Imagine What Next Gen In Arma Would Look Like

should this be an arma3 thread or it should be an ARMA4 wishlist? If its for ARMA4 it should be made taking the best of the futures APIs, in arma3 is not used all the tricks available from directx11 neither from physx, also even when the huge map is awesome i dont see anyone using all of it, maybe if we have ships and aircraft carriers and trains or proper misiles not scripted like the scud from arma2 if the map will get exponentially bigger we need better vectors. And something that is missing from all arma series.. virtual systems, radars, firing directors systems, comunications systems(like ACRE) but implemented directly into the game engine, the "nextgen" ARMA should have the inputs to create the more important systems in todays battlefields information systems with less scripting, we need awacs, longrange radars linked(maybe via modules) to AA stations, also the capability to transmit information from one vehicle to another, in aircraft the datalink is something that cannot be missing -

For what OFP could handle those models were impresive, the idea is to add uvmaps were it wasnt add some geometry and props, but the overall is an excellent guide to work on. The P82 is open to anyone who wants to contribute actually Cimalex is Italian, he is the proyect leader, if I didnt make a SeaHarrier or a HarrierGR3 is cause maybe someone in the UK could want the chance of do it, but at the end is more important to create the assets. War didnt solve anything to anybody, argentina keeps out of the falklands, the british expend a lot of money protecting it -

Thanks! We need to add a lots of vehicles yet, the only problem I having right now is trying to make the Shaffir Mk2 of the mirage nesher autolocking like the stinger or strela but doesnt seems to work, and scripting some effect for the fuel trank drop in order to gain some agility and make it useful, we have some Argentine voices from OFP made by salmon, maybe we could create a config for that. Those M2 for AA would definitly be made sooner or later Argentina used some similar too. A napalm version of the pucara would be a nice option to update and upload the would aircraft pack. I dont know if some M21 went to the war but there are information about the use of the Garand Beretta 7.62 with nightvision, and the mauser with sniper scopes, we made for the old ARMA1 a simple model of the garandberetta wich we could re use, yet is not very accurate BM59 -

Well I give it a good lock distance and misile speed based on the info found in wikipedia, I adjusted the damage to kill at directhit and take half-health of an skyhawk(+ being deviated by the hit) the manouvrability is a litle higher than the AIM9 of arma2, but at that speed tends to fall at horizontal flying aircraft -

I was working on the invencible from CBFSI and decide to make a new sea dart launcher about the Invencible i work well as static, I added some scripts to spawn harriers via attachto and release them, I will be working on the textures, and will test again if is posible to make it a proper drivable ship -

I was trying to create my own mortar addon, but I'm stucked with same problem that bis had in the past, the mortar flys with the recoil of the weapon. I dont know how to fix it, I dont know if is some physx variable, or something to do with those "weaponfake" or even if its the model. Anyone has a clue? //=solution the mortar NEEDS the recoil animation to work, and a heavy geometry mass.

You were right, my animation for recoil had some problems, so it didnt play, the mortar seems to need this otherwise the recoil goes to the entire object -
this could be a winner in Make Arma Not War, I dont like dayz but I would definitly pay for a good dino hunting experience

Some work porting the CBFASI MLODS from FLK MOD for Operation Flashpoint, we must not confuse cause these models are from OFP era they got a very good general quality, we will have to update parts of the models and textures, yet the harder part are the config and mlods wich changed a lot since OFP. Its impresive the model quality of this files. I think I'm in love with one addon, that SU35 is epic. the only thing i find weird is the speed of the trustvectoring movements, it just moves instantly -
Great gun, but ARMA3 has no mercy with the shaders, sure it would look more awesome in the future
