What are the teams plans, if any, for static objects like barricades, wall, communications towers, etc. As a mission maker I'd love to include more objects like that into mission for more ambiance, and for cool gameplay.Map objects of varying degrees are planned for the near future.

It shouldn't have to be necessary, I know that this mod is standalone but a lot of players will be using this mod with the Covenant mod, as the two will probably suit each other. You shouldn't have to group every insurrectionist to Independent in the missions you want UNSC v Insurrectionists v Covenant, or just Insurrectionists v Covenant.While that may be true, it does not change the fact that they are, in fact, two different mods. We have said we will look at it and consider possible solutions, but we have no obligation to address it.

So is there no way to disable the medical system for individual units? If so, that's very unfortunate.

cool, give them six months to sort out the AI behaviour in the bush so they're not x-ray sighted laser terminators and we'll be good to go!this is good though, i just wish we could find a way to change the in game UI graphics so they dont look all hexagonal and futuristic, as this really spoils the nam feel.
BIS gave us the option to change the colours of the UI but if they could allow different UI themes (menu types, shapes, etc) to be developed by modders that would be even better...
I44 did this in A2. Don't see why it wouldn't be possible.

May I ask, what happened to the Greek and British accents for the UNSC AI? Playing with them gave a nice sense of inter-nationality...I hope you bring them back for the hotfixThey were never removed.

I have no clue if this has already been mentioned or not but are there any plans to add/adjust some ODST battle armour that is camouflaged like in the games?Got any examples, I've never heard of this before.

1. As far as items goes, is there any real difference between defining them as a magazine or a weapon? I have a lot of small items that'll be carried by my Soldiers, Marines and Sailors and I want to make sure I pick the right one. Right now as weapons, the mass of the items isn't working.2. How do I make my own first aid kit and compass? Both in the game are wrong for the 90s. The first aid kit should be the GI field dressing and the compass should be the one from ArmA2.
3. Any thoughts on making the M17 gas mask a "goggle" so you can use it with your helmet?
4. Any thoughts on how to be able to equip small items like a gasmask carrier, gloves and knee pads? Can I create my own proxies like the vest, headgear and backpacks?
1. ArmA 3 now has actual items that can be defined as such. Take a look at ACE3, my own SC Inventory Items, or a variety of other mods for examples of this.
2. Just create your own items then inherit from the necessary classes. So, like your field dressing would inherit from "FirstAidKit" and then you would just change the name, mass, model, etc. (Dunno about compasses though)
3. Yes, it's very simple. Just make the gasmask, rig it to the "Head", then define it under CfgGlasses instead of CfgWeapons.
4. Yes, sort of. What you can do is make these various additions hiddenselections on your helmets, vests, and uniforms. So, for example, lets say you have a uniform you want to have optional kneepads on, you can add these kneepads, then make a selection in oxygen (object builder) called "attach_kneepads", then hide it via config on uniforms that dont need it.
I strongly encourage looking at the sample models, or even unpacking ArmA 3 pbos to get a deeper understanding of everything. It will make your life alot easier in the future. If you need anymore help just PM me.

No ideas? It's basically the same concept as how the AA jet's sidewinders alternate from left to right.

Hi, I'm trying to make a weapons system that has twin launcher tubes that fire AA missiles (similar to an Igla Pod). However, I can't seem to figure out how to make them alternate when firing. Atm, all the missiles simply fire from the first tube.

I'm not from the mod team but just tried it with latest CBA and got many errors. So I assume you need to downgrade.What all are you running. The newest update works fine with CBA on our end.

The .rvmat files that determine a textures general look (reflectiveness, bumpiness, etc.). I can explain this to you in greater detail via PMs.

What do you mean it doesn't show up? Like the Expansions menu is empty? OPTRE doesn't come with any missions built-in, you'll have to whip up your own stuff in the editor.
