Anyone else concerned about ARMA 3 launch September?

sorry, just stood up:D we dont play public, and mostly my own missions in COOP. but yesterday we tested operation wirecut, which i adjusted for 3 players, usually its Coop@2. But... 1. Same in editor 2. Same in editor 3. Same in editor 4. Ok, seen that only in MP so far. Again im about to release my first mission soon, i love the game, but so far without having seen the full release im a bit dissapointing about the amount of bugs. And it annoys me a bit that they add new fancy watchtowers just for the optics, cause the AI is bugging them. There are hatches too! if those works for AI i dont complain about i cant hit them but they me;-=)! but yea, would be a feature and as we can see more important things are there for AI. basic things! -

@Chortles We played on the DEV branch. First to see what might be fixed in the next patch & of course, whats not and secound cause finally the task modules seems to work, which i must say is a nice improvment, even if i got my scripts ready for tasks. Are you sure that most of the fixes are not working for multiplayer, or did i missunderstood? -

Afer some coop sessions today, yea im really concerned. lets say, sure it will be a more polished release than Arma 2, but this is not enough i think. The problem remains cause the engine has some hardcoded bugs which they might never be able to fix. 1.Still Super AI 4 weeks before official release. I cant believe they will do all the AI work in that time, lets see. KI is cheating which some videos showed. They know your position, they detect you like they have X-Ray Vision. 2.AI is glitching trough walls, still not fixed. If this isnt a serious bug...?! They dont do often, but they do. 3.Watchtowers, they look good, they would be great for the gameplay. AI is laying down in them, glitching through the wall, shooting you, but you cant hit em. If you code them to only stand up, they HANG in the seeling or do other "funny" things. nice immersion killer + gamebreaker. 4.Immersion Killer, DEAD PEOPLE standing up and living for 1 secound again, comon, still, really? the list goes on and on, as you can see on the feedbacktracker, i wonder if this was a good idea to do again for BIS. now they can show all the bugs, from which they can fix maybe 10% at all. This is really sad. Well i will play it, and i will create missions for it, cause i love it and i hate it;-) There would be 1000 positive things to say OF COURSE, but im really dissapointed so far that there are still so many bugs. -
Overall you can say that there is not really any surprises in that stream, sadly so are no questions answered for the hardcorecommunity. On one side im sad because it seems like there are less vehicles and models overall, on the otherside im happy if the release is much more stable. To the devs: Civilians and ambient traffic, are they as complex as they were in Arma 2? (same features or dumbed down in any way)/ are there female civilians again? Will we see a better looking rain system and will it be in the DEV build? Im looking forward really much to the full release and like the most people, of course to explore Altis with my buddy. Thanks for the best new sandbox (ever?!)!

yes we did, are they simulated correctly? well that would explain it, my buddy mentioned that yesterday... on the otherside a shot in the face shot be deadly then right -

We tested a mission with silenced weapons yesterday and noticed that the penetration with silencers is bugged/or very unrealistic. Clear headshots should allways kill, no matter from what distance, often they dont. i searched on the tracker but didnt find a ticket for it. im aware that silencers lower the penetration of a round, but headshots, which dont kill? -

Me and my friend just tried the mission, but for some reason the AI is in danger mode without having seen us. this makes the mission VERY hard. i tried to edit it and saw that you set them to careless. dont know whats the problem;-( Overall it would be a great small mission! -

We can only hope Jonas Scholz will release the RTE for Arma3...! At least you have easy object placement then. -

@Johnson11B2P Well, sure, able to use (with some search) a script instead of using the modules. But would be sad if the modules are here finally for easy creation and then they dont work. i think we should work with the modules so we can report bugs, so they might fully work in the gold release! @Sergant Rock I tried to bring them in order the following way. desynced all tasks from the player and then sync them back again in the order i wanted them. didnt work...;-(? -

Yes, indeed, Coop would be great if it is without too many annoying bugs. But 1. They clearly sayed it wont have Coop 2. Im pretty sure it would be full of bugs again -

Task Modules do work for me fine in multiplayer ATM. but i host games, no dedi. very happy about the fact that there´s progress with the modules since i love to work in the editor only without having to switch to dekstop.
