  1. This was answered over on the Arma 3 Aegis discord but for those wondering, Bohemia recently added a new hiddenSelection to the Zamak which Aegis uses to fix the white wheels on pre-Apex Zamak trucks.

     

    Simply add:

    hiddenSelections[] =
    {
        camo1,
        camo2,
        camo3
    };

    Or alternatively another texture path (ex: "\A3\Soft_F_Beta\Truck_02\Data\Truck_02_chassis_CO.paa") to "hiddenSelectionsTextures" to fix this.

    Oh yeah, the AAF Crew Helmet is also from Arma 2, but none of the other helmets are.

     

    Also that first picture of the To-199 is from an Arma 3 mod.

    Mora and Gorgon don't count. The Arma 2 Pandur is from a mod I believe, and has literally nothing in common with the Gorgon model down to the polygons. The Arma 3 Mora is a completely upgraded version of the Arma 2 Warrior with tons of new detail is completely re-UVed with new textures. Also, you forgot the Hellcat. 😛

     

    The Merlin and Pawnee are from Take on Helicopters but I wouldn't count them because they're not from Arma 2 and still pretty different from that game considering... y'know, they're armed.

  6. Hey. Can we please get hiddenSelections for binoculars and NVGs? It 100% works - no reason to use duplicates of models for retextures.

    The worst performance in the whole history of Arma and so on, worst modding community ever in the Arma history, its pretty diffrent, so if you want a bad gaming experience you just need A3, do not worry.

     

    Imagine making an account just to shit on a game.

  8. Applying custom materials to the Ifrit via hiddenSelectionsMaterials or setObjectMaterial breaks the Ifrit's shadows. This issue seems to fix when you have two of the same models spawned, within range of each other for both objects' shadows to render.

    Also I think hiddenSelectionsMaterials breaks the glass hiding from damage too.

    A question. Do you plan to add a tank for British Forces faction? Either a Slammer (in Armaverse it's considered to be NATO standard in 2030's) including it's specialized variants like Scorcher and Sandstorm. Or Kuma perhaps?

    Altough IMHO BAF in Armaverse 2030's could use same MBT's as US. So Slammer, Scorcher, Sandstorm and even Panther, Bobcat and Cheetah. And supplement these with either Marshal or Gorgon.

     

    Also will you expand USMC faction with vehicles?

    BTW Keep up a great job at expanding vanilla factions, it makes game certainly more interesting. 🙂
