    Ragdoll Physics Plus+ v1.0

There is also BloodLust Redux here with some bug fixes: https://github.com/TheWreckingCrewUK/bloodlust_redux I also use BloodLust, but using BloodLust Lite from SWS. I think the older versions in terms of blood splatter were way better. If you can advise the version number, I might have an older copy lying around.
  2. I've played on this server when the admin's group is on, went on my own and ZERO problems. In fact, they gave me the keys to their heli for use as well!!! Really friendly. To the admin, you should install random CCTV and script patrol drones to monitor players. Since we do that in the "matrix" - real world, it would help to confirm disputes. You can put all the funny videos online as Jackazz ARMA TV... Would be hilarious and have tribal court to clarify or vilify players.

You've played to much Arma when:

... when your family or friends asked if you were watching the new ARMA TV series while binge watching Strike Back (up to season 6 now). Every fire fight that comes up reminds of ARMA. Especially when Stonebridge tilts and shifts in and out of the scenes when he is moving through them. Someone should seriously crib and create a coop series based on the TV show.
  4. I would like to see more vertical buildings such as Blade Runner or even those inside the Matrix. Screw airlines flying over the city. They can circle around like how they do it in Oz.
  5. You may have not enough voltage to your CPU and RAM if you have OC'ed it. When I OC, I do test with Prime95 for stability and WATCH the temperatures when you do this. My CPU goes up to 100C but I am using an older Corsair H50. For normal gaming, it gets up to 70 which is fine. It gets hot, but stable due to voltages, which increases heat ... never ending cycle... Your CPU handles heat way better now as it can OC with less voltages. You can safely bump RAM voltage by 0.05 for Samsung B-dies if you are OCing and tightening the timings... they have been tested up to 2.x voltages but I would not run it like that for daily use. Normal is between 1.35-1.65. Try to keep it as low as possible for stability and heat. Have a fan or air blowing over the RAM heat sinks to help stability. Remember to run different tests. CPU, RAM and GPU to test for stability. Lastly, if you any M2 NVME drives, they get HOT on full read and writes... make sure to have the MB heatsinks for it installed or a thirdparty. Known issue with high speed NVME drives.
  6. Did your regional temperature go up? If so, Check your PSU if the fan is working, and if you are not sure, open your case and put a fan next to it. If it is stable, it is heat related somewhere else. Then point the fan at different parts, such as the PSU, motherboard VRM heatsinks, motherboard chipset, and so on until you find a problem or none. Last thing if not power or heat related, your HDD or SDD is going bad... it happens but more rare for SSD. It can completely lockup your system for no reason. Probably HDD more than SSD.
  7. @scruffy@oldbear I just thought of something. Can you guys set ARMA affinity to 2 cores, 4 threads MAX to test Ryzen 5000 boosting? Does it get nearly up to 5GHZ or does it sit at 4.5-4.6 GHZ? Just curious how Ryzen 5000 does on heavy few core loads.

    APNA Mod Project

I have never seen anyone age discriminate here, unlike other 3D FPS game communities, but if you need help, you need to recruit people who want to work with you. I would like to see Algerian forces as well... good topic actually. Also, maybe you want to work on your project for the COLD WAR 3 project for ARMA 3? That is a bigger audience and you can use RHS or CUP with new textures to speed up your creation. Good luck in anycase.
  9. @oldbear@scruffy Can you guys tighten your RAM times to CL 14-14-14-38 1 with a 0.05 voltage increase? I bet you will get more FPS just from that. Even better if you can get Infinity Fabric 1:1 at 1900 MHZ / DDR4-3800. @nikiforos per tested setttings: IIntel I7-9700K (8 core cpu @ 5+ GHZ ) with DDR4-4000CL15 RAM, should be similar for 10700K: vs AMD 5800X with DDR4-4000CL16 RAM There is over 14 MIN FPS and 18 AVERAGE FPS difference. Most of of us care about these in ARMA, and CSGO or competitive players would look for average to peak FPS. There is $100 USD difference but no way the Intel 9700K or 10700K can keep all core 5 GHZ without at least 120 USD AIO water cooler. The Ryzen does not require it. It works with STOCK AIR COOLER up to 5GHZ turbo and gives the above performance. So the price will be the same just for CPU, RAM and MB. Plus you get PCIE Gen4 for Direct Storage coming later, similar to the XBOX X and PS5 so when users upgrade to PCIE4 M.2 NVME drives, they will get even more performance for open world games. For users buying NEW or upgrading from old 4 core systems who have to replace CPU, MB and RAM at minimum, AMD Ryzen for ARMA players is the best choice now. For current Intel 6/7/8/9/10 series with 6+ cores K CPUs, if they can OC up to 5GHZ, just get faster RAM. No point to upgrade to Ryzen 5000 series for 20+ min FPS.
  10. @Ghaleon4Before you do anything, just look at this review: https://www.techpowerup.com/review/intel-10900k-vs-amd-5900x-gaming-performance/ Look at the 1280x720 benchmarks with both Ryzen 5000 vs Intel 10X00 series with GOOD RAM. The test shows that IF the GPU has "relatively" unlimited power, hence simulated by running at an absurdly low resolution, what would be the MAXIMUM available performance from the CPU? You can see the AMD system kills all the Intel CPU system with same RAM, and GPU for all games. Then you see as it scales up to 4K, the AMD Ryzen with FAST RAM still kills all the Intel systems, with the same FAST RAM. That means in the future when even FASTER GPUs come out, you can just upgrade that and still have MORE performance to be gained, because the AMD Ryzen CPUs are ridiculously fast now. Unless you are buying a new Intel system for a huge discount, like 30-50% off, I would not binge buy anything from that. Old 14 nm technology You HAVE to OC the Intel to 5+ GHZ to match the Ryzen TODAY. Very HOT when you OC it No PCIE4 options until second half of next year and they will bring out new CPUS STILL on 14 nm process with that bolted on. Again, HOT. I could go on and on... If you need to buy now, want to save a few bucks, buy an AMD Ryzen 5600X (6 core), G.skill DDR4-3600-CL14 or CL16 if you cannot find CL14, OC that 3800CL14 if possible, MSI Tomahawk or Gigabyte Aorus Elite or Asus TUF Gaming or Asrock Steel Legend B550, or X570 MB, and swap in your old parts. For ARMA, you can max out like the user from Groove_C's post with your existing GPU. Then get a next gen GPU when it becomes available. Look at Groove_C's post and here is what a 5800X with DDR4-4000CL16 can do in single player in 1080p: 100 FPs average, 70+ FPS minimum!!! The minimum is higher than your MAX currently! I was going to get the above but noticed some game engines, Battlefield Frostbyte, DayZ (for ARMA 4), Tomb Raider, and many strategy games really are catered to 8 cores. As the current pricing for the Ryzen 5800X is over priced to me, I will wait until more GPU becomes available and buy the system at the same time to benefit. I have nearly the same system as you but with a 4790K, same RAM, nearly the same GPU 1060 GTX = 970 and I run Ultra with 3800 distance and objects. Only on Tanoa or super heavy missions like "The Devils House" that I would lower the map and objects distance to 1000 + 500 to have something reasonable. On maps other than Tanoa (I do not have contact so cannot comment on Livonia), I get between 45-80 FPS depending on the mission, online. I play ESCAPE and COOP mostly with others so you can join us to see how it goes. You can find me on Outkasts or Salty Dogs or Escape from Hell servers. Again, do not buy Intel unless you get a YUGE (President Donald Trump voice) discount. Don't waste your money on old tech when for the same money, you have a BETTER purchase with MORE performance today and tomorrow. That would be the smart buy.
  11. I though I would share these links we found regarding VRM ratings for AMD MBs: https://linustechtips.com/topic/1137619-motherboard-vrm-tier-list-v2-currently-amd-only/ https://forums.guru3d.com/threads/amd-motherboard-vrm-tested-lists.435191/#post-5855412 The lists show VRMs TESTED with OC and LN2 maxed out so we know how well they do.
  12. @Groove_C I found a review with a Rzyen 9 3950X OC @ 4.3 GHZ all core on Open Bench (NO airflow): Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite @ 78 C on the VRM full load. Asrock Steel Legend B550M has the SAME VRM as ATX version @ 86 C. https://youtu.be/JxczZChFaZI?t=929 Using 3900X at full load: Gigabyte B550 Aorus Elite @ 54 C on the VRM full load. Asrock Steel Legend B55M has the SAME VRM as ATX @ 54 C. https://youtu.be/HSY9rDsQgd4?t=846 Asus Prime X570-P @ 73 C, but using 3900 before 3950 came out. https://youtu.be/d31ZO22MZEM?t=593 The Prime X570-P is about the same price as the Gigabyte Aorus Elite but with Extra PCIE4 lanes. But it is barebones, no RESET, POWER buttons or code display.
  13. I was thinking you can do it by using the attach command and stick a bunch of buildings together to create it. There were two major parts to this scene: The square inner hallways to each other, some with gatland guns depending on the floors, and floors with "rooms" above and below it as per the shootout scene. Then connect it all with stairs. Up to 200 floors per the movie. 😄 There is an online MP server, ESCAPE FROM HELL, that created enemy bases by stacking buildings on top of each other. They were like 50 stories tall or so and worked. Or you can ask TURFY on STEAM WORKSHOP if he can make one. He made a ton of compositions that were enormous and could give some advice. I am not sure if he is on these forums.
  14. Amazing. Will you create the iconic huge 200 floor tower from Dredd 2012?
  15. Overkill. ARMA 3 game engine uses about 2 real threads itself - game and script. The others such as graphics are not that important for a dedicated server. For your setup, you can give at least 1 headclient per core or thread and support another 100-150 AI per core or thread. I would like to see the performance though. Realistically, any high IPC and Ghz cpu core should do well but AMD Ryzen and threadrippers are now the king of ARMA clock to clock.
  16. @Groove_Cthese are my prices: 😞 G.Skill Trident Z RGB 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 (F4-3200C14D-16GTZR)(ASUS AURA SYNC)(Intel XMP 2.0)184.50 USD G.Skill Trident Z RGB AMD 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 (F4-3200C14D-16GTZRX)188 USD G.Skill Trident Z Neo RGB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 (F4-3200C14D-16GTZN)(AMD Ryzen 3000)(CL14-14-14-34 1.35V)194 USD G.Skill Trident Z Royal RGB16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 (F4-3200C14D-16GTRS)(Intel XMP 2.0) 210 USD G.Skill Trident Z RGB 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3200 (F4-3200C14D-32GTZR)(ASUS AURA SYNC)(Intel XMP 2.0) 321 USD DESCRIPTIONPRICE Crucial Ballistix 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3600 (BL2K8G36C16U4B) (Black) 89 USD Crucial Ballistix 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3600 RGB(BL2K8G36C16U4BL)(Black)(3600MHz 16GB Kit 99 USD Crucial Ballistix 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3600 BL2K16G36C16U4B)(Black)(3600MHz 32GB Kit) 174 USD
  17. @Groove_C in my country, the ram is 185 USD for 16GB with RGB. There is no non-RGB! 😞 I will review the MB. Thank you for the recommendation.
  18. @Groove_C I look at local prices as I am not in EU anymore. I looked at these MB: Asus Prime B550 - very bad VRM but price is good. Asrock Phantom Gaming B550 - good price, bad VRM Asrock Phantom Gaming X570 slightly better VRM, higher price Asrock Steel Legend X570 - good VRM, but price is crazy high, but Asrock Steel Legend B550 - good VRM but price even HIGHER than X570!!! It has almost everything I WANT but price... Asus Prime X570-P, good price, VRM is better than all of the above but no post code display or reset buttons. Asus TUF Gaming F, higher price, same VRM as Prime X570-P? Regarding DDR4000, it was cheaper than 3200-CL16 or 3600-CL14 so I was thinking to buy it and clock it to 3800-CL16 or 17. I checked and it is Samsung B-dies. I agree with about the 8 core as it is now sold out in my region and for some reason, even X570 and B550 MB costs MORE than Intel right now due to demand for Ryzen. My current PSU is the Corsair RM1000 (replacement for HX850 which blew up due to lightning storm, which blew up my old I5-850 system before Haswell. CPU and RAM still good, no MB). But I have to buy a NEW system because I will keep my old system for family and pass it down to them. It is more than fast enough for their needs. Probably better to wait until January and see how AMD 6800/6800XT performs and buy it all at once.
  19. KyeCam on Steam Workshop does the same thing.
  20. I've been looking at prices vs performance and right now, I am stuck with the 5600X + MB or 5800X based on price. Thinking about the ASUS X570 P as it has really good VRM and only 25 USD more than the AsRock Phantom Gamer 4 B550! And right now, 16 GB of DDR4-3200CL14 cost more than DDR4-4000CL19. Twice the price! I could get 32GB and try to OC it to drop the CL. 16 GB of DDR4-3200CL16 is only 26 USD less than the above! All this before new GPU, PSU, SSD, case, KB+Mouse. So unsure of how to go at the moment.
  21. @Groove_C Thank you for sharing the video. It was interesting to see that all OC for Total War had better FPS, even by 2. This is current ARMA situation. MAX Load on all core OC would show real results, not peak boost as you have said. +`nA
  22. Hello Hoschi, what is your CPU cooling to get hit 4.9Ghz and can you show the minimum FPS as well? 5900XT + 3800 CL14 RAM is really good!
  23. @ Mahatma You can set the CMA AVX2 malloc using the ARMA 3 Launcher. Click on PARAMETERS, ALL PARAMETERS TAB, the goto the Memory Allocator and select cma_x64, after you had installed it into the dlls folder within ARMA. The 3300x is a really good CPU. If you have 4 banks of the same RAM, it can perform better according to other Ryzen users as it enables DUAL RANK access to memory.
  24. I watched this video and they are saying 5600X is a better purchase due to price, but it also shows 8 cores is future for gaming: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y7ukz8WUdW4 It is only too bad the price difference today between the 5600X and 5800X can include the MB or RAM already for a few FPS more. Let see if the 5800X goes down in price later to become a better value.
  25. Look at this ARMAholics from Haswell 4670K to Ryzen 5900X with old GPU: Link here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/107410/discussions/0/2995417914186952051/ "Can you return your cpu/motherboard? If you have the funds it might be worth looking into going to AMD for the 5600x or 5900x if you can afford it. I dont play KOTH but I did some testing today in the trailer park wasteland server (the one ive always played on) and I was hitting a minimum of 80fps 5 minutes before restart. Earlier when I loaded it up about a half hour after a restart I was in the 100-110 range pretty often in that server. If you have a specific KOTH server youd want me to try feel free to say and I'll join it to give you a rough idea of fps so you can see if its worth it to you. Coming from a 4670k which was giving me 30-50(50 right after a server restart) on the same server it was well worth it for me and that was with my settings on a mixture of medium and high (did alot of tinkering to find the best results with the old cpu) and now im on the ultra preset with blur turned off, sharpening filter at 100, overall distance at 3800, object distance at 2000, and shadows at 200. specs that contribute to arma 1920x1080 CPU: ryzen 5900x STOCK GPU: GTX 970 (soon little one) STOCK RAM: 32gb 3600mhz CL16 XMP enabled (duh to actually hit 3600mhz) Storage: 2tb NVME TLC (what arma is on also boot drive)" Look at that ONE thread at 89% CPU ultilization but with over 100 FPS! See more details in the thread above! I found a 5800X! Now to find the RAM and MB and pull all my old parts over!
