    Good point. That is probably something we would have to test to actually confirm. I can't recall from our pre-release tests. I do know that you can lock it on buildings.

    @opendome: Is it possible you have your T or shift+T bound to something else? Also, could you try it with just cba_a3 and our mods running in case another 3rd party mod you are using is causing a problem? @HeroesandvilliansOS: Unfortunately not. The NLAW is probably your only alternative. Using the binocular slot is the only way we can have the CLU unit useable as a standalone optic. In our Op's we usually run with a specialized Javelin team for dealing with heavier armour - or even Hinds if you can stay locked on them long enough!

    @opendome: Here are the notes for assembling and firing the Javelin. I am guessing the issue will be that you are perhaps not in thermal mode and fully zoomed in on the target before you are pressing T. Javelin Launcher Equip a Javelin Command Launch Unit (CLU) into your Binocular slot. It can be used as a thermal spotting system on it’s own. Equip a Javelin Tube to your launcher slot. It has a black end cap protecting the missile inside the tube. To assemble the Javelin press “Ctrl+Bâ€. The CLU will be attached to the Tube (if @Ace3 is loaded this option is also available on the interaction menu). Aim at a target with a thermal signature. Sight down the optics (right mouse button). Switch to thermal imaging by pressing “N†(toggles day-thermal-thermal). Zoom in from WFOV to NFOV by pressing “Numpad+â€. In vanilla ArmA press “T†to lock-on to the target. With @Ace3, press and hold “T†to obtain a lock which may take a few seconds. With @ace3 you can additionally change the attack mode from ‘Direct’ to ‘Top Down’ by pressing “Shift+Tâ€. Fire the missile (left mouse button). Disassemble the CLU from the used tube by pressing “Ctrl+Bâ€. The CLU is returned to your binocular slot for re-use. Discard the used Javelin tube. Pick up another – but bear in mind they cost $250,000 each! NB: While sighting through the assembled Javelin, if you move too fast @ace3 causes the optical sight to drop away from the eye.

    It does appear to be wanting the Weapon Pack, but there shouldn't be a dependency. It is normally the 3CB Units pack that require the Weapons and Equipment packs and you haven't said that you are using it. We may have overlooked the cargo section on the vehicle or the contents of a crate I suppose. We'll have to check. In the short term, adding the Weapon pack should resolve it.

    @DrFatalChunk: The only way we can do that is to make the 3cb Baf Unit, Equipment and Weapon packs a dependency for the Vehicle pack. At the moment they are separate as we slowly work through everything we are aiming to release. Once we have everything to at least version 1, we could look at combining them into an overall pack. The other consideration is that not every Arma clan wants to use all of our packs. They may just want to use the uniforms, or just the weapons, or just the vehicles etc... so the decision to merge them all would probably warrant some thought before we do it. Until then, we have to leave the vanilla units as the default crew.

    @jordanbache97: That is actually the Blufor NATO uniform from Arma 3. We have tried to modify it considerably to remove the kneepads. However, they still appear under certain lighting conditions and we haven't been able to resolve it. Because of that, there are no plans to switch to it as it stands. We do have a new uniform courtesy of Cunico (of RHS fame), but it needs to be weighted to correctly use the Arma 3 skeleton. That is something we can't do at present as we lack someone with the skills to do it. Out of interest, where did you find the image?

    @madbrood: We do have an updated model coming for the actual L110 weapon itself, but any new scope would require a model. If we can source one, or modify the original, then perhaps we can include it.

    @vking: When we next update the weapon pack (we have more stuff to add in the near future) we can look at the sound. @ayylmao: In the next update, we will be adding in the sound tails that were released with the most recent update to the game. Hopefully then the sound will have the echo tail and additional sounds when firing indoors etc...

    @TheLimbo365 and @Mangoshead: Could you do a quick test? Try placing down the Commanche \ Orca \ Kajman on the LHD or any of the other lighter helicopters with wheels (not skids). See if you get the same issue. We noticed the 'bounce' during our MP testing when placing the helos on the ground and / or having a pilot in them. Our helicopters largely inherit from the vanilla light helos in terms of PhysX and the BIS helos also did it.

    As ineptaphid says, if you are in the Editor, place down your playable unit first, then you can access the 'Empty' faction. From there you can place down any empty vehicle, including the Coyote.

    You are likely running another mod that is breaking the 3CB scripts. The CBA compatibility pbo "may" fix the problem but it's worth removing your mods one by one to work out which one is actually broken so you, and we can tell the author. In the meantime, go to "optionals" in the CBA main folder and move "cba_enable_auto_xeh.pbo" file to Addons folder.

    @autigergrad: To do both of those we will have to make the vehicles a dependency of the unit pack. Ultimately that will probably happen at some point in the near future as we continue to churn out new vehicles and equipment.

    @Autigergrad. Not this round. This round it is variants of the Wildcat helicopter and an Apache. The Landies and Ridgebacks are something for future releases.

    @maquez: I am not sure why you are getting so animated about this. As I stated above, the issue is undoubtedly a conflict with another mod. We don't have a lot of spare time to devote to this particular issue, however, if JDT is prepared to help us by working through his mod repo and locating the cause of the conflict, that is great. Identifying the mod clash allows us to look at it and our vehicle pack to see what causes the problem. If it is something we have done, we can correct it. If it is a fault in the other mod, we can give feedback to the person that created the other mod in case they aren't aware. It would be one more error fixed. If not, well, we have plenty of other modding work to be getting on with. :D

    @JDT It is undoubtedly a conflict with another mod. We haven't reproduced the issue running 3CB mods, plus a couple of extra major addons like ACE3, RHS, CBA_A3, Leights Opfor, AIA Terrain etc... It is likely that the issue is being caused by one of the other mods in the repo you are using. If you could run a few tests for us by gradually removing some of your mods and seeing if / when the issue disappears, that would be a great help. Once the cause is narrowed down, we can look at fixing the problem for you. Thanks.

    Thanks for the feedback / update, loopdk. I am glad you found a way of applying it. We'd put back the 'insignia' selection we had accidentally missed in the original release and tested that you could apply them in the virtual arsenal, which you can. We'd have to take a look as to why your init code isn't working ahead of a future release.
