  1. I know this makes me out to be the newb that I am, but I can't get this map to work. I installed it via the Steam Launch Options (which I have used with success dozens of times in the past), but I can't find this map in my editor; the only map listed is Stratis. I'm obviously missing something. Any help would be appreciated.
  2. This looks so awesome! I kinda want to see Movie Era uniforms, like the armored security officers... Yeah... I'm thinking about making a time travel mission with this mod. Good stuff.

  4. Ack! I posted my excitement twice! That's how long I've waited for this... EDIT: To make this post useful, here's something I think would benefit this add-on: I'm not a huge fan of the SDAR, as I don't run missions where you fight underwater. It would be cool if you had Diver units with suppressed MP5s instead of SDARs (Navy SEAL style), especially considering that only the officers start with the iconic MP5.

  6. I love this pack and plan to use it as my primary for my Arma group, so these notes are to help this mod be improved to the highest quality. Your optics seem misaligned. On the ACOG, targets at 400 are hit above the 4 hash, instead of dead on it. The aimpoint says its zeroed at 200, but it can hit targets at 300 and 400 straight on the dot. I have no real complaints as far as performance, but there's obviously something up here. Texture is wacked on on the HK417 magazine. I'm also confused as to why its a marksman rifle. Maybe I'm not versed enough in this firearm, bu I thought it was just a heavier version of the 416, like the SCAR-H to the SCAR-L. If you did the research, then keep it as it should be. Personally, I like the trade-off between more powerful rounds and less ammunition, so I would like to use the 417 as my go-to firearm, but I don't consider myself a marksman. It won't stop me, however. With the M107, at a range of 1000m, I noticed I was consistently hitting the notch below zero while zeroed to 1000m with BIS's SOS optic. The zeroing is off, and this may be weapon-wide. I don't know how zeroing works (whether its entirely optic, weapon, or both), but if you weapons are off, then your optics may not be (as stated above). You don't have a 7- or 8-round .45 ACP magazine for the M1911. As this is a classic (and my favorite) handgun, I'm am disappointed. In addition, it appears like you just reused the model of the .45 handgun from BIS. Also, any .45 ACP magazine will work in the M1911. This seems the same with all handguns and same-caliber magazines (I have not tested it with rifle magazines). If that was your intent, then it works fine albeit not realistic. Overall, as I said, this mod is pretty solid. I flipping LOVE your simple red dot for M203s. With other mod weapons, their M203 sights have always been utterly worthless. With these, I finally feel like I can use the M203 with effect, instead of just firing off for fun and never hitting my zeroed target. Don't change that! I look forward to future improvements! You have a fan in me, massi. EDIT: One last thing: and this is personal. Since your M1911 is using the same model as the BIS .45, can you make yours nickel-plated? I know the hardcore guys are going to get after for this, but I love that classic shine on my M1911. Again, personal, so I expect this to be ignored.

  9. In my group's story line, we're about to unravel an international weapons dealing ring that is supplying the CSAT campaign in the Aegean, and these guys look perfect! Looking forward to testing them out.
  10. I dig this mod, sadly my group of players is not large enough to make good use of it. Were I to use it, I would love for the map of Stratis to have the same grid as it does when you bring up your map, so the commander can use it as a reference when coordinating.

    For some reason I can never extract your Accessories zip file when I DL it from your site. When its on Armaholic (as with previous versions) it works fine. I guess I'll have to wait. Computers are silly. EDIT: And there it goes. Live and rock on, Armaholic! Thanks for the update, Alwarren!

  19. Great mod. Just in case you were unaware, since .58 went live, the M107 does not make any sound (at all) while the silenced barrel end is attached. This is due to a new format for sound files in ArmA 3. Fortunately, since it only seems to affect the silenced variant, as a map maker I don't see a need to stop using it, since all my M107 engagements that use suppressors are at 500m+ at night. Keep up the great work!

    FHQ Accessories pack

    I'm having problems extracting v1.1 with 7-Zip. It claims it can't open it as an archive. Suggestions? EDIT: Tried it with WinZip, and it says it cannot be unzipped.
  21. First of all, love the weapons mod. My group use it as our primary weapon group. That being said, I imagine you are aware of some issues since the latest non-dev patch. Just in case, here's what I've noticed. 1) M4 and M1911 have no firing sound, except when silenced (which I read you have fixed). 2) MP5 works fine, still. 3) No other weapon - except for the ones above - can fire at all. It came as quite a nasty surprise when I, as the HK-21 gunner, was trying to shoot a contact through the window from a meter away, only to have no bullets come out and then die. D: I'm sure your working on fixing these issues. I look forward to your next update. I'll take this post to also comment on the mod. I'm curious as to why the M60 can't have optics attached. As a group, we all feel the MP5 does too little damage to be effective. I assume your using the damage of the PO7 - which takes about six shots to dropped a target. Lastly, I feel the HK and M60 magazines are way too light. I feel like Hercules when I can carry around six of them without a backpack. Just some observations, but - as I said - I totally enjoy and appreciate this mod and look forward to the update. Keep it up!
