    AAF Special Forces

    Nice little addition. Even NATO lacks SF - only recon soldiers. Perhaps some units in A-TACS to go along with their fellow brothers here: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthread.php?170485-AAF-A-TACS-Camo-Units?

    I know its rude and all to push developers to release stuff, but I do agree with the notion above that we arent lacking with present day weapons instead we're short of vehicles (very I should say). There are plenty of M4's and M16's mods out there, but none for like Humvees, Abrams, Strykers, LAV's, etc.

    I reckon to show the bearing and direction for the HUD, have a compass + number bearing combo. What do you reckon?

    Nice! I can see the AAF using this camo for overseas operations and expeditions. Perhaps consider some of these guys dressed for UN Peacekeeping (probably just a blue helmet) just like what BIS did for A2's UNO faction?

    I kind of agree with wipman. Although I guess the 34 configuration is optional, so we can put cargo there instead of soldiers?
  11. Very glad to see this coming to A3! I was really looking forward to the upgrade towards the G variant. Hope this eventually comes out down the track.

    I believe the F35's are coming in to replace the F16's. Thats what many nations are seem to be doing too - they're bringing in the F35's to replace their old fighters.

  14. Sabre's got 666 posts. I think he wants to keep that. :P I wouldn't mind seeing this mod fixed up and updated either. Also Cross's suggestions seem to be pretty cool too. Perhaps also make a replacement config to replace default NATO troops with these?
  15. C-17!! Yes!!! Definitely looking forward to this. Also curious to see how the KC-135 will work in A3 in terms of aerial refueling aircraft. There was an aerial-refueling module for A2 released, perhaps that mod could be the basis for the KC-135's feature. Best of luck!

    Replacing Weapons

    It is possible to achieve this by just putting some codes in the initialization box of a unit in the editor. - First remove the weapon from the unit. this removeWeapon "insert_weapon_classname_here"; - Then remove the weapons magazine. this removeMagazines "insert_weapons_magazines_classname_here"; - Next add the magazines for the new weapon so when the unit spawns, the weapon is loaded. this addMagazines ["insert_weapons_magazine_classname_here", NumberOfMagazinesYouWant]; - Next add the desired weapon to the unit. this addWeapon "insert_weapon_classname_here"; Done. ------- However if you only play published missions, then you'll need a mod that does the above. And it will have to be a global variable too so that it replaces the weapons of all of the factions AR unit.
  21. I reckon we shouldnt worry too much about having to do heaps of research around just to find out if the real counterpart actually does reverse. If it is possible to do such a thing in A3, then by all means add it. If its not, then just forget it and move on.

    Wait what? Do you mean rope onto buildings from ground SF style? How do you do that?
  24. I believe zach72 requested that the aircraft be able to move backwards on ground for easier navigation around strips, taxiways etc.

    I believe the IDWS system wasnt part of the craft in the first place, rather it was developed after they thought of adding some firepower to some of them. Id love to see an AV-22 gunship if one would take the initiative of creating a heavily armed Osprey. It would be great for A3's fictional timeline.
