Yes, we really need something similar to the boat rack but for the Liberty hanger so we can get helicopters in, and out of the hanger.

I assume there'd be issues with rotors going into the sides of the hangar and then exploding everything, so it'd be probably limited to 1 helicopter which the hangar can fit 2 if rotors are folded.

Could it be that the hangar gates are a little bit too narrow for a Ghost Hawk?

I've been trying to fly a ghost parked in the hangar to the landing deck, but the main rotor is being destroyed at the gates.   :{O

I will try to make a video of it later.

Experienced this issue too, sad you can't taxi the ghosthawk like you can with the UH-60 in real life, with wheels.

Not really, I've not seen this behavior during engagement with either AI set targets or myself as a UAV operator, would it be possible to capture this in a video and what is the rate of reliance that you see this occuring?

At first I thought its just random malfunction of (was it ever implemented?) the missiles but i'll try to recreate it. I reckon its just a splended camera bug but it definitely didn't explode or go to the correct trajectory.

Also, is there any hiddenselections for the 4 dozen TVs in the destroyer? And what'd be the use for the briefing room screen and desk, like any dedicated area to put it.

i hope they will fix this , ist really easy to avoid the SAMs, because they are slow to turn, just fly circles lol. (my pc likes to autocorrect its to ist)

Yeah I agree the SAMs need a buff, with the newer jets you can throttle 100 and just fly away after a couple turns.

Also, FYI, you can load the gunboat, CRRC, SDV, and the RIB into the boat rack.

You can also put HEMTT and Marshall :f:

The 120mm platform isn't aligned perfectly with her bow and rotating it will cause it to fly in ArmA physics. But I think this is from me firing it I don't know.

Having some trouble with the quoting (haven't used this since an update somewhere...)  but you should be able to fit a ghosthawk down the center, the hangar was designed to accomodate its rotors span.

Alright thanks, i'll play in Eden some more just thought it went into the back a bit much.

    And there is this bug.

  7. Even when the Radar is destroyed the SAM can still locate and fire soon after (CSAT Rhea).

Small diameter bomb can't be selected on the Buzzard/Gryphon? Not sure if intended.

And the hangar on the Destroyer is very small so you can't really properly fit a Ghosthawk (let alone AWACS :D), so maybe add a fold rotors option? Chemlight looking colour leaks on the ships fore.

Im not going to even call a single Static destroyer "Naval Warfare", but its still cool were getting some things to spice up gameplay. The Radar and AA Battery pieces don't appear to be towable or drivable either. Still neat though, love the look.

It does have a gunmount though, a simple retex for CSAT (or, possibly customization judging from the note of 'interiors') can see some pretty interesting SP scenarios. Maybe, just maybe we may see mobile versions of the SAMs since they're already modeled for both factions' vehicles but realistically the thing will be so far away there won't be a reason to move them if they're being utilized. I'm not complaining, it's progress

Good roadmap for the rest of this year. Looking forward to it and thanks, BI.

The story of (Grumpy :icon_biggrin:) Old Man sounds exciting. And I really expect a continuation of Miller's story line. You heard it, BI! :icon_biggrin:

Glad that the next Arma is still years away - this way we have some more time to finish one or another project.

He'll probably be doing splendid splits on all the Eastwind devices hes stockpiling, some of those shooter animations too forcing Kerry to watch :don9:

Holy smoke, an open-world SP scenario on Tanoa?

I could almost forgive BIS for not making a proper Apex SP campaign!

    Where's my dancing banana?

Edit : Ah, there it is! :yay:

I'm so happy that we finally see a possible hint/resolve in the never ending conflict that is ArmA 3 universe. And what happened to Miller haha!

  10. Just as I was catching up with work and tapering my addiction to 3den, I visit the Arma wiki to see where to place defences on the carrier, I noticed it.

Finding a new campaign-scenario and free assets coming which will truly put the cherry on top of possibly the last rv4 rendition, made me really fuzzy inside.

For those of you who haven't seen it. https://arma3.com/news/arma-3-roadmap-2018

The NATO carrier strike group has a new addition; a destroyer-class ship with detailed interiors and new naval fire-support options. It's also capable of launching/recovering small naval vessels and helicopters. The USS Liberty is a static object that can be placed around the map via the Scenario Editor.

And a campaign to wrap up the cliffhangers? I'll stop barking now, after 3 years.
