  1. We would like to remind that FT-2 maps are hosted by us on public servers. Overly complex (fine grain) squad management is usually frowned upon by the players. In either case, a minimal and fairly effective squad management is present: creating groups and password protecting them. We also have the capability to place markers. ShackTack Fireteam HUD (STHud) has been a part of permitted mods for a long time. It works well with the allocated squads. You can find the full list of permitted addons HERE. We are already thinking about creating the capability of unlocking vehicles for a group, and it will be available in subsequent releases. If we attract more players that are much more organized and/or belong to squads we will implement the additional squad management system.

    We already have them! For example the map called "Die Hard". Also you may try our special HardCore server which is caled "[3DP:OFF] < Hi,A3 PRO FT-2 (Expert, TS:hia3.net) hia3.com > [PERF]" And feel free to help us to improve FT-2 using our Forum - http://forums.hia3.com. Maybe you will see a lot of threads in Russian but don't be confused - English is always welcome!

  5. You might be interested in our special Veteran server called "[3DP:OFF] < Hi,A3 PRO FT-2 (Expert, TS:hia3.net) hia3.com >". Difficulty settings are pretty well on it. We have 3 different difficulty sets for 3 types of our FT-2 servers and all you need is to choose the one you like more. P.S.     If J4F was the best Capture and Hold then how it could just disappear? Please, clarify what exactly is disbalanced? Are you talking about one particular FT-2 mission or FT-2 in general? Thread: Enyone play Sector Control Missions?

  11. We would like to suggest a new settings for 3rdPersonView parameter in [profile_name].Arma3Profile configuration file before we made a ticket about it on feedback tracker. We think that 3rdPersonView prameter should have more options according to player's status in game. There are two basic statuses: "Player on foot" and "Player in vehicle". Each status assumes a different way of using 3rd person view by a player. When a "Player is on foot", he would probably use 3rd person view to determine the friendlies and (what is more important) enemies position. Usually, that makes him a kind of cheater. Second status is "Player in vehicle". From this position most of players are using a 3rd person view to improve their driving accuracy mostly and sometimes to determine the enemy. That is why we think that 3rdPersonView parameter should be separated or expanded. So here is our suggestions. A first way we see is to expand 3rdPersonView parameter to: 3rdPersonView=0; - 3rd person view is off 3rdPersonView=1; - 3rd person view is on for all 3rdPersonView=2; - 3rd person view is on for vehicles, off for infantry 3rdPersonView=3; - 3rd person view is on for infantry, off for vehicles A second way is to split it as two different parameters with individual 3rd person view settings: 3rdPerson_Infantry=0; - 3rd person view is off for infantry 3rdPerson_Infantry=1; - 3rd person view is on for infantry ... 3rdPerson_Vehicles=0; - 3rd person view is off for vehicles 3rdPerson_Vehicles=1; - 3rd person view is on for vehicles Thanks to Terox for proposing second method.
