hit kill using 7.62 regardless of armour. Perhaps your hit reg complaint is based on your ping or indeed the server box itself as opposed to the game code?

Is the multiplayer nearly dead or is it an issue?
-IC-Bugs replied to Imonars's topic in ARMA 3 - MULTIPLAYER
We're always filling up the IC server when we decide to jump in and play. The problem in my eyes is that most people seem to be wasting their time on that useless (in my opinion!) Wasteland map/mod. We're going to be hosting a Team v Team tournament in ARMA3 and maybe that'll settle your multiplayer woes? -
We're thinking of locking our TvT tournament to first-person only, but we don't want all the Veteran etc features as well. It's difficult. On the one hand we want the game to be as realistic as possible for our tournament, but on the other we still want players to be able to come in and enjoy their time in the server on battleday, and being able to tell who is actually on your team (i.e. only seeing friendly name tags) is a great way of doing this but by enabling the Veteran mode to lock third-person we're losing our nametags.

Can't say I've noticed a problem against either AI or Players. I've seen, at times, that the lighter ammo (5.56 for example) requires a good two//three centre mass hits before bringing down an enemy, but I believe that is to do with the body armour being worn by that particular AI/Player.

We've got quite a few "old farts" over here in International Conflict (Although they'll probably beat me for calling them old!) if that's something that would interest any of you in this thread?

Should Arma 3 open a hat store on steam?
-IC-Bugs replied to craptakular's topic in ARMA 3 - GENERAL
Hats ruined the TF2 community in my opinion, anything similar in ARMA would be a disaster! -
I like it, but I do miss some of the older guns (like the AK series! :D)
