  7. Hey guys, I'm going to make a pack full of combat-oriented inventory items for people to use in their missions and such. It will add everything from bandages and morphine to individual bullets and empty magazines. I hope to release many items through this pack. If you have ANY requests, post them and I may do them. Note: This will not include any actual models, sadly, as I have no modelling experience whatsoever.

  10. Hello, I'm creating an addon that adds misc inventory items such as bandages, morphine, etc. However, I have no idea how to model and am not going to make any new models. So, my question is: Does anyone know the path for the generic magazine placeholder model? Its the model that almost all the items(map,watch,compass) use.

    Alone they dont really have a purpose, no. But, I'm going to be using alot of the items for scripts in mission, and I'm going to release this so other scripters can do the same.

    The items will be things you can pick up and put in your inventory. However, they will just look like a little MOLLE pouch(similar to watches,compasses,etc.) when they are dropped on the ground.

    what ammo box did you use? If you arent using a box then its just additem. EDIT: Just realized, the shemaghes and hoods are goggles, so to add them to a unit you would do addgoggles. not sure about boxes.

  19. This looks great! After reading your blog and resume, it's clear that you know what you're doing and how to do it. However, I feel like your enthusiasm and passion for this subject is whats going to make it great.

    ^ that picture is SO tiny. Also, when a player is standing near a burning vehicle, they seem to get "burned". There's also several scripting commands such as isBurning. I could imagine creating "burning" points all within the blast radius or something like that, but I don't know how well that'd work.
  21. Hey, just a few sound related issues I have. -Explosives (IEDs, Satchels, etc.) have no sound at all -Most vehicles just play the engine noise and no driving noises (skidding, traction, engine revving, etc.) Are you aware of these issues and are they common, or is something wrong?

    Yeah that invisible man glitch is due to missing pbos. I had the same problem when i tried to just load GROM guys. EDIT: I assume SCO should work fine as well testing now.
