    Yeah, would be cool if they told us this before releasing the alpha.. Their new vision sucks IMO, I liked the arma2 vision better and you would expect the vision to stay the same for an Arma sequel.. ---------- Post added at 16:43 ---------- Previous post was at 16:42 ---------- Does that mean the F-35 and Osprey got axed too?

This is going to ruin the campaign experience for me, if I have to wait weeks before I can continue where I left off then I'm better off waiting until all the episodes are released which probably is like ~3-4 months after release... Well.. I see they have updated the vehicle list, and added the A 143 Buzzard jet fighter. So im guessing since they have updated the list and only added 1 plane, it means we are only getting one plane (I dont consider UAVs planes btw).

    There is alot of different ways to simulate a suppression effect, not just the A2 way or the BF3 way. For example if we at least had better sounds of bullet impacts close to your player, or better sounds for bullets flying past/over your head that would already help alot. The current sounds do not stimulate that "Oh shit I need to take cover or I will get shot" feeling, currently its more like meh.. Other then just the sounds an increased weapon sway while being suppressed would also be nice, again to simulate the fear you would have in real life that is preventing you from firing back till the enemy reloads or something. Conclusion? This effect doesnt neccesarily have to be done with the oh so feared blur effects, there are alot of alternatives.. Also when I said, I want more of a challenge against AI. I did not mean smarter or better AI, I meant having additional suppression effects against AI, to allow for better gameplay experience while playing against AI, it would be another factor to keep in mind while playing. So no, Im not asking the mechanic to fix the brakes instead of the tires, im asking for nice covers on the wheels (because fixing the tires is obvious and should be done in the first place).

    I actually ussually agree with MetalCraze, you dont like his messages because they are against your opinion too? Anyway thats not what I meant, I mean like someone already mentioned, your answers are vague and puzzling, like I have absolutely no idea what you are talking about sometimes.

    lol, well if you read the whole sentence you will see that I put (PvP) behind wasteland, therefore with wasteland I mean PvP players (just as an example since lot of pvp guys play wasteland..). The connection? Well some people here claim that using suppression effects equals killing your opponent with "lame effects" instead of using "skill" (<fastest mouse..), while not everyone that wants these suppression effects plays pvp in the first place. Dude, what part of it would be optional dont you understand?

    I think the terrifying blur effects made them miss this. Anyway they keep forgetting that not everyone plays wasteland (PvP). And that there are people who play coop and would love to have more of a challenge against AI, but hey who cares about those people..

    What's the point if everytime you explain someone "what he isnt getting", there comes a new guy that doesnt bother reading the past arguments and skips most of the posts just to say: Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that I dont care about this decision at all, and thats why I will now have to stay here insulting the people that do care, because all this complaining is bothering me and its not like I can just ignore this thread you know?

    Dunno if all you said is directed to me, but if you look at my post, I never said I was for or against a suppression effect for players.. I just find it funny how Anachoretes claims that people who play without respawn dont need the extra effects, and that they are "satisfied with the natural". I dont feel like taking part of yet another endless discussion, my only point is speak for yourself.

    Dude. Dunno about you, but to me this means polishing/finishing existing features. Not adding features that the "Hardcore community" has been begging for, for years.

    The amount of BIS "fanboys" on this forum is too damn high, defending every wrong mistake the devs make by giving the impression "We, the community, love you". We dont need planes, an editor or multiplayer either, because the community will fix this and why would you complain? The game is smooth and accessible so who cares about the rest. And when good arguments (post #5459) are given just fucking ignore them completely, typical.
