Congrats on the release, I must say I've been using these quite a bit when I find time to play. Have you planned to have ASDG JR compatibility? For some reason you can attach some community side rail attachments, but not the optics. -

Also, some of you that are struggling may have to lower your sensitivity settings, at least until you get used to it. It's incredible to see people do 180s in an instant and complaining that the guy that turned slower managed to kill them anyway. It is inertia, after all. -

Nerf OP. But seriously, it seems like your (djotacon in this case) sensitivity is making the problem bigger than it is. Perhaps lowering it might help? -

Well, not really. To use the suppressing function the integral suppressor was made as an attachment, so you should be able to find it as a muzzle attachment for your Honey Badger. -

Yeap, it's actually pretty practical at short ranges. Inertia makes it a bit of a challenge at long range, so you won't be doing Travis Haley drills at 300m or anything. -

Okay, I've got a few things listed here that I'd like to say about what's been released as of now: 1. I like what you did with the textures. Can't quite put my finger on it, but they definitely feel like they look better. 2. Some of your icons may be incorrect, as I've noticed some of the X-series drums have the standard mag icons. 3. The PBS4 and 1 seem to not make a sound when firing, which is unfortunate. 4. The colour of the BCM Jack is a bit too light for the "disruptive grey" that seems to be on the rifle. Also, may I ask what is that weird metal-looking thing where the Pmag's supposed to be? Now, onto lighter things. I've read somewhere that you had plans to do a launcher pack at one point. If you do so, are they any plans for disposable launchers, preferably in the same way CAF does the LAW? I always thought that those were neat, with the whole arming, firing and dumping process. I don't really do requests, but I guess there's no real harm, so in no particular order: A vz58 in the AK pack, in 7.62x39 and 5.56x45 preferably, just to mess with the people; a C7A2, arguably my favorte AR variant; finally an AKM with the steel mags, for those days when you want to really look and feel local. -

Ah, I see. I should have used "relatively" instead of "pretty". I mean, the average FN GPMG is like 12-ish kg. Even the MK48 is 8-ish kg. -
Erm, sorry to say Ohally, but you may have to delay the update again. There's been some implementation of inertia in weapons handling in devbranch, with documentation to follow soon. It may be worth waiting for.

Whelp! I think BIS may have accidentally made sight radius a big deal while turning, so props to that. After playing around with it some more (although I haven't tried the pistols yet) I'm starting to get a pretty good feel for it. My only real feedback would be to have the smaller weapons have a slightly smaller effect and the sniper rifles a bigger effect. I won't say anything on the Negev of the KAC LMGs because they seem to be pretty light from what I can tell, though I haven't held either. -

May I ask for modding's sake: How does one configure these things in custom weapons? Is it tied to their mass or is it something else entirely? Either way, proper good. Not what I was expecting, but better. -
Yea, I think it may be the weapons. My HLC Agressors are pretty much dead on all the time, which is not the case with the default guns.

Sweet pack there, great to see a bunch of patterns that were used in the 90s and early 2000s that no one else has done. My only wish is to have Night Desert shirts with some Choco-Chip or the 3-tone desert camo (DCU I think?) to really nail that 90s SF look. -

Oh what the hell is that sound? It's unsettling to the point that I really don't want to have to experience it, but feel a strange need to listen to it some more. May I ask, is that a custom map or are you using the Mediterranean ones to showcase your things? Either way, it's working. Can't wait to see more stuff, whenever it's coming. -

Noice. There's one thing that comes to mind though... It does look quite bulky, especially since the ODST look really sleek and almost cat-like. Honestly I think that the overalls under the armour (under-over alls?) add too much bulk. Perhaps one of the VR suits (if the community's allowed to use them) would work better as a bodysuit under the armour. Anyways, great job. One step closer, indeed. -

Yea, as is in devbranch it's sort of at a decent middle ground. Easy enough not to offend people, but hard enough to not make 1000 metre shots when fatigued. I could use some more, but I won't die if it stays like this. I wonder how all this is going to tie in with the inertia, and when it's coming.- 1935 replies

Honestly downloading it now probably isn't the best idea. As the game has continued updating without it Blastcore has been racking up quite a few errors, plus a new version should be coming along in some time. Smartest thing to do now would probably be to wait and see.

Toadie, I have some rather bad news. It seems that your 7.62 AK suppressors don't make their usual pew pew noises, 5.45 seems to be working fine with all of them. Slightly off topic, but are the different X-systems .308 drums supposed to be incompatible with the different platforms? If so, it would be great to have more options (ball, tracer, mixed) instead of just one option that's different per system. -
I hadn't realized they didn't make sound until today. Then again, my brain's sound engine has been pretty effective at covering these sorts of things up.
