I'd imagine the Spetsnaz stuff would be very in depth due to the various unit types and equipment used. Things like ballistic shields & remote control MGs on tracks like the FSB use would be awesome. Those trianglular cut ghillie suits Spetsnaz use would be cool too. A cool function for the APC's and IFV's would be for troops to be able to mount the outside and hitch a ride. I won't hold my breath though as I imagine that would be a pain in the ass and require new animations etc.- 16550 replies

I've found the SU-35 to be better and smoother after the update in our dedicated server but the mirrors flicker on and off regardless of setting (standard or low). They don't do this testing in Editor though. -

Ok, I tried to use the CSAT arty on my server and even though the assets showed I had some problems. I was using a Massi Spetsnaz soldier. 1: I put in the 8 figure grid as normal but nothing happened. It worked with map click though. I tried this in Editor with a variety of combos including BLUFOR units but once i put in the grid ref nothing happened. I also tried it on different maps. 2: When I completed the basic FFE fire mission I got an error "invalid asset" when trying to get the shown CSAT assets to fire using the Massi soldier. 3: Map click works with CSAT on CSAT and BLUFOR and RHS USF works fine. Hopefully this info will help narrow the issue, thanks. -

Not a problem Damian. I realise you guys are busy enough. Its good to know it's in the pipeline at some point though and you're looking into it. I'll dream of an RHS Mi-28 in the meantime while using the meh vanilla one. Ta- 16550 replies

The gun and dumb rockets should both be pilot controlled I think also. Funnily enough if it was a KA50 and the FLIR was better that would be fine with the narrow field of view. Telling the pilot to move here and there is silly but a single seater recce heli would suit this method. A revised KA-52 would be a massive 'game changer' for our GU as its primarily attack heli based for the foreseeable future. Thanks guys, keep up the good work it's appreciated.- 16550 replies

We've been using the KA-52 in our GU and it's great apart from the weapon sites for the gunner. It's go an extremely restricted field of view. Does the real one not pivot in its ball shaped casing to squire targets in a wider arc? The FLIR is a little underpowered too. If it was more powerful like the Raven Q11 mod FLIR it would be much better for acquiring targets at range (4k). We've found it too restrictive and had to switch to the CSAT gunship until either a Mi-28 appears or an alternative sight is available.- 16550 replies

VAnilla OPFOR (CSAT) works now but RHS Russian doesn't. Is it maybe to do with cross faction stuff i.e MSV officer to TV arty? EDIT: I can get a Massi Spetsnaz and a RHS MSV officer to connect to a vanilla CSAT arty piece but not the RHS Russian ones. -

Right then, i figured out why I've had problems with this mod and had it working before. It doesnt work with OPFOR at all with or without my mods. It works fine with RHS USF and vanilla BLUFOR and doesn't with vanilla OPFOR or RHS Russians. btw if you get a functional chemical and tac nuke artillery mod on the go i might pee my pants with excitement :) GAS GAS GAS !!! -

The mod prompts me to use "item radio" but I use TFAR so its a FADAK in my case. I can't connect to the assets this way. I've put down some Bm21's to test in server. -

OK, got another issue. Uploaded the repo fine. Files show on the server. I can update and download to my A3S no problem as i have all the credentials filled in. But when I, or anyone else, use the autoconfig url it is stuck on 'connecting to repository.....' Any ideas? Does the repo need to have a http autoconfig url or ftp? -

I switched the server OS to windows and got everything going in 5 mins. I know nothing about Linux..... Lesson learned: stick to what you know. -

I have recently set up a FTP server for hosting my repo but have run into an error. Once I've built my repo and try to upload it i get a 550 error as it can't create a remote directory. I can access the server fine via FTP using the same login details through Filezilla. I can also upload via A3S to the game server but it doesn't allow downloading to other people which is fair enough (thus creating the FTP server). NFO support don't really know whats wrong. Please help. -

While we're on the subject of AI can anyone tell me how MCC spawned AI and AGM interact? Everything looks to work from the testing I've done so far. I'm just curious of one over rides the other. I suppose the AGM config must dictate accuracy etc and GAIA is more the behaviour but I can't tell.
