  1. BTW any chance that you could convert these missions into COOP?

    Well i could convert, but right now i'm kinda short on free time!

    Maybe some time later!

    Some things would need testing online (not possible for me right now) since scripts work a bit different when in multiplayer and i suck at scripting (know some basic, enough to make a decent mission)

    If i do that probably would make it ACE compatible!

Yes, I've tried a few of these from somewhere, but I'll give this a go, haven't yet found anything that sits as well as the colour I have now, although its always monitor dependent and of course you can't get that quality on YT, after the upload it looks pretty bad compared to the 'live' monitor.. :(

    Yeah, all dough i use different color tweaks for certain maps!

    The command i gave you i use mostly for padagorsk map

    "colorCorrections" ppEffectAdjust [1, 1.6, -0.005, [0.0, 0.0, 0.1, 0.3], [1, 1, 1, 1.3], [0.4, 0.4, 0.4, 4]]; "colorCorrections" ppEffectCommit 0; "colorCorrections" ppEffectEnable true;

    Red value is for adding a little brightness 1=default

    Blues value is for how dark the shadows will be 0=default (any value below 0 will be dark, recommend not using below -0.015) for chernarus and similar maps around -0.005

    Green value is for adding RGB colors [Red,Green,Blue, Intensity] 0=default (i added 0.1 for blue and 0.3 for intensity, gives the game a little blue effect to the dark areas

    Your might remove the blue effect and set it to 0.0 and will give you something like you are using in your video!

    Gray value is for adding color to the game: 1=default (below 1 makes the game black and white, above gives more color) i keep my values to 1.3 or 1.5

    Purple value is for color intensity 0=default

    You can experiment with the values to get the best color for your monitor!

    this is for default Arma color

    So you can compare!

    Set trigger to repeat and you can switch back and forth between colors

    Confirmed - I just tried again & got the correct file. The page now looks & behaves differently, Sendspace must have cleaned it up very quickly after I contacted them.

    Will inform moderators to that effect.

    Both fasternated.org and, especially, coolina.com are flagged on Virus Total as hosting (wittingly or not) a number of dodgy files inclusing some that attempt to communicate out of a sandboxed machine but are not detected by the various AV engines. The sites are now going into my Windows hosts file to block them permanently.

    Which sites would you recommend uploading the file!

    MISSION INFO

    Mission names;

    -Sky Condor (your team is para-droped behind enemy lines to destroy the Radar, supply trucks and eliminate camp comander)

    -Red Ball Express (you aproach the beach in a zodiac boat and must reach the train transporting the SCUD launcher to destroy it)

    -Escort Service (Find the mission Pilot and escort him back, also eliminate the high ranking officer, blow up the bridge and ammo cashes)

    Missions are design as an old Ghost Recon type gameplay, limited visibilaty and straight forward objectives

    get in, complete objectives and get out!

    Each mission is played with a 4 man team!

    Player is the team leader.

    Stealth is the key!

    You will need some knowledge on how to control your team members in order to successfully complete objectives

    Make sure you play the mission on "veteran" difficulty

    To make the AI more chalenging go to your \documents\ArmA2\profile

    and set class veteran to:

    skillFriendly=1;

    skillEnemy=0.7;

    precisionFriendly=0.9;

    precisionEnemy=0.5; /////////how accurate will the enemy be

    Bonus Features

    Mission has custom "Color Filter"

    You can access the bonus features with a radio command by pressing 0-0

    Mission was not design for ACE mod so if you play it using ACE mod mission might be out of balance!

    Usually if i play with ACE mod i enable "SuperAI" because the AI in ACE mod tend to be slower in reaction

    and weapon accuracy do to recoil of the weapon!

    You need to release a GTA4 voice pack or at least the scripts. I have GTA4 so I can pull the sounds myself.

    Can you produce a video with with Alienz mod? Would be funny with GTA 5 voices and Aliens. West Coast Alien Invasion! :D

    Actually i wasn't using script for the voices, just recorded them from GTA 4 and then added when i was editing the footage!

    I made so many Machinima videos in ArmA 2 and i think the Predator is the last i'm gonna do in ArmA 2 for now!(who knows in the future maybe i'l come back and do a few more)

    Right now i have two Machinimas in GTA 4 i started working on 3 months ago so i will try and finish those and take a break from those cinematic videos!


  7. Hi everyone!

    Some of you who played GTA 4 maybe familiar with an ENB for that game.

    It can make a game look photo realistic!

    The thing is, that ENB was specifically design for that game, unfortunately there is no proper ENB for ArmA 2!

    If there were one, the drawback of an ENB would be a serious performance hit on the PC (we all know how demanding ArmA 2 already is, any FPS loss in this game is bad)

    Since i like cinematography and photography, also making Movie like videos in ArmA 2, i like experimenting with a color!

    Now i'm gonna post some Screenshots of default ArmA 2 look and tweaked look!

    It is all done using a simple command in editor trigger or a script.

    Just to say that there is no performance loss using this command!

    This command will not turn your game into something amazing, you will still need a good PC, this is just a bonus on top of the cake

    Here is a video from an early stage testing.

    In this video it was combination of color tweak in game an in editing software, just to get an idea of what kinda look i wonna achieve!

  8. I need a small flat map maybe 2 x 2 km...no objects except small grass!

    I like using 3D editor in arma to place objects and make a small CQB missions for SP and MP

    I made something similar in my Coop mission Kill Zone:

    There is one Blank map i found for testing but it's for Arma 2 (not compatible with Arma 2 OA, some texture and bushes missing)

    If anyone can make something like that i would appreciate it very much!


  9. Awesome videos man. You definitely have hang on machinima's. Keep it up. How the hell did you get all the blue filter in Kill Zone on objects and units instead the island is just normal color. Really great. My congrats and I'm looking forward to some more.

    Well i experimented with a color filter command in ArmA and i gave the darker colors a bit of blue touch

    This is the command i use in my mission;

    ""colorCorrections"" ppEffectAdjust [1, 1.2, -0.01, [0.0, 0.0, 0.1, 0.25], [1, 1, 1, 1.4], [0.4, 0.4, 0.4, 3]]; ""colorCorrections"" ppEffectCommit 0; ""colorCorrections"" ppEffectEnable true;

    Just paste this in a "Triger" or a "script" and execute it (i use this command only for desert maps, for tropical and europian maps i use a different command)

  11. Just tested a battle using DAC on Hazar-Kot map, the game runs fine (even when recording with fraps at 1680x1050) when using JSRS 1.4

    I instaled JSRS 1.5 and the mission is unplayable even without recording, its stutters all the time...FPS is all jumping like crazy

    Mods used in the both tests:

    -ACE

    -ACEX

    -Blastcore

    -ASR_AI

    I have ARMA 2 CO v1.62

    PC;

    Gforce GTX 660ti OC

    i5-3570 3.4Ghz

    8GB ram

    Anyone else has this problem???
