  1. Hey! So basically my lenovo laptop has been driving me crazy recently. I have been playing Arma 2 Free for quite some time now and it's pretty much awesome. I used to be able to play it smoothly on these settings (On Utes): View Distance: 1500 Texture Detail: Very High Video Memory: Default Interface Resolution: 1366x728x22 3D Resolution: 100% Anisotropic Filtering: Disabled Anti-Aliasing: 5 Terrain Detail: Very Low( I hate grass) Object Detail: Very Low Post Processing: Very High But one day, I started up Arma II Free during a project session and when I got home, I realized that it is running pathetically slow unlike before. Now it's just playable at these settings: View Distance: 1500 Texture Detail: Very High Video Memory: Default Interface Resolution: 1366x728x22 3D Resolution: 100% Anisotropic Filtering: Disabled Anti-Aliasing: off Terrain Detail: Very Low( I hate grass) Object Detail: Very Low Post Processing: Very High Also, previously I have the AA options of up to 8, but now the only AA option available to me is Low, and when I enable AA as Low now, it lags like mad. Does anyone have an idea of what in the world is going on? System info: Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit Service Pack 1 (Build 7601) RAM: 4011MB CPU: Intel® Core i5-2410M CPU @ 2.30GHz CPU Speed: 2292.8 MHz Display adapters: Intel® HD Graphics 3000, Intel® HD Graphics 3000, Nvidia GeForce GT 525M, RDPDD Chained DD, RDP Reflector Monitors: Ix; Generic PnP monitor Screen Resolution: 1366x728 -32 bit Hard disks(free) C: 508.4 GB, D: 26.2GB Methods I've tried to make it run faster - Ran Defragment - Scanned for malware, spyware and viruses - Removed unnecessary start up tasks in msconfig. - Checked task manager to see if any particular process is using a great deal of memory, none found. - Ensured preferred graphic processor in Nvidia Control Panel is High Performance Nvidia Processor. - Used CCleaner to clean up unnecessary files and to delete registry errors. - Ensured that power saving mode is set to "Maximum Performance". - Updated video drivers to newest versions, old drivers have been cleaned during installation by Driver Sweeper. - Edited GPU MaxFramesAhead and GPU DetectedFramesAhead in Arma II Free CFG file. - Switched Windows 7 theme to Windows 7 basic when running Arma II Free. Can anyone please help? I just want to play it in my old graphics. Thanks!
