Just checking in, sadly I haven't been able to find a fix. I've just stopped playing Dayz completely since it's pointless if you can't use vehicles. Until either someone finds a fix or a patch comes out, I'm going to be sticking to ArmaIII.

I've tried completely deleting all Arma 2 content and reinstalling, bug still persists.

Ever since yesterday, I get stuck in freelook whenever I enter a vehicle. Freelook is also bugged such that the camera is stuck centered below the player and pointed upwards at all times. This makes using vehicles impossible, and nothing I've been able to do has done anything to stop this from happening.

I've tried the following:

-Restarting the game

-Uninstalling Dayz

-Uninstalling all expansion packs, bug still persists in vanilla Arma2

-Reinstalling Arma2

-Restarting my computer

-Unplugging my USB joystick

-tapping alt twice, tapping num-asterisk, and changing the keys in the controls menu

-Launching Arma2 without steam

If you know of a way to fix this, please let me know. I haven't been able to use vehicles at all since this has been happening, making it impossible to fully play mods such as DayZ.

It also might be good to note that this bug does not occur whilst playing Arma3.
