    I must have misread it, it says slow / weak.. where is the realism part? Also this game is based on realism not Arma 3 the real world.... I love realism but it isn't present in this game.

    The only thing I really want from a CAS plane in this game is the ability to have a co piliot and be able to laze / tv guided missles that is something I miss... The Buzzard does its job as a SUPPORT craft...
  3. The test I used to prove this was placing an Ifrit at 400m and placing a shot directly at the driver through the window with no angle. I got bounce after bounce, I emptied my clip and he drove away. the counterpart, the lynx can penetrate the front glass in one shot and kill the driver. My issue with this is the real life version of the m320 may not be an anti material weapon but surpasses the kinetic energy of a 50cal at 400m. anyone else have an opinion?

  6. Hey guys I was playing around with the parachuting aspect of the beta... Ive been placing parachutes on the backs of AI's and kicking them out of the door of a helo and it all works FANTASTIC... but, I would like to be able to force the AI to hold the chute until they hit ~170m above the ground, as of right now they deploy around 400m or so and its annoying to have to wait for them to land and regroup. Anyone have ideas on how to hotfix this?
  7. Is anyone else having issues with this module not working correctly?? When I start a blank map and make a helicopter and a player unit the module works great. If I make a full mission, enemies and all the helicopter freezes above its landing point and never drops down to pick me up. I read somewhere else the reason why this was happening was because the helicopter detected an enemy unit... is that valid and why should it really matter if you need to land it a hot zone... it is a sim LOL

    my typical statement, wp1= sol1 addwaypoint [Mrkr,1]; wp1 setWaypointType "Move" and done. If you want to make it more fancy.... then sure you could do that if you want them to sneak or be a lazy patrol.
  9. Yeah I found what I had done. I was trying to set the position with a group and not a Units name... Haha bit rusty but I figured it out.
  10. Hey everyone, I am by no means a professional scripter nor coder.. I used to make alot of Arma2 missions in my free time with the occasional script here and there for optimization and dynamics. I started making missions again in Arma3 using the editor as much as possible without scripting but some processes just need a script. Here is an example of what I used to use in arma2 for a waypoint. wp0= super1 addWaypoint [blutrigger,1]; wp0 setWaypointType "Move" just a real basic add and set script.. works great in Arma2, I use the same script in A3 and it asks for 3 missing elements or something else... and example or help would be appreciated to help me understand a little better.
  11. Up until a day or so ago I have had zero issues with alpha and beta... I got on today tried to join one of my usual servers and BAM, I see good ole Stratis looking right back at me. The progress bar never appeared so I pressed ESC, tried tried tried tried again.... I checked my version, .72.1 matches all others servers so the question is??     Stuck on load screen when joining multiplayer

    Yeah, I thought the same when it first started. It ended up being my Router being a turd. Its all good now.
